what would happen if you go to the star summit, after the castle has returned to its original place?I know there's a guard near the entrance, but what if you could glitch your way out?Have you ever tried it?I would really like to know :D
Hazard Storage (#3) is my personal favorite both for the creativity involved in discovering it and for how creepy it looks when Mario's trembling in mid-air with his eyes flashing.
i played every paper mario (yea even sticker star) and i can say they are super fun but none of them gives me this "yea i could play this over and over" feeling. i randomly found this channel and subbed to it instantly because 1. i love glitches 2. your voice is so relaxed i really like it so far i didnt regret it :D
Technically, it was truly partnerless at the end, as he was with Goompa, and there are NO other party members. But I don't think that would be possible, even with all the LZS and out of bounds tricks. Though that would be an impressive run if I ever saw it completed.
Jinnyfizz no, I'm a sub of that guy, and he is a sub of stryder7x (this vids maker), he speaks spanish, and surprisingly good english, on his pokemon fire red (nuzlocke ramdomizer) lp he named his rival Klorado (the name wouldn't fit)
Lolito52 ...Why do I need to speak spanish for you to tell me? I'm just curious. Besides, I like watching videos in different languages sometimes; it can be an interesting challenge to try and figure out what's going on.
This is the most weirdly specific channel ever. But I just watched like 10 of your vids and I've never even played Paper Mario, so you must be doing something right :D
Once during the second Mayor cutscene after he got up but before he went to grab the gift from the shelf, I paused for a pee break. It was paused for a while but when I came back and unpaused, I was surprised to see the Mayor's sprite was replaced with an ordinary bumpty sprite. Bumptymayor walked over to the shelf and the game crashed, presumably to do with loading the gift-grabbing animation. It was the first and only time I'd seen the error handler screen, and I thought it was pretty sweet. Have you ever heard of this particular crash? Any idea why it happened?
For the glitch in number ten... what would happen if you talked to goombario instead? Would he explode into coins? If so what would happen if you tried to use tattle again or got into a battle?
I've been watching your streams lately and I was just wondering do you disable twitch chat on your streams or am I just not looking hard enough? I can understand if you get a lot of bad comments on your stream that you would want to disable them but I just really want to know, thanks.
I didn't think Goomba King Glitch could be topped, but how wrong I was. Great work. Also, I find it funny that the last 3 glitches take up almost half the video..
Game Theory with their Minecraft and Fnaf moneyhoarding got nothing on you. Glad to see someone taking on Paper Mario on so much, I always knew it had some nice glitches somewhere.
I forgot I used to watch your videos all the time. Your content is so interesting, and it's awesome to see people dissect your favorite games so extensively.
I may sound stupid, but I found this channel again in about a year or so lol, i forgot the passwords on like 3 of my accounts that were subbed to this channel and now after i found this channel again ,i can truly redefine myself as a growing nintendo nerd
Apart from your videos I have never encountered this game before, but I must say you are doing a really good job at explaining how glitches work :) I have a question though; why are you playing on a Japanese version of the game?
Stryder, I love your paper Mario glitches, I used most of the ones I didn't know, and I beat the game in about 1-2 days. Then I goofed around with the unhelpful glitches.
I really like how that exact same room keeps popping up in this channel. Maybe programming a spring to "end a cutscene" and give you the ability to jump on it without starting a cutscene was not not such a hot idea after all, lol.
This is why Paper Mario 64 is my favourite game of the trilogy (no, I'm not counting Colour Splash, and _definitely_ not Sticker Star), people are still finding things about this game over fifteen years after its release.
This is absolutely crazy. Great job. The sad thing though, is that games will NEVER have the same type of fascination with how they work that games had in the pre-online console era. And games used to have such things as legendary glitches that added to the lore of the game. It feels so much more rebellious to glitch through a wall in an old game than it does to drive 150 MPH in Need For Speed; it's rebelling against the lack of freedom allowed by the almighty creators. With modern games, if there's a problem, it can be quickly fixed via an online update. In the pre-online console era though, the game that was released initially was the game we got. We have fascination with what the developers were thinking years ago when making it, because there were no updates along the way; kind of like digging up a book that someone buried.
This is sad that I dont have this game NOR the console, since it would be cool to follow every glitch just for fun. Still, I really love the content so keep up the good work!
Stryder7x I wanted to say, if you haven't found it already, there is a stack of boxes in the desert town nearby that spellcard place, where if you jump around it enough, you collide through the boxes and into a small area (I'm not sure about this part) That makes glitches VERY eay.
Just watching the goomba king glitch and the number 1 glitch... I have to ask: What goes on in your head that makes you think to try something like that? "I'll jump on a spring, talk to kolorado while merlee is doing her magic, then jump on the zipline! That'll be sure to glitch the game!" Is it something like that?
for Number 10, the game can also crash if you get Herringway's s[rite to chnge during the cutscene where the mayor gives him a gift, this glitch is described on one of the Fandoms as well.
