I'm kinda surprised that the fact that Courtney Cox went through miscarriage was not in this list, especially considering that it was during the arc of her and Chandler trying to get pregnant. There was a reason that phone call of Monica finding out her uterus is a "hostile environment" was so sadly well acted by Courtney.....

The Rachel thing is yeah, imagine going to work and having to spend a decent amount of time doing a hairstyle you don't like and then every time you look back on your work you have to fight to not remember that bad experience.

Unfortunately Matthew Perry hasn’t been sober since 2001. The memoir discusses how he has relapsed 50-60 times over the years, the most recent being 2018 which left him in a coma. He just did a whole press tour about it, it’s a big detail to get incorrect.

To me, the saddest story has to be about Matthew Perry. Chandler has always been my favourite character. Thanks to Matthew. I remember him playing Carol Seaver's boyfriend Sandy in "Growing Pains". Sad episode too. I really wish him the best. My best Friend, indeed.

The full story of the pay negotiation is more interesting than that. It was actually David Schwimmer. One of the highest paid of the 6 who got them together and insisted that they do it. Matthew Perry thanks him in his autobiography for it.

The fact that they don't talk about Ben Geller is kinda sad. Ross had a son and he a part of some plots for half the series, but once Rachel got pregnant with Emma, Ben Geller suddenly disappeared with no traces as to what happened to his character.

Definitely such a thing as too skinny. If its your natural bodyweight to be skinny no problem, but straving yourself doesn't make you attractive. All models pretty much looked like 12 year old boys back in the day, but its starting to get a bit better.

After reading Matthew Perry’s book twice, I went back and watched “Friends.” I had forgotten how hilarious that show was and is. Tears running down my face from laughing so hard! 😂 What also struck me was that many of the issues they addressed in the series were real life issues for Matthew. Puts a new spin on things. 😢

I personally like that they made a Joey episode. To me it's the wrap-up for the entire cast of Friends. That it's not as popular isn't important. At least they gave Joey a promising ending to his personal love story the way he deserved, not feeling quite the odd one out at the final season of Friends.

Idk if was just me or what. I really didn’t see much to be considered “dark” here. All of this, issues with weight, getting hurt filming, problems dealing with fame, etc… actors have been dealing with since the start of Hollywood. Matthew Perry’s substance abuse issues was a dark thing to deal with because it could be a little more extreme than most drug abuse by actors. I am glad though that he managed to pull through and maintain a successful career.

Ross and rachel almost started but broke it off bc of Ross's list only both to get t9gether in later season and lasted a season be4 breaking up. He was sober in the reunion but that was still false. He newrly died in 2018 as he was injecting drugs ibto himself leading too his colon too burst.

They say he was “clean” since 2001, but I just read his book (riveting, heartbreaking) and I thought that he never really got clean. He had “2 year periods” (I think a couple) in which he was clean, but he always relapsed. He’s 52 in the book, and I believe he had a relapse maybe two years prior. Did I get that wrong? He was clean from ‘01 - ‘22, 21 years? No, the book is about how he finds it impossible to stay clean. He wasn’t writing about struggling with crippling addiction decades ago, it was a chronic and presiding thing.

How is "the network didnt like their salary negotiation" a dark truth? They wanted to exploit them as all the show networks do, and they just stood their ground... of course they are all equally important, and of course without every single one of them the show would be long dead... so pay them for fucks sake!!!
