I thought Baby Reindeer was a phenomenonal show. He had a right to share his story and it's important to spread awareness of men being sexual assault survivors.
I don't feel sorry for The Stalker from Baby Reindeer (I refuse to say her name). She couldn't keep her story straight in her interview. She was a convicted stalker before she stalked him. Obviously, the system failed them both. She needs to be locked up forever. She's going to hurt more people. She's a sociopath.
I’m surprised Twelve Forever isn’t on the list. Out of all the shows they cancelled, that show has probably the most tragic reasoning for the cancellation.
I'm so glad that the Duffer Brothers listened to their guts, and were firm on their insistence that the child protagonists be included in the show. Most networks just wanted a typical police procedural, with Hopper as the clear protagonist.
I had no idea about executives wanting Hopper to be the protagonist. I do remember that networks rejected the series because executives didn't think the 80s would appeal to anyone.
@@kamsismith Me neither, until I read an article about it. At least the 80's are making a comeback, and shows like "Freaks and Geeks" which was made in the late 1990's/early 2000's, but set in the early 1980's, would have more of a chance of lasting beyond a single season nowadays.
@@kamsismith Yep, but it predates all of those other shows, when 80's nostalgia hadn't quite hit. "That 80's Show" was obsessed with pointing out that it was set in the 80's, and used references as punchlines. "Everybody Hates Chris" was also set in the 80's, but wisely focused more on the characters and their problems than on the setting.
They missed the dark truth that Netflix shows spend an annoying time with character and plot development and the REAL movie or show is actually the last 20 minutes.
Isn't it without a doubt that "House of Cards" would be Number One because of Kevin Spacey's Predatory Behaviour against his victims that are mainly men? *[Sarcasm]*
People are still watching Netflix? Even after the grooming movie Cuties. And teaching teens to unalive themselves in 13 reasons why. People are still defending this garbage.
Lol, it is a whole service that has a number of different output streams. It's like asking for all BBC media to be taken off because one or two articles were toxic or unnerving.
