Long overdue. It still disgusts me and being honest, saddens me that so many were betrayed in hideous manners at the hands of his actions. However, it sure is nice to see the justice system actually work at getting it right. No fine, couple days in jail, community service. I'm satisfied.
It’s like that episode of that 70th show of Hyde ends up in jail/prison,now it’s end up in reality for the actor Danny Masterson to go to jail for along time now. Karma
- Leo getting arrested for selling drug paraphernalia - Laurie dying in rehab - Kelso and Jackie getting married - Hyde ending up in prison for life This is life imitating fiction like never before!
Yeah except for on the show Laurie was replaced by another actress and didn’t die in Rehab, Jackie (initially) Marries Fez not Kelso and Chong is just Chong. On the show and off lol.
@@fusion4015 The show was great 👍🏻 too bad the three Amigo’s were such pricks irl. They walked around Hollywood like they owned the place and treated women like 🚮. Even Ashton he was no Saint. Before he dated Brittany and married Demi he slept his way through every woman (famous and not famous) and he treated Demi like 💩. Instigating her drinking and enabling her only to tell her the next day what an embarrassment she was. Then Cheating on her not once but twice, one of the times he was with Demi’s own daughter Rumer when he flirted with the second girl before going off and cheating. Just disgusting.
@@matthewf9909 No, there is no proof Hyde did any of these things, Hyde is only a character in a TV show. I think you can imply there is real proof given that Danny Masterson, the actor who played Hyde, got 30 years to life
Who’s a Scientologist besides Danny? From what I’ve read the rift happened when he wanted to leave the show to do movies, and of course being the shows lead they knew it would ruin it. Which it of course did.
I don’t think that was a secret. It was really just the people on the show that didn’t like him. Like they were the “cool kids” and he was the “nerd” who’d rather stay at home memorizing his lines. They bullied him like a bunch of high school thugs it’s like grow up😑. Then things escalated when Topher announced he was leaving the show to pursue a TV career. It’s not like Charlie’s Angels where Farrah Fawcet wasn’t getting her way so she left after ONE season (under that smile she was demanding and a diva)…..Topher put in SEVEN seasons!! That’s a long time for a young man just starting his career and he got so much hell for it 😒
@@ckotcher1 agreed. And with all the shit with Donna (can't remember the actress name rn) irl and scientology connections, the fact that Kunis and Kutcher married later in life.. it's all weird..
@@someguy892 Topher did there for a while… He was in a movie with Scarlett Johansson. He had the lead “my bosses daughter”.. Then he played venom in Spider-Man three which was supposed to catapult him, but we all know how that turned out lol… Not his fault it was just bad casting. Then he was in that Romantic comedy “take me home tonight“ with Teresa Palmer, Chris Pratt, and Anna Faris back when Chris Pratt was still… Chubby to be fair, but that under performed as well. The most recent thing I’ve seen him and that I liked Was he was in an episode of black mirror playing a Steve Jobs type. The title was called “smithereens“ and it had that brilliant actor from Sherlock who plays Sherlocks antagonist. I can’t remember his name but it’s season five Black mirror second to last episode and he’s pretty good at it not as good as the guy from Sherlock but it’s a small role. He’s done a lot more than Ashton, Danny and Fez have that’s for sure. 😑 Ashton was so lovable and handsome and Mila was so pretty on “That 70’s”.. but now they have aged and I don’t find them attractive anymore. Probably because they’re true selves were revealed. And as far as career’s go? think of it, what have Ashton, Denny and fez (yes I’ll always call him Fez) done besides Ashton doing a cringe impression in a movie about Steve Jobs (because he looked like him). And that HORRIBLE run on “Two and a half men”… And “The Ranch” with his rap ist buddy. I’m so glad he ahem “stepped down” from his charity. They should make Mila step down too she’s just as nasty and culpable as her annoying husband. Hypocrites 😒
Rest in peace, Lisa Robin Kelly. We lost her so young, at only 43 years old. I had no idea that she was struggling with drug addiction, which prompted Laurie's recasting. I hope that Laurie will be eventually mentioned in the spinoff, even in passing.
In the movie FACE/OFF, the daughter of John Travolta’s character was about to be date raped by Danny Masterson’s character before her father intervened and beat the shit out of him. HOW IRONIC…
You need to look up the word "ironic" in the dictionary. It does not describe the comparison you cite. "Prescient" would be the word you're looking for.
Where is the new reboot? I can’t find it anywhere. Also are all the og characters back? Besides obviously Lisa Robin Kelly and Tanya Roberts RIP 🪦 🥺. …Oh and that guy who just got sentenced to 30 years to life.
@@ckotcher1 It's on Netflix, and is coming back for a second season soon. Many of the original cast only make brief cameos, with Fez and Donna appearing the most.
Honourable mention is this. Red hated the teens so much, it drove him insane. He left Point Place and moved to Detroit under a new name; Clarence Boddicker.
Avoid Wilmer Valderrama as well. He met Mandy Moore when she was 15, & they dated when she was 16 or 17. He was 4 years older than Mandy at the time & decided that he'd go about saying that she lost her virginity to him, something Mandy has denied. He then dated Lindsay Lohan, she was 18, he was 24. Wilmer then met Demi Lovato when she was 17 & he was 29, but they started dating when she was 18. Amanda Pacheco is Wilmer's wife & mother of his child. She is 11 years his junior. This guy owns a restaurant with Danny & Ashton as well.
Ashton had no problem with him being 19, Mila being 14 & them kissing. Danny knew about their ages & bet Ashton to french kiss Mila. They are still friends with him as well. It's all beyond vile
It’s called acting and a 14 year old kissing a 19 year old for a television show isn’t that huge of a deal. Yes mila and Ashton supported Danny for a while but have come out since against him. He lied to them and they gave a friend the benefit of the doubt. They aren’t bad people, he is. Also he bet Ashton to kiss her? What? Dude stop making shit up
It was the 90s. That shit was normal back then. Do you know how many of my girlfriends were dating older guys? Like...all of us. That's why no one cared. R Kelly wasn't in trouble until way after then. Because they were all doing it. Epstein island wouldn't have even been a big deal. For most of human history men have been going after really young girls. It's only just started to change
Lohan's case shouldn't be here, felt petty... everyone knew she wasn't well in her personal life, the delay is not something relevant enough for the audience to consider a "dark truth"...
That's why watchmojo is milking it for all its worth. Brace yourself when they post "top 1 Danny's who are sex monsters from that 70s show (number one will surprise you)" in about a week or so.
@@Lotsoflettersforanameto be fair everyone is milking it. It’s huge and shocking news. One thing I didn’t know was Danny was was apparently a hardcore alcoholic
Buddy (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) kissing Eric (Topher Grace) was so obscured by the dark lighting that it's practically invisible! The suggestion of a same-sex kiss between 2 guys is enough to make some people go nuts! I also felt that it was sad when Lisa Robin Kelly died that no one from the show offered/expressed their sympathies.
They had a same-sex kiss on Dawson's Creek... out in broad daylight. That was the first teen drama with an actual coming-out storyline of one of the main characters. The year was 1998. I was in 6th grade.
@@NessaBear90Yeah, I somehow missed it when it was on TV and had to catch it here on _RU-vid._ It was OK. The kiss between Luke and Noah on _As The World Turns_ was better. 😏
@themirrorsofmymind Really?! Awww... I was totally happy for Jack when he did that because he finally accepted who he was... unfortunately... he was rejected 😭😭
@@redacted2275 in 2023 people overreacted to a Trans social media influencer being the face of a lite beer brand. In 2020 people were against a hallmark movie depicting a lesbian couple. In 2017 there were people wanting to boycott the live action Beauty and the Beast because of a character being gay in it. So yeah, I'm willing to believe that LGBTQ haters back then in the mid-late 90s weren't happy.
Okay I am drawing the line at the Topher hate. He’s literally the only one who is normal. Laura is a Scientologist, Wilmar preys on girl’s significantly younger than him (Demi), Mila and Ashton are rapist supporters, and Danny is a rapist but yet half of these entries have digs on topher.
@UltraPoseidon He was dating a girl while still in the second season of That 70s Show. He went to her place to pick her up, saw her murdered body through the door way, but all his buddies, and agent thought it would be best for his budding career to tell the cops he saw nothing.
@@DaddyOfTheSugarVariety I remember hearing about that. I don't know what to say though. The killer was most likely gone. But also, the police and detectives would've questioned him. And made him a suspect.
@@RyanReacts4Ever Kutcher's lying about what he witnessed on the crime scene couldn't have helped. Also, the fact that he was more concerned about his acting career over the murder of someone he knew makes him look really bad.
It was a first date. He saw blood through the window and called the cops. How did he hinder the investigation? And isn't the serial killer rotting in jail.
Mila Kunis said herself that Ashton was bet by Danny to french kiss her, when she was 14 years old. Ashton & Mila claim to care about & respect victims, but they don't. They cared more about Danny.
We probably won’t hear the truth about Mila and Ashton until they’re an old married couple, I’m suspicious of the love/hate thing was them sleeping together when she was underage, but they worked things out in secret. It was too cringe to reveal and would’ve ruined the show and their careers if it got out.
You could have added the fact that Donna/Laura Prepon suddenly became a blonde because Laura was filming what became the most hated movie in Canada. She portrayed blonde Karla Homolka, the Canadian school girl serial killer, in the movie Karla. Mischa Collins who portrayed Karla's husband in the movie, later said that if he'd known just how much Karla and Paul are loathed in Canada he would not have done the movie. If you do a part 2 I'd highly recommend including that dark truth.
I watched that movie. I think Prepon and Collins did a great job of playing the characters. I think I should watch it again because I want to see if it reflects the reality of Karla's manipulation of the police to get her significantly reduced plea deal.
I'm pretty sure y'all never seen the movie baby girl. With Brooke Shields not only was she 14 in that. But she also did nude scenes at 14. Hollywood is a dark dark place
@@themirrorsofmymind my mistake . The point I was trying. To make is it was wrong . I wasn't allowed to watch it when I was a kid I remember and I remember seeing it on watch mojo about her being nude
You forgot to mention that Ashton found the girl he was dating had been killed but didn’t tell the cops . He went to a party instead after talking to Masterson .
Right now Topher Grace is trending for not hanging out with the cast is a good thing because Ashton and Mila wrote letters in support for Danny Masterson
i wonder why topher didnt want to hang out with rest of the cast? maybe because he only saw them as coworkers and nothing else. or he knew about masterson and didnt want to be associated with him.
@@tazdolla5590 that’s what I think it is. I like the people I work with. However when I’m done working. I don’t want any reminders. When I’m off, I’m off.
@@stingrey1571 I’ve mostly been the same way all my life from schoolmates to neighbors to coworkers. Just bcuz I have to be around u doesn’t mean we will be friends I’m nice and cordial but I can’t fake relationships/friendships
To anyone that says Topher didnt pal around with his castmates cause of Danny's behavior doesnt really know the details. There are no evidence that support that nor actual reports that would indicate that. Topher has been, on record, report that he was more closed off cause thats his personality. He was the opposite of his character on screen. He was more close to Laura than the others cause he wasn't a partyer or big into social gatherings. Plus, he wanted to take his acting seriously. It was around the same time he was getting cast into big roles and was competing with Ashtin in Hollywood. He had also stated that he was outgrowing the Eric character and wanted to move on. Which is why they sent him off on the secon to last season. He had more roles and saw the ratings slip. So, while people may be more incline to "think" its because of Danny and his case and Scientology, no one knows.
@aljenisperez9740 since you are trying to be pedantic, Roseanne was indeed an American Prime Time show..... ignorance of facts while on the internet with access to the correct information is ALSO dangerous
Its funny that no one picked up Conan's best statment to masterson on his show that was the red flag to cast and viewers of that 70's show. Conan said I heard about you? and one day u will be caught. Masterson replied yeah maybe some day.
And it appears that Topher Grace made the right decision to distance himself, especially once those "friends" (Including the guy that played Red, the dumbass) wrote letters to the judge on behalf of Masterson...
TANYA ROBERTS: While hiking on December 23, 2020, Roberts developed lower intestinal pain and difficulty breathing. She returned home to rest. Very early the next morning she fell out of bed and found she could not get up. She was taken to Cedars-Sinai Hospital, where it was determined she had developed a urinary tract infection that had advanced to sepsis. The body's immune response to her infection resulted in multi-organ failure. She had to be placed on a VENTILATOR to help her with her breathing. Her partner, Lance O'Brien, was not allowed to see her due to restrictions imposed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. HER CONDITION DETERIORATED, and on January 3, 2021, she was taken off life support. *****Oh the truth will one day be undeniable even to those with their heads buried in sands*****
Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher actually seem like best friends, the kind who go through their ups and down with each other... But also happen to be the opposite gender, so parts can mash.
The fact that Ashton and Mila both joke and don’t see the seriousness behind her being so young at 14 making out with a 19 year old Ashton she just laughs that she lied about it and deems it all ok that she, her parents and no one on the show or network did their due diligence to simply make sure she was of age…makes sense why they stuck up for their rapist co star with how they act
I am always iffy on celebs getting me tooed like danny masterson did. In saying that once i heard the sentence from the judge i can only assume they had damning evidence of some very awful things. 30 years murders get less sometimes. What did he do to warrant such a sentence must have been horrible.
I remember one time I walked into a room where a friend was watching That 70's show and I put on my stuff and left before the introduction was even over.
That '70s Show Is One Of Those Fox Shows I Loved watching like Bernie Mac & Malcolm In The Middle but over the years of watching Fox I prefer the Cartoons even though Bob's Burgers was the only cartoon post American Dad to last until The Great North
Its cool how just like real people. these characters who started off as innocent fun loving teens getting baked in a basement moved on to all manner of life paths, challenges and changes
I love That 70s Show with a passion. And WatchMojo are the only people I can count on to tell the truth about this type of stuff....sad as hell about Danny's situation I just knew we would see him on the second season of That 90s Show
I lost track of how many times I've watched that show. Even got my grandma into it. She loved it. I just wish that she was alive for the spin-off. It was hardly the same, but the feeling of watching it with her would have been the best. Sucks that Hyde cast quite the shadow on the series, but I will continue to watch it in spite of him.
So nobody’s gonna talk about that scene with Mila Kunis walking next to the car and it was just a terrible awful green screen behind them in the fake walking took me out
Railroad court got the Hyde man. Crazy how there was a mistrial. Then magically new witnesses came forward for the second trial that for some reason didnt exist during the first trial. Not saying hes innocent, but his guilt hasnt been proven either.
I KNEW KUNIS LIED ABOUT HER AGE. BUT SHE WAS ONLY 14! I WATCHED SOME EPISODES. BUT WHEN I DID. KUTCHER AND KUNIS WERE ALWAYS ALL OVER EACH OTHER. I MEAN IS THAT LEGAL FOR A SHOW TO DO?? 14 AND 19!
"What do you make of these dark truths?"........................... More than 11 whole minutes of a 12 and a half minute video to find a single DARK TRUTH, hopefully this video is absolutely flooded with dislikes
*I love how Danny's wife is right there by his side standing up for him **_until he loses_** and is sent to prison!* Divorce time! She was there to be seen...not to support! 🤣🤣🤣
I think Topher Grace distanced himself from that cast for a reason. After Danny’s recent trial and a lot of the cast sending in character references for him…. There was more of the cast besides Danny that were doing some shady things I think.
