I remember when the Baltimore Bullets had dachshund as mascots. Buckshot was the first head had to be put to sleep after eating too many acorbs, they two then Alex and Tiny BB, then Tiny two. They did stunts like dressing up like Reindeer and pulling a little sleigh. After their trainer died, they switched to hoops, in the team's media guide the said the dogs went to DePaw. The Wizards now have Gee Whiz as the teams mascot.
I actually think hoops and big shot were cool characters because of they're designs, and there was also a character for the New Jersey nets called super dunk, who was a blue Googly eyed goblin muppet creature who was around I think from the 80s until 1998
TORULEZ10 He was more normal than these on the list. The added stripes was a nice touch to the Raptor. At least he's still active with the 905 in the Gleague
