Narutonarutonaruto85 I’m glad they took her out just because in the Original 1001 Arabian Nights Aladdin and his mother have a really weird and really Freudian relationship. So I think she is best left out. PS the Original Aladdin story is so messed up

That deleted scene should have been in the final film, because it already created a plot hole.

Even only four of the ones from the early 2000s were great, especially Treasure Planet.

I definitely remember the song from when I was growing up as well. Now I feel like I need to rewatch the movie to see if they cut it out since then.

I don't even see how that changes anything in the story. It's John Smith saying "I'm about to die but at least I met you and learned so much from you"

blondemoments They cut the song out of the theatrical release and the original VHS tape. They put it back in for the 10th anniversary DVD.

I agree! I didn’t get to watch Pocahontas until I was older, and they’ve always been one of my favorite couples since I was little. I remember watching it the first time with the song, but then a different time the song wasn’t in it and I was shocked and confused! What makes this song even sadder is when they first meet each other the melody actually plays in the background as a subtle hint they cannot be together in the end

what if they did make an evil elsa first they decided to mold the original idea into a ice princess that was good and kind but recovered from her isolated life what if elsa did have an evil sister in which she tried to help but she constantly fights against her for control over the kingdom then a more aggressive and destructive magic user shows up with fire abilities and then they have to team up to defeat him then everyone becomes a family at the end just saying that could have a more emotional and entertaining effect than anything disney could make nowadays

@@m0m055 I don't think she was, at least, not how I define it. For me, what separates outcast protagonists from anti-heroes/anti-heroines is how they react to their situations. While Elsa may lash out in anger or self-defense, she always seems to be firmly rooted on the side of good, never questioning or appearing to consider that she could use her powers to be "a straight-up villain". By contrast, an anti-heroine figure would be someone whose status as an outcast gives them a more gray sense of morality, or a more at times self-serving, opportunistic personality and yet because she's presented as sympathetic, we still root for her. But that's just my two cents.

I totally agree. First and foremost why is it like "not complex" for a girl who had been frightened her entire life suddenly after the "let it go" become all "I freaking don't care anymore" and just go loose? She was indeed already anti-heroine material if it weren't for the "children friendly" environment. To me "let it go" would have been so much more awesome if Elsa became the actual villain or at least severe anti-heroine. The plot would actually gain strength with the concept. I mean then Elsa would have been the first Disney heroine to turn into a villain after Nerissa from W.i.t.c.h and Demona from Gargoyles and it would be the first time it would happen on screen. I so agree to you that once upon a time Disney gave you some chills. Okay Frozen was an okay movie and one of the few originals we saw from Disney and it could pass on some messages there but seriously very few scenes were actually chilling. For example the moment when Elsa is attacked at least reminded somehow of Beauty and the Beast and it had the most powerful lines I heard in the entire movie "don't become the monster they accuse you of!" but that was all. I mean all Disney movies had in a way something predictable in the plots but where are the intense fight scenes like Beast and Gaston the haunting songs such as Be Prepared or My Lullaby or impressive villain deaths and everything? Not to mention that Disney used to dare something back then... I mean helo? Black Cauldron failed because it was TOO dark... "too complex to be a villain"? Well from my experience on Disney the villains are the most complex characters at least on Disney Golden age I mean Scar for example what was he? A maniac who wanted the throne? Perhaps but if someone sees how he was being treated by everyone it made me think of a person. Who said "okay it is a monster they want? Then I'll give them one!" not to mention that his original name was Taka which means "dirt" I mean seriously who names a child dirt? So yeah Elsa would have been much interesting to me if she became the villain and she would reflect more the nowadays problems they wanted to show. I mean how many depressed or troubled teens nowadays tend to turn to unlawful acts because they feel like they've had enough?

Its "If I Never Knew You". They put it in the movie for the dvd in the 2000s. The song is played after the movie but with singers meant to promote the soundtrack. Disneymania albums have some versions of it.

Yeah, you can hear the song in the credits, so it wasn’t completely deleted.

@@MiorPhoenix And now that I know the song and what scene it was deleted from, I went back and watched it. Sure enough, they played the intro to it as John and Pocahontas were talking.

There’s a different version in the end credits, but unfortunately it was cut in the original release which was a crime, considering the melody actually plays during their first encounter as a subtle hint they cannot be together in the end
