@@wesidk5662 Hopefully Ukraine never got S-400 in its arsenal, only second grade Patriot and other American junk. This is the USS Donald Cook, equipped with "state of the art" (so they taught) AEGIS defense system who got buzz over the Black Sea in 2014 by and old Su-24 (very old). The entire crew was so scare that all of them resign shortly after.

These are all modified based on the technology of the Burke class, which is nothing more than the Burke class produced in Japan and South Korea, but they are all weakened versions. The Japanese version can only be used for anti submarine and air defense, and has poor anti-ship capabilities, lacking ground bombing and independent combat capabilities. Its main function is to serve as an anti submarine squadron of the US fleet, while the South Korean version lacks the Aegis function. Although there are more vertical launch units, the radar is a weakness.

As of 2024, 90% of the top Destroyers are Asians. Type 055, Type052D, Vishakapatnam Class, Kolkata Class, Maya Class , Atago Class, Sejong the Great Class . Only 3 Western destroyers, Arleigh Burke, Horizon and maybe Hobart or Type 45.

@@rohitb5834 One reason is that Asian maritime competition is relatively strong, far surpassing Europe; Secondly, the destroyers of Japan and South Korea are actually a weakened version of the Burke class destroyers, and can also be considered a variant of the Burke class, but not made in the United States; Thirdly, with the strengthening of China's economy and increasing maritime pressure, the navy has begun to develop on a large scale. As for India, I really don't believe their technology can be stronger than Europe

@@YEYE-je6ff No one uses a "Weakened version" of a 1980s design lol. Japan and S.Korea officially took the Burke design and beefed it up for the 21st century. Sejong the Great was upto 2 years back, the most heavily armed destroyer in the world. You are probably Chinese, lol. And yeah i have put 2 Chinese Destroyers up there. India's top end technology has far surpassed Europe long time back.
