this video is really comparing apples to oranges, ofc the scripted series is going to be better, the contestants aren’t actually dying in the reality show so the stakes aren’t so high, but if your a fan of reality competition shows i suggest actually giving it a watch. it’s very interesting and the twists that are added make for a great watch-the producers have a great way of showcasing the contestants and growing relationships and rivalries. i don’t think the slander for the reality show is warranted, things get popular and companies find a way to take advantage of that- let’s all stop acting like if we got the call to do the show we would at least consider for our own chance at 4 million.

I don't think people understand this is not replacing season 2, it's a fill-in series. The second real season is scheduled for 2024.

I don't think the point was missed. It is exactly the same as what the Squid Games it's self and mirrored the world perfectly. People get hurt and the watchers didn't care. They are still excited for how entertained they were and awaiting for the next Squid Games. Pretty funny and sad that humans never really change.

I'm enjoying the show so far and hope it does well so these games go once a year. The backstabbing, the betrayal, the novelty of each new game. This show has my blood racing and I didn't even realize the late hour watching the newest episode. Love love love this franchise!

I noticed there are no guns in the challenge season. The guards don't have them and they don't show them in red light green light. I also took notice that when someone is eliminated from the challenge part they are escorted off. So I wonder if they will come back since you don't see them get killed.

I don’t think the point was missed at all, although if there is something I want to see improved, I want them to find contestants that actually really need/want the money. Some of the contestants in the show didn’t seem they needed the money. I enjoyed this show very much surprisingly.

The new one SUCKS BIG TIME in comparison to the original. The new one would not be bad if it was an original show, but is a "remake" of a show that had a great script, some great actings and all the elements for a TV series to remember. Totally disappointed.

It is theater when they speak on camera during the challenges they do it in the "present" as if they were going to achieve it and not in the past where it is later known that they lost, you do that between challenges it is not the same as saying "I believe in this person" that "I believed in this person"

Everyone keeps saying “they’re missing the point of the original show.” Not sure what people mean by this because in my opinion it perfectly reflects the show. People have to play the games but in between the games there are tests that they have to do that gives them tough decisions to make.

The scripted series was great! But the challenge reality series is complete garbage. And it would seem that you have a much better chance of participation if you’re black or gay. Or quite often, both. Lmao, because that’s realistic right?🤣🤣🤣
