Best 10 goals of England. David Beckham, Wayne Rooney, Bobby Charlton, Alan Shearer,... Greatest goals of best players • TOP 10 ENGLAND GOALS O... Thanks for watching! Subscribe for more videos.
I'm an England Fan and been around for most of these goals. There are a lot for more important but I still think David Platts goal is the best (technically) . To have it coming over your shoulder, defenders around you and an acute angle. GENIUS !
Peter me niether i was 14 n i was like that was pure magic. Going 1 nil down to a dodgey pen. Then getting a pen 2 mins later. Owen poped up 2-1 i thought we had it. Then that sly free-kick n Becks off just turned into a nightmare
The Owen goal is awesome but I love the Beckham free kick just perfection. The goal keeper is like WTF just happened, he just stands there and watches it bend into the net..
i think the Owen goal deserves to be at #1 based on the context, he had only just come on to the pitch, first major tournament and everybody wanted the manager to play him! Oh and a great piece of skill
Don’t know about it being one of the top 10 best England goals ever scored but Beckham’s goal against Greece was definitely one of the most important goals England ever scored
thunderchild1083 yeah... by a free kick coming from a non-existent foul. I'm half Greek - half English and will never forget that moment. England did NOT legitimately qualify for the world cup. Celebrating an equaliser at Wembley against an average team that had nothing to play for is borderline pathetic imo.
Harry Paps I wasn’t celebrating, I was just pointing out that if he hadn’t scored it we wouldn’t have qualified. Anyway even if I was celebrating it you’d do the same if it was the other way around cause it’s sounds to me like you support Greece over England, or are you gonna tell me you would rather your team missed and didn’t qualify rather than score and did?
Owen is a Great Goal, but I would put Gazza Vs Scotland at Number One. A goal of cheeky genius, and very rare. Got to say, not many amazing goals overall, and that John Barnes one isn't great at all, he didn't really go past anybody, just ran parallel to the back four. Maybe one or two of Linekers in 86 could fit in here, some good build up / teammplay.
CA VG Hahahahaha, yeah right Kane's goal gets on here. The vid is called 'best england goals' not 'best lucky deflections from a loftus-cheek shot the striker wasn't even aware of'
Why am I saying it's good if it don't get into the top 10. Just because it's good doesn't mean it should get there. And it was a good goal just not a top 10 goal or top 20 goal. Hence the reason I said that.
Jack wilshire has no right to be on this list IMHO. Why isn’t Gerard v Germany in this list? + Gazza should have been no.2 also. Glad to see joe Cole and Bobby Charlton on the list and Owen deservedly at no. 1. 🦁

#2 While I admire the goal, it wasn't a foul so free kick shouldn't exist. England didn't legitimately qualify for that world cup. Sorry if the truth hurts
Harry Paps:...yeah, well with all the shit England have had go against us, we're due a bit of luck!!! Becks in 98 wasn't a red, in fact that other cheatin greasy arsehole who knocked him down from behind should've gone! How's about slimey ronaldo and his playacting for portugal, a first class wInker!!! And Lamps' goal all day long v the jerries which DID make it 2-2, such events alter matches, indeed, entire tournaments (and in some cases turn some tournaments into farce!!!) So don't give ME your bullshit about wat should or shouldn'tve been, as an Englishman, and a quite rightly very proud one at that, I'm a past master at the injustice of bein on the wrong end of a bad decision! The truth DOESN'T hurt ME! I wish it were MORE prevalent in refereeing decisions!!!
Michael Rawson I agree 100% on all those cases. Just to clarify I'm both English and Greek. The Argentina game in particular was devastating. Who knows how far we could've got had we not been robbed... I was 16 and remember literally every second of that game, including that Sol Campbell disallowed goal, which almost made me smash the tv. The reason behind my rant is more self-critical in nature, ie England underestimated the opponent (a team that, although admittedly played boring football, 3 years later went on to win the euro) thought they had it in the bag and were incredibly lucky to get away with it. There's no question which team had more talent and on that day failed to show it.
This list is more like most memorable goals not greatest. That Joe Cole finish was way better than the beckham free kick. Obviously the Beckham free kick was more important but not as good
A free kick to scrape a draw at home to Greece is better than John Barnes running through half the Brazil team in their own backyard? Gerrard vs Ze Germans (5-1!! Get in my son!!) Jack f'in Wilshire??!!!
In the context, yes. Beckham had to score to salvage England's qualifying campaign. The Brazil game was a friendly and their defence let him run through unchallenged.
Wouldn't say top 10 well not all of them. If we're going importance then where's the almighty 66 hatrick goal from Hurst. If we're going on quality then you've missed Gerrards goal against Germany 2001 and Beckham's screamer against Wales to name a few.
