Top 10 Essential Detailing Items For A Beginner | FocusOnDetailing | HD 60fps
This video is directed for the newbies wanting to either start their own detailing business or to become a more fulfilled weekend warrior.
I go over the top 10 tools I believe are essential for any detailer!
Ranging from steam cleaning, vacuums, pressure washers, brushes, lights etc.
I'm sure there's plenty more that could be on here but that's what the comment section is for.
I've been detailing cars for quite a few years now and the tools/items on this list are my most common go to. The ones I just couldn't be without to detail/clean cars properly and efficiently.
I've avoided talking about products as I believe the video would just go for too long and they really deserve a video all of their own as there's a lot more info to be crammed into an upload for that.
There's a lot of talking in this upload so I hope it benefits all you watching in some way shape or form to become more knowledgeable.

Previous owner to my car was a smoker. Car is a 2012 Volvo C30 RDesign with full leather interior. What would you recommend for getting the smell out. To add context, I am the second owner, so 9 years of smoker occupied motoring needs to be eliminated. Thanks.

Another option for buckets....I use ONE bucket for exterior, not 2 (excluding wheels) and get either multiple towels or mitts. This way you carry less, buckets, and no grit guards are necessary. Also, you can reuse whatever is left in the bucket saving money. The idea is to never reintroduce the mitts when dirty back in the bucket and use a wash medium per Panel

Hey, thank you! I don't usually stick to one brand as it's great to be able to choose from a multitude of options. But most of the time I usually get my mf towels and mitts from a site called waxit www.waxit.com.au/

How easy is the neumatic george to go from vaccuming to steam cleaning? Worth the $$$ in your opinion?

The neumatic George doesn't have the ability to go from shampooing to stream cleaning but from shampooing to dry vac if that's what you meant? It is fantastic for both! The suction is great! Just a few change over of items inside and it's good to go. I had a little Bissell machine but it's simply no competition to the George. I do suggest having a steam cleaner as well if you want to go down the road of being extra thorough to remove backed on stains.
