This made me really think.... What IF there are other earth-like planets? We would go from traveling to other countries for vacation, to going to other planets or even galaxies! The universe really is an amazing place.

Wikipedia says of 1991-VG: "approximately 5-12 meters (16-39 feet) in diameter". So I'm guessing he missed a couple of words and it should have been "around six to twelve meters in diameter" - ending up with the plural end of "meters" attached to the word diameter.

I actually have two theories even though they sound incomplete 1.) If there is a possibility that we are in fact alone in the universe, would it be because billions of years before Earth even formed, there was some sort of cosmos wipeout or something that somehow annihilated all of the life forms leaving their planets still stable? Like everything is still there, excluding the life forms. Like how Roanoke was found deserted even though everything looked fine. It was just missing people. We just need to find the remains of the life forms I guess. 2.) Okay, so if we're not alone, and we can't figure out how to connect with other life, we still have created something that can perform and copy similar things to us: AI. Like, technology is still developing and manifesting now, as it grows, it's becoming capable of functioning by itself, without the need of Humans. If humans can manage to develop technology much further for centuries, and the entire human population randomly got eliminated; ai managed to survive; hopefully we've made enough and flourished artificial intelligent robots to substitute us and solve the things that we couldn't do. Also assuming that they'll somehow contact other extraterrestrials. That is, if us humans can cooperate with AI. Basically stating that if we fail to find other life forms, and that we won't be able to travel space, we must trust AI that they'll take care of our plans and expand out to other galaxies. I know it sounds kinda illogical, I tried, but these are my theories >.
In a similar vein I also tend to feel that humanity or carbon based life is the womb that AI is born in. Once our usefulness is spent we are discarded. This was a way for a super entity to seed many, many more worlds with AI larvae and not have to monitor or tend to them individually. They are on auto pilot until the AI births.

I believe in treating people with respect but I think not all men are created equal.. All men should be treated equally under the law. Ive been called racist when I pointed out if you put red pins on a world map in places that were unstable/dangerous, in, war, or just poor. and a blue pin in places that were stable , relatively safe, somewhat prosperous at least. In short , red pin areas are mostly areas with darker skinned people. Even applies to Asians , lighter skinned Asian counties more of the blue pin variety.
