Interior fog has nothing to do with performance. It's an artistic choice to add depth by fading out stuff in the distance, kind of like how things fade and turn blue in the distance outside. Interior fog is often used in movies to separate the background more and add in receiving light shafts through windows and that sort of thing.
Exactly... No examples come to mind right now, but I see mods on Nexus sometimes that are demonstrative of this kind of assumption where the mod author thinks they are fixing something that was correct in the first place.
New, heavier weapon sounds are ALWAYS welcome. I remember playing Halo 4 and felt that weapons like the Assault rifle were actually powerful damage dealers, even though I'm pretty sure it was the same as the majority of the other games, then Halo 5 weakened all the weapon sounds. I know they do that to make the actually powerful weapons distinct from the regular ones, but still it kinda sucks when your gun sounds like a pea shooter.
Yo im not gonna lie. When i downloaded the resound mod i was blown away. I was at Red Rocket when I heard what sounded like a freaking CoD or Battlefield lobby in Concord. It really REALLY works.
Yeah, i was trying to run the community tweaks and it has a lot of requirements and the requirements have a lot more requirements that have loads and loads and loads of requirements. By the end of just this first one i already have a black screen mess that crashes every time i try to open it.
I have a learning disability Oh, it's taken me a year to figure out how to use my computer. 3060TI NZXT build kit. With an i5 11 400. And I have to use Wabbajack Which is a great source for huge mod packs that are incredible. I wish I was able to do what they can do, because I would make a combination of several different mod packs. If I ever have money, I will have someone do it for me, I guess. But I love the mods. I love the fact that it is so much variety. makes Skyrim and fallout 4 whole nother gameplay.
Same, even worse my dad passed shortly before fathers day back in 2015. I hate being reminded of fathers day. Hope you're able to have a good day that day even though .. I'm guessing yours passed away too?
my problem is some of the Community Tweaks Merged has unloreish mods (like the Vault 81 Molerat cure as it completely nullifies the moral quandry of the quest) also there are videos explaining Iganu on a stick is NOT actually iguana.
true ... for that quest i always bring a shotgun or something, and jump on objects, as long as the molerats dont hit you, you dont get the disease . if a companion gets hit you get the disease so i leave them behind.
Thank-Goodness!!! The rebuild all in one option is the rhe mod I've been waiting for! It should've been an ingame option from day ! What's the point of building when you can't even rebuild or get rid of all the trash altogether to build anew? Now we can reuild and use what is provided without it being an undeleteable obstacle!!! Thanks for showing me this!
I've found that the Project Resound also affects mod weapons as well. My Service Rifle and Police Shotgun mods have also been affected. Not sure if others are the same. I'm wondering if the sounds are tied to the ammo rather than the gun. My Service rifle, when using .38 rounds, sounds just as beefy as pipe rifles.
Door animations to loading screens were instant in Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas. But most loading doors had no animation at all in those games.
For the new weapons and stuff that came with the next gen patch to work in the old patch, do I HAVE to download the next gen patch before using the downgrader?
The irony is I already had my game fixed with most of these mods. The "update" just made sure I use my last working mod list forever. Just got to add these new ones to my old legacy game version.
Not to nitpick, but am I the only one that hasnt had issues with either of the next gen updates? Dont get me wrong, what we got seemed like they forgot that they promised an update and was thrown together in a weekend. However, the mods I use still work and I havent had any more crashes than usual.
Does any one know if the Quality of Life Overhaul conflicts with the Unofficial Fallout Patch or any other mods for that matter? On series X specifically.
Say I wanna put a 100 hours in to a new modded Fallout 4 play through right now. Do I commit to pre next gen update and be carefull what mod versions I add or do I wait for a new update to fix the game and add new mods as I play but risk losing intrest if the update takes too long to come?
Most of the necessary mods work fine on the new version. I was hesitant with F4SE but it’s been running great with 50-100 mods. Downgrading shouldn’t hurt at all tho nothing changed on pc
Have we heard bout whether or not the Rebuild collection will be coming to console, or whether such a file would even be feasible on the limited amount of space Bethesda gave for mods?
If youre on Xbox, you NEED project megaton, it basically makes your entire game look like fallout 3, i literally cant play without it. I have a few videos up already
Today when I clicked on mods at the main menu I got a message that said unable to connect to the bethesda servers, and I got the same message when I clicked on creation club.
@@TheA53ford First I tried unplugging the console for 2 minutes and holding the power button after that. When it didn't work I did a hard reset keeping the option to save my games and that did the trick. Had to resign into my account and everything.
Beth game content is dry....... So here is a random obvious Fun Fallout Fact for newbies: Vats is a great tool for aiming. So much so, once you use vats and exit, you get aim assisted. Meaning, you don't need to aim after using vats outside of vats.
It's cool to see what mods are available and such . But I can't even really get into playing fallout 4 . Fallout New Vegas will always be my favorite . The last time they gave us any real quality DLC . Far harbor is the only thing that even comes close in fallout 4 . The only thing that fallout 4 does better is character creation . And since most people play in first person , they may as well be a cigar box with arms . I don't even know why people waste their time making a character if they're not going to play in third person .
THAT'S what's causing the stuttering?!? I was wondering why a game that came out almost a decade ago was having trouble with my modest modlist, when the PC is generations better than what was around in 2015. Unfortunately, I spend HOURS getting F4SE, UFO4P, and Buffout 4 to work on a next-gen save with 40+ hours. Not ready to potentially nuke that character by trying to get the right versions of MCM, Address Library, and script extenders. Here's to hoping a clever modder can patch out that stutter.
It is compatible, it just depends where you placed those plots, also it’s if you want to have a nice clean settlement or a “society is rebuilding” kinda feel in the game
Gave up my first playthrough because of the dima puzzles. Should have gotten the mod first. Guess I'll use console commands. We all just want fallout london, I might as well have just updated by now
I feel like I'm still complaining about this, but the mod problem in the PC fallout menu is still there, so I can't download mods still since I am steam deck player, and don't know how to download nexus mods on steam deck, and can't even get the downgrade mod, so I still want help on how to downgrade on steam deck
I don't know you or your father, I don't even know why you fought. But I know this very well that the bond between a father and a son is one of the strongest bonds, and nothing is worth all the years of being apart from each other. You and your father may not have reconciled until now because of stubbornness and pride. If he's still alive please do yourself and your father a favor and end this story before it's too late. I'm sure your father would love to talk to you again.
I use Xbox so can’t revert to older version: so what do you mean any mods that edit Npcs? Does that include Daks weapons mods? Armor mods? AI? All the above?
does anyone know how to unlock fps in borderless windowed mode in fallout 4? Is there a mod for this? I already tried messing with the game files but it didn't work
I can't believe I ever followed you, or thought you were informative. 9/10 you're wrong, or way off on your assumptions... and the more time goes on, the more your channel looks and feels like a gig job for you that you don't put a lot of effort into.
He is known as JuiceShill for a reason, he praises everything Bethesda, since the pre launch party of 76 in the greenbiar he stopped being neutral in his reviews, god I miss MXR but now he only makes stupid reaction videos with his girlfriend
Yes it is, don’t know why Aurelianis dissabled comments on her mods and decided to leave, she was close to finish what was to be her magnum opus: a total overhaul of hangman’s Alley making all the buildings surrounding it repairable and accesible
I’m on series x, a couple weeks ago fallout 4 stopped letting me access the mod menu, so I can’t update or install new ones. Has anyone else had this problem? I’m trying to avoid uninstalling then reinstalling the game cuz my internet sucks
I have the same issue, i tried it all and couldn't get any method to work. I did find out that if you have an alt account and mod it, it transfers to your main account.
