pls do consider the additional safeguard duty tax which is about 78400 for most mpvs like the toyota rush..which makes most of those cars above the 1M mark..so if you consider buying be sure to ask if they still have a stock unit which do not have the safe guard duty implemented..
@@abelim7044 also take note..safeguard duty tax is paid in full upon payment of the ordered unit..whether it is through loan/financing/fully paid..it is separately paid to the govt so it has to be paid in full and is not included in the loan scheme..

Recently got a pre-facelift Kona with the 200K discount. Equipped with 6 airbags, VSC, and generous amount of advanced high-strength steel it's one of the safest cars you can get for under 1M, though not as spacious as the ones mentioned, its compact size and ample ground clearance, for me still makes it a good all-around car for the city especially for starting families.

The 4th gen is not 'a bit' over 1 million. The 1.5L variant is 1.3M already if i remember correctly. But I agrer with your statement, i have the 3rd gen and i love it. Really hard for me to even consider letting it go.
Don't get the Geely Coolray thou, it is a cheap car and sporty looking but there are issues with its materials, for starters there are report of the Geely Coolray paint is flaking also the seats looks and feel cheap plus there is a small bit of light going through the cover of the sunroof. it may look good on paper but it really is not, about Geely's other car thou im not quite sure since I have not had a chance to inspect them personally, but I completely agree with Mazda.
@@jabe9672 Well, one and a half year satisfied coolray sport owner here. Maybe your uncle is the only one disliking the unit compare to other owners who are very satisfied for having GCR. You are so unfair influencing people not to buy one and saying it is cheap.
@@warrenvelasco4936 well he kinda owns different cars, their side of the family is pretty much wealthy so I don't blame him for being picky with cars since he can easily afford them, what im just saying is compare to other cars he currently ownef and previously owned (since I get to test drive them :P) he kinda has a point. no AC at the back seat and the sunroof really did have light going through them although not by much, its still kinda irritates me when the weather is sunny which since we are in a tropical country it is sunny most of the time.
If you live here in metro manila, choose the one with high ground clearance like Rush or Ecosport. Kawawa front bumper mo sa paahon na parkingan na usual na parking ng mga restaurants.
@@lorenzc811 i test driven the geely coolray. I also test driven the MG ZS(which is almost the same output as the T-cross, the only diff is that MG ZS has a 4 speed AT). Unless t cross is turbo charged, there is a night and day difference with the t cross.
For some reason i quite not the third row of the mobilio im a 5.0ft tall and my feet are in a uncomfortable position, not recommended for long rides, maybe kids will be comfortable for the back seat.
Maganda po sa maganda, you get what you paid for. Konti lang sa daan kasi kadalasan sa casa po ang maintenance niya and iilan lang po casa niya. For example here in Laguna, nearest one is sa sta.rosa po.
