Yes!! I was like this chick doesn’t even know what Ted looks like so was it even Ted that posed as a cop? Makes me wonder the authenticity in the “facts “
! I’m from a small island in Maine, about 30 mins from Bucksport and have been told that legend my entire life - so cool to have our small community represented and shared 🤟🏼❤️ Much appreciated, made my day! • it’s real tho, the foots there, I’ve seen it, Maines and creepy place.
When Lindsay mentioned the Red Room am I the only one who thought she was talking about the one from the Marvel universe that trained Black Widow and Yelena Belova. Even if she had been talking about that one it would still be terrifying as the fact that the Kgb were taking young girls and training them to be ruthless killers would be terrifying
I don't know if its just me, but they do this quite often; talking about one subject, or in this case person, and a completely different photograph. It's pretty obvious in some instances. Lol still love you guys tho!
Hello the thing about the sunken lake was really cool! I would like you to know that they also have a sunken town in the lake in the State of Colorado I live here. It's gonna be up in the mountains the massive lake is still there and beneath it is the town. I think they did it back in the 1960s 1980s, you should check it out. Love your vids.!
This has actually happened...more than once sadly. My friend got a discount tummy tuck in Cuba somewhere? She awoke unable to move even a finger. There was a full sized mirror on the ceiling, so she saw EVERYTHING! Poor girl!
A boy in my 3rd grade class back in the 80's had his untied shoelace sucked up an escalator on our class trip to the Circus. Broke his leg. We were taking the MBTA. I'll never forget it. Absolutely not an urban myth!!
The real candy man was about this guy Ronald O’Brien who put potassium cyanide in the pixie-stix and gave them out the kids in his neighborhood during Halloween…
He was a real piece of crap, because he made them for his kids. Killed his son and his daughter realized they tasted strange so she didn't eat all of hers. All in the name of insurance money. Real piece of crap, to put it nicely.
Yes this was on a documentary CBS he was awful awful man the poor little boy his son really suffered it happened in texas in 1970s he was later executed by lethal injection
There is a true story of a woman pronounced dead. She woke up at her funeral and the shock gave her a heart attack, and then she really did die. I agree with the earlier comments, you could have added the man who laced pixie sticks with poison on hallowe’en or Dean Corll. They are both named the Candy Man. You could also have added John Wayne Gacy for the clown part. I understand if you don’t like scary stuff but, it might be worth getting a book on all the most well known killers (Well known for how or why they committed their crimes) and also a book on all the known serial killers. There is a lots of them. If you go second hand on eBay, it shouldn’t cost too much. I’d lend you mine but I’m in England.
my biggest fear is being forgotten, as if i woke up one morning and walked into my living room and my parents were like, "who are you?1?! How did you get in out home?!?!"
I laughed myself to death one time.... I was super high and was laughing at a show on comedy Central. Then I felt my heart stopped. My body felt like an engine powering down. So when I fell back and my body hit the couch my heart started again it was so odd. It can happen
the shower and thunderstorm happened to a friend of mine, she sadly passed away. there were issues with the shower she was on holiday in a less fortunate country than where she was from and the house she was in got hit by lightning basically frying her in the shower.
30:30 Larry Walters appeared on an episode of _Mythbusters._ There was also a _Mythbusters_ episode about the Leaping Lawyer, and one about the Airplane Toilet Incident.
Urban legends and folk tales are a big part of culture, so yeah I definitely wish we had talked about them in school - at the very least, local legends would be nice to hear about...but it would also be an interesting unit for, say, a world history class, or there could be an elective class about or at least including it. I mean, my mom took mythology in high school. Why not legends?
Hi Lindsay, do you remember the TV sho Myth Busters? They debunked the myth about not using your cell phone while filling your gas tank. I’m sure you could find that episode on RU-vid if you wanted.
The escalators urban legend is most definitely true! This happened in my family, my cousin lost half of her pinky when she was 5 and playing on the escalator at the time.
I never knew about the "hold your breath while passing a grave yard" one. In fact, I used to live right next to one and I never had any paranormal stuff happen to me so personally I'll debunk that one
Excellent topic choice. I do wonder why when speaking of Ted Bundy were you showing images of Jeffrey Dahmer? But impressed to have seen a section on our very own Catman as I am in Greenock, Scotland 🏴
I was once forced to shower during a thunderstorm despite refusing to do so because of the storm. Nothing happened to me, but it was the most tense shower of my life.
14:35 Just so you know, it's not the water from the showerhead that conducts the electricity to your body. It's the cohesive puddle of watter around your feet flowing into the drain that does it.
The whole farting on a lighter thing , my dad did that once and almost set himself on fire. The flame went all the way down his leg super quick and then I think he had to swat it out 😳
When the talk about killer clowns were loose my mom was driving home and a group of people in clown suits were taking pictures of her license plate she recorded them secretly and she showed me and my siblings
@@ChristianTTPD she did call the police but they couldn’t find anything were are safe though has ever happened since that they were driving a van and it was abt four people is what my mom told them
I was sleeping on the sofa when the clowns started happening. We live in East Tennessee. My brother was living in the same house as me. I wasn't home when it happened because I stayed with a friend that night. There was one that come on to our porch and stared in our window around 3 a.m. My brother walked through the house and seen the person. He went into his room and go his machete then went to the window and smiled widely at the clown. My brother is six foot and around 300 pounds. Needless to say we didn't have any other ones show up after that night.
Being stuck in a room is my biggest fear especially a small room. Welllll kinda in quarantined now and i keep having to tell myself "it ok your not stuck in here you can leave in a few days". I love seeing top 10 scary whatevers. Your a great host!
I had the escalator thing happen to me as a child. It grabbed my shoe lace and would have gotten my foot if my father would not have pulled my foot free of the shoe. Made me afraid of escalators for years.
32:23 I thought the story was that the man thought his girlfriend was stealing food at night, but she kept saying she wasn't and that it was him. He set up a camera to catch her in the act to joke about it in the morning but instead found a stranger woman stealing food out his fridge, urinating in the sink, and even watching some tv before skimming back up into the crawl space.
I am the oldest also. I had 2 younger brothers. My middle brother, who was a year and a half younger than me, passed Nov. 23rd 2016. My baby brother lives out in Colorado.
Ahaahha lol same kinda but I'm fostered so my 2 younger siblings got adopted my other older sister is fostered at another home and my other brother is living with my real parents Then my other older sister is living by herself then I live with my younger sister soooooo kinda am the oldest out of the siblings I live with lol
31:10 WAIT! WHAT?! SO YOU'RE TELLING ME THAT THAT DEATH SCENE IN FINAL DESTINATION 5 WHERE A GUY DIED WHILE SITTING ON A POOL DRAINER THAT SUCKED UP HIS INTESTINES CAN ACTUALLY HAPPEN IRL?! OMG!! 😰😰😰
My fear is being in the dark because you don’t know if there is a shadow walking around you or a man trying to kill you while the lights are off. I have had a experience that I was sleeping at the night all lights off. I felt something touching my neck and my leg. And it felt like the AC aiming at my leg and my neck. I cried the rest of the night and I never forgot about it till this day
The man in the elevator is from Houston. I remember when it happened. It was very traumatic for the people that witnessed it... Sadly, the autopsy report showed he had been drinking prior to getting on the elevator😔
When it said ''dont breathe at a graveyard'' it got me scared since when i was 9 my brother passed away and i was at the graveyard evry day. getting water and walking past graves... and i see ghosts sometimes and sometimes i see people i dont know and now im shitting tables
I’m glad you guys are alive. That scares me. I don’t think I want to go onto an escalator ever again. If I end up going to the mall with my mom, I’m telling her I rather take the stairs if they have stairs. I’ve always felt nervous on the escalator.
The ONLY way you can get zapped during a showing/lightning storm is if your house is not grounded properly. No other possible way you can get electrocuted like that.
The elevator one happened to me in a store. I was around 3 years old and was playing with the elevator door for some reason. The doors closed and caught my finger. It didn't come off or break strangely but I did have a big scar.
One time we were going trick or treating when I was younger, and for like an hour there was a guy following us while dragging a shovel. He wouldn’t leave us alone until we went back inside my aunts house. It could of just been a prank, but it was still terrifying.
The "black eye children" story is actually kinda true for me, I'm called "the black eyed child" the color of my eyes are black, yes I still have the white part of my eyes but it looks like I have no color to my eyes
Someone committed suicide or died in an accident a few years back; it happened in my home state. One of my mom’s friends eye randomly popped out; she called the doctor and they instructed her what to do.
The killer clown sightings in 2016 reminded me of when I went trick-or-treating with my friend and my little sister but instead of them chasing us with weapons or just steering the children they were actually kidnapping kids that’s why me and my friend had to go with my little sister normally our mom or dad would do it but we had to go with them to make sure she was extra safe.
I was a first responder in a volunteer fire department in Vermont. The veteran members taught us an important lesson: "They're not dead till they're warm and dead." Turns out hypothermia helps you survive longer in the cold, by directing blood to your vital organs, and slowing down bodily functions.
The cat man is real my friends mother used to leave food for him in the tunnels back in 2014 when she used to work away from the town she’s seen him but people were hostile towards him supposedly so who knows what happend to him
It’s okay to use ur phone while it’s charging usually it happened with iPhones that at around 3 4 and 5 And you have to use the right charger and it can happen if something is wrong with your phone
"The bunny man" Me as a fnaf fan: PURPLE GUY?!!?!?!?!?!? Fear: Seeing a creepy person get closer and closer as I look away or being forgotten (which is mostly everyone's on earth' fear
