Some of history's perceived insane rulers also suffered from this condition, and likely were also self-medicating or being treated by people who had no proper understanding of the condition. Thank God we have much less destructive treatments these days. I have migraine with aura, and they can be absolutely horrible.

A lot of people would react to the chilled monkey brains the same way Willie did, by fainting. Also, this list made me think of the Nasty Patty, also from Spongebob. The only reason it's not on here is because no one actually took a bite out of it. That episode of South Park confirms my suspicions that Eric Cartman became Professor Pyg from the Batman universe.

This is one of the dumbest lists so far. The maggots are one thing, but pizza and bacon aren't going to immediately put you at risk, and it's under debate/study whether microdoses of magic mushrooms could be beneficial to your health. The Cartman one doesn't even make sense in the context of the list, while cannibalistic and gross, the food isn't even the part that would kill you, the character is.

Although disgusting to many, even eating maggots themselves will not necessarily kill you. There's places in the world where maggots are consumed and even considered a delicacy (casu martzu cheese). It's the environment and location in which the maggots are found, and then eaten (like moldy or rotten food), that will likely cause someone to get sick. As well as the fact that flies gravitate to garbage and spoiled food, therefore naturally carrying many diseases.

The foods from Regular Show are all hardcore (even if some are reasonably practical in real life, provided you keep your cholesterol in check). How Benson didn’t get a heart attack from eating two Ulti Meatums at once is beyond me, especially since his blood pressure has to skyrocket from all his outbursts.

You mentioned the maggots in The Lost Boys, but don't forget the Fried Chicken / maggots in poltergeist. You mentioned Cartman's chili, but don't forget Fried Green Tomatoes, Sweeney Todd, and the chocolate pie in The Help. There's the Charlton Heston film Soylent Green. It is my understanding that the flavor varies from person to person. I don't think a specific food was mentioned, but one character died from gluttony in the movie Seven.

In The Simpsons Movie (2007), Krusty calls that greasy burger The Clogger because it has a lot of saturated fat and bad “LDL” cholesterol, which, in real life, can clog up your arteries with plaque, leading to a heart attack.

Monkey brains is a real delicacy … in S. Korea especially in the souther part they used to eat it (not sure if they still do or not). An old roommate (half Japanese/Korean) told me when she was young she went to Korea to visit family and they ate it (not sure if she did or not). By the way the monkey is still alive while they eat it. The head is held in place with something and they use hammers to crack it open. And I thought eating dog was bad.
