You know it just hit me! I know of a way that Fire Emblem Fates could have been the absolute top Fire Emblem game! Remove the child units from Conquest and Birthright, have Revelation actually be a follow-up story to either Birthright or Conquest, like say 15 years later, depending on which path you choose, and have have the children star in Revelation! Boom! There you go! Best and biggest Fire Emblem game ever!

I really like this list, the live action bits were great. I personally would’ve put Suprise Duet on the list. It has a lot of the positives you mentioned about Herbal Remedy, and it’s also quite enjoyable

Also in kana's paralogue, it's one of the few times where corn actually shows an emotion that's actually very very legitimate for the situation, I enjoyed actually seeing him get pissed for once

Finally said it. They are horrible parents. Putting them in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber just to bring them out so they can fight a war. The worst offenders are the Awakening trio, since they already felt the neglect of their parents or lost their parents from the war, so they sort of gave their own kids that same pain in some way. Also, love how you're combining scenes with your real face and your BlazingKnight Avatar. It's a good combo that adds to the video. I've also noticed that you've started adjusted your tone in some parts of the video, in making some of the more subtext talking, like how Nyx is underrated. I really like it, so keep it up. You know, some actually argued that the Awakening clones were not complete clones of their Awakening counterparts, and had some neat arguments about them. Though the presentation kills it for me cause they make it seem like they're just clones. However, I have felt that they aren't complete carbon copies of the Awakening characters, but rather they are the younger versions that are still in the developing phase and not cemented like the Awakening ones. He functions much better there, and it really shows. Yeah, I actually reset the game a few times because I thought I killed Nina. Then the wiki told me it was okay, so I killed her instantly for making me go through such trouble before. Funny how Leo is disapproving of his son's female look when he was the reason Forrest wanted to do it in the first place. Most of these maps are Conquest maps, which makes sense, given that they are more strategic based. But I like how some Birthright and neutral maps made it in as well. Gotta give credit to Fates for some good level design cause they really did succeed in some of the cases where it counts... though they failed in others sadly. Overall good video. Really loved it. Can't wait to see the Awakening Paralogues in the future. And I still hope that you can make a top 10 or so DLC maps. Or talk about Apotheosis. Come on, BlazingKnight, show that you can truly be the greatest tactician of Fire Emblem by defeating Anna!!!

I loved this breakdown! Seeing your reasoning was really interesting because I really didn't consider the freedom of strategies when playing through them myself (It's not because I forgot what most of the levels were, honest). That and even when your opinions differ to mine, you present them in such a way that I don't really see any issue with it. Of all the people I've seen talk about Fire Emblem, I'd say your take on things matches the closest to mine, but the way you go about the list and the small jabs of humour meant that it was enjoyable even if I didn't agree. Good job!

Alright, finals are coming up, so I should probably - *gets notification* ...goddamnit, BlazingKnight.

As much as I hated the Deeprealms(With a passion), the characters that came out of them makes me hesitate and wonder of better methods. Such as having these characters be friends instead of the parent. While it would break some into full rewriting(for Fates? Nooo....) it would have kept the game's identity from being as blended into Awakening. Such as the beast units being good friend/sister/strong warrior of their respective clan. Or Nina being a kid Niles brought to a better home to care for her. Even these sound believable in Fates compared to Deeprealms. I did like a large number of the characters, only a few leaving me uninterested in them or feel uninvested(Like Laurent). Chapter wise it was Forrest for me, I tilted my head as I saw blatant case of being a bad parent(aside from a weeks visit and then bringing them to war). But seeing his map initially intimidate me and feel quite satisfying to break through. Also Forrest is one of my favorite Fates child units and character, so I'm pretty biased here.

Finally this video, been waiting for it, love to see awakening. Love your content, keep it up

Candace is seriously such a funny villain. She’s not even that developed, but she is the one paralogue villain who left an impression on me.

To be fair, I feel like Rhajat was a better character than Tharja, until the localization. She seemed more like a... Better her. More like the sweet, lonely little girl that they hinted at over here, with a little bit of that creepy stalker shit. Now she just seems like a less evil but more passive-aggressive and less doting Tharja. Also I dunno, her support with Hayato actually makes me like the guy unlike the usual. Damn.

Funny that you should call Midori's paralogue gold, when Percy's lets you get your King Midas on and turn your enemies to cash. Which is actually pretty darn useful in Conquest, since your supplies tend to be rather limited.

This video was really good and it switched well between serious and silly/funny. One tip though, maybe tune down the speed a bit because those short funny moments went by so fast I sometimes didn't get to proces what happened.

I remember the first time I played Kana's paralogue It was Birthright and I paired Corrin with Sakura(since then I always paired him with Flora whenever possible) Both were advanced at the time and everyone but those 3 were whipped out and the parents went out on a stroll as it were, killing anything and anyone who got the idea of hurting Kana

The editing will always amaze. I do some editing for people on my own and cant imagine how long these videos take with the zooming, cutting and recording footage. The part of the video where you put the shots fired to Selena/Severa must have taken half an hour on its own for a 3 second clip.

I also really enjoy Paralogue 8: A Great Hunt. I just have so much fun slowly making my way to Kiragi while he picks off the flying units one by one

What I like about midoris map is it's a map from bs fire emblem or a dlc map from fe 12 which shows how camus and a few sable order knights help princess Nyna escape to Aurelis. It's cool you get to be the one chasing the enemy down as oppose to being the hunted

Also i never realized ya had/could visit mitama 3 times to get her i always just visit her once then continue the map and got her at the end i didnt knew that was another way to of done it thats interesting im gonna try that next time i do her map >W> same with Forrest's map i never notice the other ways of entering the map i always went in from the middle slowly and then using a singer to get Corrin up in the hallway were the boss is and let her take a full turn of hits, open the door leading to the back outside and went from there.

What are your thoughts on Shigure? I’ve never heard you say anything about him at all. Not even a name drop. He and Kanna are my favorite children personally. Not sure if you like or hate him. Would be curious to see your thoughts on a child who did play a role throughout DLC and the child of your favorite Fates character.

During the saizo paralogue my first time through, I rescue staffed Asugi to where your characters start and lost turn one and I felt like a moron.

Intresting thing about Odin in fates. When i made him a swordmaster he actually became pretty decent. I changed him the moment i recruited him so he turned out pretty good near the endgame.

My dread fighter Odin in Conquest hard is pretty good. I forged killer weapons to take advantage of his personal and gave him death blow. He crits almost as much as archer Mozu. I also gave him a bolt axe to deal magical damage even though he can't crit with it because his magic is so high.

I have a bit of a soft spot for Midori’s paralogue. You see, the first time I ever unlocked it was on my second play through of Birthright. My first time through I had lost Kaze (my favorite character in the game) to that guide dang it moment, and on my second time through I was determined to find a way to prevent it. I decided to try the Shinjiro approach (at least, that’s my name for it) by supporting with him to a-rank. I decided to go to s-rank for good measure and I was so shocked and happy that it worked, and afterwards I immediately went for Midori, who basically served as a constant reminder that my favorite character in Fates was still alive

This is a bit unrelated but what kind of name is Siegbert? I don't understand the idea behind the name. It could've been Sigmund or they could've named him Sieglinde which would be a neat call back to Eirika's sacred weapon from FE Sacred Stones but Siegbert? I don't even know if that's a real name is it?

You've really improved since the days of "dancers are one of the worst classes." But nah you're doing good work and this actually really makes me wanna go back and play Fates, which surprises me with it being Fates and all. Much love man, keep up the good work..
