Aisling Bea is excellent in the Budapest ep - the most entertaining of all TM's guests. She'd be a better presenter than Richard Ayoade & Joe Lycett, although it's title would need to be changed to Travel Woman.

Why did Richard Ayoade often mention specifically British things to locals which 99% of people outside the UK have never heard of? He's highly educated, so why did he expect them to have heard of The Stone Roses, Danny Dyer & Frazzles?

A travel show should obviously be presented by someone who loves travelling & going to new places. Joe Lycett isn't a particularly good presenter, but at least he appears to enjoy presenting TM.

I thought Richard Ayoade was pretending to dislike travel in an attempt at deadpan humour, but he actually dislikes it & that's why he quit. Why did he choose to present a show which was obviously all about something he knows he dislikes?
