Ji Sung and Young Pyo's time at PSV is what introduced me to European Football. Before, all I knew was World Cup, K League and MLS. After Guus Hiddink took those two gentlemen with him to PSV, I followed their journey as a kid. Eredivisie was much more competitive back then and PSV vs AJAX, PSV vs Feryenoord was a mini war (sadly, the competition is not the same as it seems nowdays). The Champions League run 2004/2005 was such a joy as well.
He was so good at PSV. Looked like one of the top players in Europe when PSV got to CL semis. People remember him more at United when he was very good but more of a utility player, but he used to standout a lot at PSV.
Wow what a maverick player for United during the golden years as well as for Asian football! So great to see his highlights from his time with PSV. you can really see his impressive ability to control and finish the ball with precision rather than just blasting it. A trait he showed many a time at United as well. Thanks Ji Sung Park!

Bedankt voor het houden van onze speler Park Ji-sung. Net zoals Park Jisung in je opkomt als je aan Korea denkt. Nederland doet ons denken aan PSV. Ik zal in mijn hart altijd juichen voor het succes van PSV!
He could score with both feet & had a knack for scoring in BIG games when it mattered! On this top 10 list, I noticed he scored on his right foot 6 times, 3 times from his left (including that memorable one against AC Milan) plus one header. Truly versatile!
