- Whole Lotta Love - Layla - Paranoid - Sultans of Swing - Crazy Train - Voodoo Child - Master of Puppets - Satisfaction - Smoke On the Water - Hallowed Be Thy Name
That backwards version of Black Dog.. well, that was absolutely funny! "Cool riff. Let's hear it backwards!" [riff] "Oh, sweet Satan, Satan, Satan, Satan.." "It's EVIL! This is the devil's work!" That's parodying how Stairway to Heaven is accused a lot of the time of having Satanic messages.
+MetalJesusRocks Weird... I was just watching one of your vids, and then randomly clicked on Stevie's sub and you're the first commentor... Stop following me :|
@Braithan Bailey: it's the emoticon version on metal fingers/devil horns (look at a picture of just about any rock/metal musician, and you'll eventually see it.
Here's a few I was thinking of: -- Sunshine of your love by Cream -- Enter the Sandman by Metallica -- Fat Lip by Sum41 (xDDD!!!!) -- She Hates Me by Puddle of Mudd -- Blood by Pearl Jam -- Under the Bridge by Red Hot Chili Peppers -- Purple Haze by Jimi Hendrix -- More than a Feeling by Boston -- Day Tripper by The Beatles -- Satisfaction by The Rolling Stones
10. Seven Nation Army~The White Stripes 9. Dammit~Blink 182 8. Walk This Way~Aerosmith 7. Thunderstruck~AC/DC 6. Black Dog~Led Zeppelin 5. Crazy Train~Ozzy Osbourne 4. Walk~Pantera 3. Smoke On the Water~Deep Purple 2. Beat It~Michael Jackson 1. Layla~Derek and the Dominos
+Pedro Pessoa shut on the classics all you want, but chances are (judging by the fact you're watching this video) that were probably conceived to that song.
I thought beat it was satisfaction. But really. There is no Black Sabbath in this list? Not only they invented the metal riff, they have some of the best metal riffs of all time...
+Obi-Wan Kannabis They weren't the only one to make metal in 1970 though, deep purple in japan 1970 highway star was an early example of speed metal (not really speed metal but it has the vibe).
I feel like you should do another one, this is really cool. Here I'll even get you started with some suggestions- 1. Cowboys From Hell (good luck playing it backwards) 2. Sweet Child O Mine 3. Sunshine Of Your Love 4. Iron Man, War Pigs, Paranoid, N.I.B. (basically sunshine of your love) or really a lot of different Sabbath Songs 5. Whole Lotta Love, my favorite 6. Stairway, try to keep the devil out of it though 7. Satisfaction 8. Hot For Teacher, Panama, Drop Dead Legs, Running with the devil, any DLR van halen basically 9. Shout At The Devil 10. Master of Puppets, Enter Sandman, Seek and Destroy, Raining Blood, Am I Evil?, any other really good metal riffs
I agree. I appreciate his playing, but I'm glad to focus on his great music rather than try not to look at the ridiculous faces. I'm a happy viewer! :)
+Jonas Lefvert Hey you are the guy who plays all those awesome classic guitar covers (Tristram, Got, Skyrim). I 've actually tried to learn some of them xD
+Julian Worden So he shouldn't have called this video "Top 10 Greatest Guitar Riffs (...)". Because none of their riffs can be ot that kind of lists, they're just average pop punk riffs and the fact that oh my god it was the first riff he has learned doesn't make it any better
+Luck Runs Out.. Every Top 10 Greatest ___ list ever will always have people complaining about it. Unless you want a bland, predictable list, shaking it up a little is nice. I'm saying that EVEN if that means throwing in an "average" (subjective) riff in there. This is coming from somebody that loves both Black Sabbath and Metallica.
You have way too much talent to play these backwards. Very impressive. I’m trying to imagine myself animating an action backwards and I just shat myself.
I just want to thank you for your videos. You are inspiring me to keep playing guitar and learning new things. I've started to gain much more fun playing guitar bcs of those riffs
