Manu Perez I still have trouble determining if that water bottle actually went flying like that, or if it was a trick of special effects or even a string. Still FREAKIN' AM-AZING!
For the people wondering, here are the songs I recognized. 1:04 Chelsea Grin - Recreant (Thanks!) 1:25 Hurts so Good - John Mellencamp (?) 1:28 Hells Bells - ACDC 1:33 You Shook Me All Night Long - ACDC 3:15 Fade to Black - Metallica 3:19 Come As You Are - Nirvana 3:51 One - Metallica 4:17 The Spirit of Radio - Rush 4:22 Eruption - Van Halen 5:12 Barracuda - Heart 5:18 You're All I've Got Tonight - The Cars (Thank you :) ) 5:23 Unchained - Van Halen (thanks guys who corrected me) 6:40 Follow the Signs (solo) - Born of Osiris 8:21 I'll Be There For You (solo) - Bon Jovi 8:38 Some Metallica solo. The bottle kick and the accidental chair crash was worth the watch. And the effects was something I overlooked on my amp. Thanks for showing their different ways that they can be used

I like to have my pitch shifter set to a 4th interval so I can do a dual lead with one guitar. I always like to Djent with a chorus and delay, a flanger, a compressor and a nice, subtle heavy metal distortion.
I stumbled upon this video in my recommended list and then about halfway through the video I knew I had to subscribe to you because you're so goddamn wacky! You can shred and you have a great sense of humor
Omg, that remark about the “brown note” Lol. I almost choked drinking out of a bottle of water ha ha ha dude that was so classic, that was the funniest thing Ive heard in a long time. Love it Stevie lol
Dude, this was probably the first video I ever watched when I started playing guitar. I was around 7 or 8 years old didn’t even know hardly anyone of the songs u were playing but when I heard them later in years I would just think back to the little twists I’d add to the songs lol, thanks for teaching me the basic effects my guy
I thought that the Gangsta Djent from Album of Epicness was just a joke in this video, but I learned today that it’s actually a full album. It’s pretty great and is now part of my library. 🤘
Rimfeldt I think that's what he's doing with Carvin/Kiesel since he owns multiple. Or maybe he just likes them a lot and doesn't have a deal with them. Either way, I'm sure Carvin's thankful.
He was a great guitar player. I really wish he didn't have to die, him and Yoshiki were going to do some great shit about a month or two after his death.
I have been revisiting this video non stop because of ur reaction to djenting on the D string lmfaoo! First time I saw that I like spit my face out of my face laughing!
Hey Steve, Your videos are always jam packed full of information, and lots of silly behavior. You're a very funny guy. I always laugh all through your videos. Keep em coming. Thanks Champ:-)
I have NO idea how I never found your channel sooner! Your explanations are thorough and clear. Plus your comedic relief is a plus dude. Thanks for your posts!
I’m not a guitar player so I don’t know what it’s called but the effect that John Frusciante uses in Throw Away Your Television by Red Hot Chili Peppers is one of the coolest effects I’ve ever heard
What a great educational video Steve. I love all those sound effects. The songs you used as examples were awesome too. Positive Grid should have lots of sales after this video. Good job Steve.
👍 29,209 👎 8,437 ... I bet that _at least_ 8,000 of these dislikes are because of your "funny" facial expressions. Don't get me wrong, because you seem like a really nice person, not to mention an awesome guitarist, and I really like your channel, but after watching some of your videos I have to admit these facial expressions get very old, to the point where they begin to feel directly annoying, which is a shame because they sort of ruin otherwise good videos. I know it may sound a bit harsh, but I am, most sincerely, writing these things to help you, and if you only did them occasionally they _would_ actually be funny :)
I agree the faces are a little bit over board. In some of the videos the faces he makes are hilarious like the ones where he makes fun of lil wayne and Nick johnas but it this video it's a little too much. I still subscribe though. Totally awesome overall
Watching this in 2020 is a god damn trip. I had been playing guitar for about 3 months when this video came out and I went out and bought an overdrive pedal after I saw this
