If you've been watching hockey for 30 years then you weren't watching in the 90s... clearly your an Edm fan, what about senior Gretzky? Or Mario? Or anyone else... macdavids shouldn't even be on this list.

Will never forget watching that Rick Nash goal when it aired. Was in college at the time. My roommates and I all went nuts, I was laughing so hard tears were streaming down my face. We talked about it for weeks afterwards. He basically became Neo in the Matrix, bending reality, it just seemed supernatural.

I'm not sure how Jagr's goal against Chicago, where he deaked out all 5 Hawks in the corner while working his way to the slot and then beat the goalie, didn't make the list. Harry Neale, doing the commentary that night, said, "Jagr deaked out everyone in the rink except for a couple of ushers!"

Crosby 1 handed back hander is impressive, I have seen many end to enders and the best one I have ever seen is a tie between Lemieux vs Minny and Fedorov vs the Leafs. Datsyuk shootout goal was the sickest deke on a goalie I have ever seen! Ovi 1 handed no look was the most spectacular goal I have ever seen. Orr is the most iconic goal!

For people who don't realize this list isn't literally the best goals, it's like the most iconic or craziest scenarios (like a cup winning goal). If it really were the best, orr wouldn't even be top 50

I kinda figured Bobby Orr's goal was going to be #1. That was 1970, 53 years ago. They have a statue of him diving like that, some place. I think they moved it, cuz they rebuilt the entire Boston Garden area. All new Front, side walks, street, entrances, etc. I'll have to look for it.

Missed Wayne’s OT under the bar vs the Flames to knock them out. And Ora’s goal is only #1 for that specific year, not of all time sorry, Ovi or Crosby should have been at min 1-2. Anyway, cool to see so of those old ones for sure.

@@doaftheloaf - lol, the description was inferring the players who scored the OT goals, not gave them up: Ie, “Watch as legends such as Bobby Orr, Wayne Gretzky [and others] showcase their extraordinary talent…” That is totally false advertising in the description. Unless you consider giving up the puck to be “showcasing extraordinary talent”.

Somewhat ironic that two of these goals were scored against the hapless Phoenix/Arizona Coyotes. Why this franchise hasn’t moved or still exists only Gary Bettman would know!

you missed a biggie ,1982 Stanley Cup finals by a guy named Mike Bossy against Canucks . Mike Bossy’s mid-air goal in Game 3 of the 1982 Stanley Cup Finals is still one of the greatest goals you’ll ever see, off both his feet and shooting backwards. this is one of the greatest goals ever. #1 with bobby orr was a NORMAL goal. So blurry can barely tell what even happened. 😅. Just cause it was B Orr so its #1 😂

A bit better research, you are off on your years. At least two were wrong years, COVID didn’t happen until 2020 and you have McDavid scoring in 2019. Crosby scoring in Lehner didn’t even join the NHL until 2010 and you have him in 2007.

I like them all except Lemieux' goal. he clearly invaded the crease at full speed, made contact with the goalie, skate straight to the crotch. That goal is not in my top 1000.

Nope! But it did win the Stanley Cup. Bruins were one of the original teams, when there were like only 8 teams, and they could never win the Cup.

There are some deserving goals here, but long distance slappers that the goalie should have had? The list was supposed to be great goals, not mediocre goals that won games. Bobby Orr dove into that flying position AFTER he had scored. Patrick Kane was in that same horizontal to the ice position WHEN HE SHOT THE PUCK! Speaking of Kane you could make a best ten list from just his goals that would be as good or better than any of the goals on this list. Pathetic B.S. really.
