It's cool that he was a pasudo legendary the only steel psychic one and his mega evolution is cool I wish game freak would make more like him like they don't all have to be dragon types
My favorite Pokémon if only his stats were better spread u would think because he is psychic type the would split physical and special evenly and add more to his speed but nope it makes me sad
@@elianrodriguez7318 I think since he covered Magnezone in the honourable mentions, it implied Magnemite/Magneton in there too since its the same evolutionary line
Same with Magnezone. I know it's technically a Gen 4, but Magnemite and Magneton are from Gen 1 and got their steel typing in Gen 2 when it was introduced.
I always choose piplup when I play in diamond, pearl, or platinum. I also often play as piplup in explorers of sky. You're right, empoleon is super underrated.
@DHRUV YADAV I just personally like it a lot. I love penguins and I think it looks cool. Also, piplup was my first sinnoh starter, so I have a bit of nostalgia for it.
Bryan D Not really. Looks are subjective so I’ll give you that, but it’s a strong Pokémon. Water/Steel is a fantastic typing. You’re weak to fighting, ground and electric. You resist literally everything else except grass and fire are neutral and you’re immune to poison. He’s such a bulky boy.
It’s funny that no one notes how its design evokes a Tokusatsu character. The first time I saw him, I said he looks like a Power Ranger, and so this guy kind of notes a Kamen Rider.
i searched online to see why lucario is a steel type and i found out it's because In the Pokemon world, all living things have aura in them, but Lucario's body is like a lightning rod for it, drawing into its body and flowing through it like crazy, giving it the unique Aura manipulation and sensing abilities it's known for. This is why Lucario is a steel type and categorized as THE Aura Pokemon. just thought this would be helpful for you
As the gen that introduced the steel type, gen 2 had some of the most amazing and iconic steel types there are: skarmory, steelix, scizor and the underrated foretress which I find to be with a solid and interesting design
Also, good choice to start the list off with Mawile, who gains its fairy typing as of the sun and moon release...except it gained the fairy typing during the x and y release when fairy types were introduced lol
Granted, I can understand Mawhile & especially Excadrill because they are great Pokemons. But yeah. Empoleon & Dialga are great too. In fact, alot of Steel type Pokemons been doing great.
Fairy type was added in 6th gen and mauwile gained it in 6th gen as well. Scizor already has the option of having Technician before Mega Evolving. No.1 is deserved although would switch the places for many, my favs are, Excadrill, Scizor, Bisharp, Aegislash, Metagross, Lucario, Magnazone,,Corviknight Dialga, Steelix
Bastiodon, Escavalier, Klinklang, Empoleon, Dialga, Solgaleo, Alolan Sandslash and Ferroseed should also be honorable mentions as well on this Best Steel Type Pokémon List of all Time Too!
Not going to lie I thought it was s legendary...what makes the difference? I always thought if there was only one in game and it couldn't breed that made it a legendary
Yeah well registeel as an idea is cool on paper, but when you use it damn does it suck In fact all of the Regis kinda suck, especially regigigas I feel like I'd like them more if they were usable
@@Funny-iq9bq they do suck, regice has defensive stats despite having one of the worst defensive typings in the game, registeel is the same but it does have toxic stall and seismic toss however its just outclassed in this area by other mons Regirock has good defenses too but once again has a garbage defensive typing and dosent have the offense to make up for it Regigigas just sucks because slow start is trash
Bruhh coriknight is so much better than skarmory stat wise itself. But more to that it has the cool ability mirror armor which makes it a really strong pokemon.
I gonna Metagross he is very cool and awesome I like when he appears in series, games and movies and this Pokémon is very powerful and one of the coolest in Pokémon series
In response to Mawile's entry, it was X and Y's release that buffed it with the Fairy typing, not Sun & Moon. Also, you forgot at least one of the "OG Steel-types" when you mentioned that in #4. Forretress hadn't been mentioned up to that point, and it was around in Gen 2, along with the Magnemite line.
I remember there was a time when I was absolutely obsessed with Pokemon games but we never had the money for a console or the games so I just settled for a pokemon wiki app
My favorite steel type is Aegislash. I would say do a ghost type list. (Or a grass type list. When I usually think about Pokémon types. I focus more so on the type being pure or primary.) But I fear Trevenant won’t be on it. Not only is Trevenant my favorite ghost type... Trevenant is my favorite pokémon of all.
I get that Lucario is part Steel, but maybe the Top 10 should be focusing more on the primary Steel typings since Lucario is mainly known for its fighting typing instead. Think of it this way, are you also going to put Lucario at #1 for a top 10 Fighting-type list?
Jirachi is supposed to resemble a star that grants any wish the owner has. So being a Steel/Psychic type, as in "a unknown object/metal flying through space that grants wishes through supernatural means"..... yeah makes sense.
This is not the first time he has made an error in terms of information on a Pokemon. Gaining the Fairy type when Sun and Moon came out?! Are you joking?! What a disgrace! The Fairy type came out in Gen 6, not Gen 7! Seriously, Ashley, get your infos right!
Darkrai is definitely a badass. You’ve got good reason for that. My personal two favorites are Scyther and Blaziken. But I can understand why you feel that way.
I can't believe y'all forgot they gave us a better Mega Lucario named *Crowned Zamazenta* and I would replace Mega Mawile with Magearna But Here's some Honorable Mentions : Crowned Zamazenta, Mega Lucario, Cobalion, Empoleon, Mawile, Magearna, Skarmory, Celesteela, Mega Metagross, Bronzong, 🌞 Solgaleo or Dusk mane Necrozma 🌚, and DIALGA
