I'm Krissy, I'm a stay at home mom who spends her time playing board games after bedtime.
This channel is named after the board game that got me into board games: Catan. I have been playing board games for a few years now, and even built our game table summer of 2020. Why not put it to good use in a RU-vid channel!

I’m happy to have found your channel. Humble suggestion: maybe describe a little more about the game and why you like it. Maybe mention the mechanics at play and what makes it a heavy game. Cheers and all the best for a successful and growing channel!

I was surprised Mindclash games didn't make an appearance with Anachrony or Trickerion. Love those two games. I have played Kanban EV and The Gallerist, but have yet to play Lisboa. I did back his latest, Weather Machine. I also love Maracaibo and I am excited for the expansion coming soon. ( I hope ) 👍 Great list

Thanks so much for the comment! We wanted to include games we had played to be sure they were right for the list. We have been trying to get Anachrony played for a while now but I'm confident it'll get played very soon! We are also excited for the Maracaibo expansion!

I love Spirit Island Solo because there is no big change. It is fun to learn different characters solo. Lisboa is one of our favorites!

Oh this should be a fun list. Hahaha i love the pushing of the boxes to hide you. I'll have to look at a video for Imperial steam, or as Nic said wait for you 2 to do a review on it. I agree eclipse 2nd edition is number one on my list, granted I've always loved PC 4x games like stellaris, and this is stellaris in boardgame form.

Both of those games are super heavy 4.7 on bgg. Lisboa is probably the heaviest on our list at 4.5. The others are around 3.5 to 4.

Terraforming Mars is a heavy game? I have taught this to people who aren't even gamers. I didn't even bother going further into the list after seeing that as the first game.

Agree terraforming mars is not a super heavy game, for the list i tried to pick games on BGG that were 3.5 and higher. terraforming mars was close at 3.25 and we didn't have enough games to hit the full ten. As for teaching games I don't think a game needs to be hard to teach to be heavy. Anyways thanks for watching the first few seconds and taking the time to leave a comment!

Terraforming mars imo isn’t heavy enough to make a heavy list. I personally think it’s overrated 😅. It’s ugly, the components are cheap, it looks like clip art. And I do t really think the game is anything new and interesting. With all that said I’ll never say no to playing it. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Terraforming mars is definitely a weak one for this list and probably more appropriate on a medium list. we didn't feel right about adding games we have not played and lists need to be 10. We agree on components and the clip art for sure they should have done a better job. thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!
