Great video! Would love to see another video extrapolating each of these industries out to 10, 20 and 40 year marks showing life-time earnings; would be easier to compare with each other over the long term. Keep up the great work!
It would be nice to see a video focused on market-making trading firms like Jane Street, Optiver, IMC, or SIG. Careers at these firms are challenging to get but financially very rewarding. Further, these firms tend to hire math and science majors who excel at poker and logic-based games because these professionals view the world probabilistically! To me, these are the "best" finance-related jobs.
I've always (ina delusional sense lol) thought I'd ve quite good as sales, but I reckon if there are a lot of pifalls in terms of constantly chasing a number and attaching or internalising that number as your self worth. It'd be a tricky one for me to come to terms with. Also, lwyr up, Nintendo are coming for you 😂
long term you can make a lot more but you’ll work more hours. but ultimately you’ll be happier and more successful working in a career you enjoy most so would prioritize that!
@@rathodpooja1996 Apne yaha engineers bhot jyada hai....supply jyada hai jaroorat se...isliye paise bhi kam milte hai aur log mba karke consulting/IB jaate hai...unke yaha woh problem nahi hai.....Bharat me top class company/package ke liye top class college bhi lagta hai (its everywhere) par max log lallu clg se engg karte hai toh tier1 mba must ho jaata hai... For this reason mene bhi tech job chhod diya aur ab mba kar raha hu!
@@chirag_cc That's great decision 👍, You're right about we've more useless engineering/mba colleges which doesn't provide placements after college..Many students do hard work for getting topmost colleges every year however only few get seats, My opinion for them is Go for GMAT/IELTS->Take Risks(getting loan for abroad education from topmost lenders)->would be the great decision in your life for a long term...You're doing MBA now, that's great but In India college is important to get good package...
@@rathodpooja1996 I partially disagree with your last point. College is important in every* country for placements. Do you think in US a student from some pappu shappu clg will be selected over a Harvard/Stanford/Wharton/NYU/MIT student? NO. It's just that in India, we have the concept of Campus Placements! Toh ye thoda convenient ho jaata hai ki clg fodo, placement toh ho hi jayega! I am from JBIMS, Mumbai. We see these same top foreign companies (MBB/Bulge Bracket IBs/FMCG) visiting our campus. They are just following the practice which we follow in our Bharat! College matters in every country dear :)
