Matt Thornton there was pretty much only one episode that he was trying to figure out what the "quality" was, so I wouldn't consider it a running gag. There was the one time when they lose Ben that other people think Chandler and Joey are gay together, but that's about it.

Phoebe do tons of jokes about it, when he tries to get Mr Geller approval has one really good and also tons of moments like he taking the bubble bath, doing nails, choosing stuff too girlie to Monica's taste like the China from a Thanksgiving episode... countless jokes poking his sexuality. The reason why is that on the first versions of the script he was actually gay, but they changed it after casting.

I'm on Ross' side on the whole thing. A break is like a separation. You're not technically broken up, or divorced, but you are already trying to move on. He didn't cheat, because they technically weren't together. In her mind it felt like cheating because she loved him so much and seeing him with someone else hurt so much, but that doesn't mean that he actually cheated.

Yeah technically he didn't cheat, but the reason it stung so much was because he slept with someone else just 3 hours after they fought. For most girls, that is a huge slap in the face and kinda makes u question the guy's true feelings for u, because for us, sex is never really JUST sex.

True, but he was drunkenly reacting to thinking Rachel was cheating on him when he heard Mark was at her place. So I do feel for Ross. HOWEVER, I would also stay away from a guy who was that insecure about our relationship. I don't think Ross and Rachel had a healthy relationship, but maybe it would've been better post-show.

This is why I love Friends. Whenever they add something, they add it back. For example, Marcel. He wasn’t just added in for one episode. He appeared in multiple. The "how you doin’" was repeated in multiple episodes instead of existing in just one episode.
