James is actually shipped with Vivian AND Isabel (from Elena of Avalor)! In my eyes, Vivian has a crush on James but he doesn’t notice cause he doesn’t care for love. Then years later he goes to Elena’s coronation and realizes his love for Isabel!

@@srisri-qd1dg Hugo starred at the "Flying Crown" and "Lord of the Rink". Desmond appeared more than Hugo, I guess, but I can't remember the episode names.

I agree, I even kinda shipped Sofia with Des but he's much cuter with Amber. Desmond is just such a sweet friend and so cute I love him the most in the show besides Vivian

Desmond they'll be okay with because they know he's decent, Hugo on the other hand they'll be hesitant because James known him to be a bully and they think that he will not care about Sofia because he is cocky and a Big Head! Like Gaston off of Beauty and the Beast.

Nope, cause Sofia points that out to Hugo! Hugo: “But there are no boys in the class!” Sofia: “There were no girls on the flying derby team until I joined, but I loved it so much I did it anyway! So you’ll be the only boy in the class?”

I think they're hinting at something else between these two and Amber and Desmond. Sofia is a Cinderella and she brings out Hugo's "I have an extensively long name that I shorten to Kit or Auguste" Charming side and Amber and Desmond have a sorta Snow White and Florian vibe going. James has an Aladdin-type personality so he would get with someone like Jasmine...and Lucinda's adventerous (and not wanting to be a wicked witch, but rather a good one after meeting Sofia) is very much a Jasmine.

Sofia- Cinderella Amber- Snow White Lucinda- Jasmine Hugo- Charming Desmond- Florian James- Aladdin...Wendel's even essentially his "genie" once he cools off at camp.

@@kentucky5896 I feel you. That would actually cause so much drama for a light-hearted show😂. They're cute together and whether others say it out loud or not, I know most of us started the show with James and Sofia somehow but turned away because it was weird and feels wrong😆. Anyway, HugFia gives justice as the OTP, it reminds me so much of Tinkerbell and Terence. At firat at Flying Crown, I was mad that they replaced James with Hugo but I gave in and ship HugFia my very best after Lord of the Rink. Flying Crown wasn't so much of a hint but Lord of the Rink settled the ship to be the one most likely to be canon. I ship James with either Vivian, Jade or Isabel now btw. James is just shippable.
