@@thomashinchliff2173 people always say it would be great if pokemon were real or to live in the pokemon world, but real pokemon with literal pokedex entries would be more terrifying than being stuck in prehistoric times. Beedrill is a 3 foot tall hornet, 4 feet tall when mega with bigger stingers

It always depends on the kind of budget and time given to work on the VFX. Some networks can afford much better budgets for their shows so those tend to be better done.

I think they’re a bit overrated, it’s just a big shark, which we already have plenty of right now. IMO, there are much cooler aquatic creatures out there, like the mosasaur.

It's interesting to see how as these creatures evolved/became extinct, their similar counterparts seem to only get smaller

Mostly due to oxygen levels lowering since prehistoric times, at least for insects. As for other species getting smaller, it’s mostly due to conditions on Earth becoming less favorable to larger species, especially for carnivores, as it became harder for them to find enough food

There is two other famous prehistoric monsters I can name. Basilosaurus while not as big as it’s more famous cousin the blue whale was the largest creature to ever have existed in Prehistoric times being about 17 metres (56 feet) long. But it remains the largest carnivorous underwater creature to ever have existed. The other is Gigantopitecus. An ancestor of the modern day orangutan it was the largest primate to ever walk the planet being about 9 to 10 feet tall.

A meter is 1.09 yards (yard = 3 feet) A kilogram is 2.2 lbs. A kph is 0.62 mph. I know, Americans made it a pain in the ass. When I watch Top Gear (Classic) on BBC, I just remember that 100 kph is 62 mph, Then do the math from there.

IN THE FIRST BOOK, "THE GUNSLINGER", THE MAIN CHARACTER ROLAND WINDS UP ON A BEACH, WITH A NEVER ENDING OCEAN IN HIS PATH.. he sits on the sand until all of a sudden the tide starts coming in and he notices these Lobster like things that are crawling all over the beach. Well needless to say he gets attacked and he loses two fingers and toe before the experience is over and it's not pleasant!

clouded leopards are considered a "semi-saber", meaning they are somewhat related but are more a subcategory of species and not fully related to smilodon. So, while they are a little bit closer to being related then most cats, they still are pretty distant.
