Great list! I had 6 initios at one point but ended up with just 3. Absolute Aphrodisiac, Side Effect and Psychedelic Love. Honestly have been thinking about repurchasing Rehab though 😅. Need to sample Musk Therapy!
Agreed oud for Happiness is not great, I get bad feed back when I wear this. I do mix oud for greatness with absolute aphrodisiac. Using greatness as a base, just a few spurts as it’s strong, then over lay absolutely aphrodisiac with around 4 squirts.
I am a huge fan of PdM, indeed Rehab is amazing but not like Layton, I would say it is a mix of Pegasus and Herod, and a niche version of Spice bomb....anyway, for some reason Initio fragrances are too feminine for me, I think your top two are considered for women, so I haven't try them yet...
Oud for Greatness is the most overrated fragrance I've had my nose on..I still have a few decants that I haven't even gone through..I do like Side Effect and Rehab..haven't tried everything but I was disappointed with the hype beast Oud for Greatness on my skin smells almost like I was standing around in a kitchen..I don't know maybe just smells like that to me up close I don't know..was looking forward to it be great
@@aloosh3713 Tom ford… but they been let down lately. Creed has a handful of winners. Memo Paris is very good. Nishane has some winners. Big fan of kilian though expensive. Mfk is overrated but I do like grand soir Dior is a great house Pdm is good. Initio just haven’t found anything outstanding. Xerjoff doesn’t do it for me either.

I’ve sampled most of the Initio fragrances but have only fallen madly in love with and bought two - Absolute Aphrodisiac and Musk Therapy. In that order!

I love Rehab but on me it sits very close to the skin and the longevity doesn’t last more than a few hours- especially contrasted with how strong most of their other fragrances are. OFG, Side Effect and Blessed Baraka are great and in my regular rotation.
Maybe you should try Spicebomb Infrared instead if you haven't already. It smells like Rehab but more intense. I'm certain it has the longevity you're looking for.
Addictive Vibration Musk Therapy Magnetic Blend 7 & Atomic Rose are their best summer weather offerings at the moment. I never realized how much addictive vibration & Atomic Rose were feminine fragrances when I tested it in May June Bc how well it performed on my skin & white Tees but as it got sticky hot & even as it cools down in New York right now the sweetness started to pop on my skin & now I don’t like either one at all
I started out with Oud for Greatness, then tried Side Effect, Atomic Rose, Rehab, Musk Therapy, Absolute Aphrodisiac, and Blessed Baraka, but ended up settling on Atomic Rose. It is a very sexy erotic and exotic scent. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves hyper feminine perfumes. I have not smelled Oud for Happiness, but most reviews are underwhelming, so maybe no point.
I’ve got quite a few Initios. Atomic Rose, Side Effect, Rehab, OFG, High Frequency, also an under the radar one which I really like - Addictive Vibration. For a night out, I prefer it to Baccarat and I think I like it more than Layton. Very uplifting feel good scent. Smells fantastic to my nose.
I bought 1 ml testers from a few of these, because of your reviews! Then I ended up buying the "Absolute Aphrodisiac", the 90 ml one. This.....lives up to its name!!! A real aphrodisiac! Incredible scent! Srry I barely use english so forgive my mistakes. Yeah so appreciation for your amazing videos, Sebastian!
My favorite is Musk Therapy. It's a great scent but lean a little more feminine. So what I do is layer it with TF Oud Wood and the result is absolutely gorgeous.

I also don't find Magnetic blend one to be very animalic which is interesting because I usually can't tolerate them. Amazing house, appreciate the review, it was fun to see your picks!
Unfortunately Initio entire line is an absolute overpriced synthetic disgrace. Absolutely nauseating sugary mess of a smell of Side Effect, name speaks for it self. The side effect of smelling this is barf. Tobacco? Grizzly bear won’t be able to figure it out let alone one of us.
Absolute Aphrodisiac is incredible. My friend had a sample of a dupe which we smelled together. I loved it, so I ordered a decant of the OG and was blown away. I just bought a bottle of Tom Ford Vanille Fatale because I heard it’s been discontinued and it has been my favorite vanilla, but now I think I might prefer Absolute Aphrodisiac 😬.
I know musk therapy definitely makes more sense to wear in the heat. However it’s also really nice at night , it’s calming and it relaxes me and it’s performance is good enough to cut through the cold. Musk therapy is heavily slept on because it doesn’t get the credit it deserves
Dear Sebastian I have a bottle of Oud for happiness however the bottle keeps leaking after the initial spray, do you have any advise on how I could contact initio parfums on this
My favorite local perfume shop is called Etiket, in Montreal Canada and they just recently added Initio to their collection of fragrances, so I've finally had the opportunity to smell them all (except Oud for Happiness because they don't have it yet). They give me free samples of whatever fragrances I want to try on skin and I've got a bunch right now but haven't had the chance to try them all yet. So, far though, my favorite is Atomic Rose. I think it's one of the best rose fragrances I've ever smelled and I'm a huge fan of rose... so that one wins. I have samples of Side Effect, Blessed Baraka, Rehab, Absolute Aphrodisiac and Oud For Greatness that I still haven't tried on skin yet, so my # 1 may change.
One of the best niche perfume brands imo, I believe it is really underrated house. My favourites are Musk Therapy, Side Effect, Blessed Baraka, Oud for Greatness.

I smelt most of them and was between psychedelic love and absolute aphrodisiac and for some reason i went for psychedelic love, but then immediately regretted the purchase as it’s too heavy it gives me headaches.
I’m really having a hard time getting use to you as “The Perfume Guy” it doesn’t have as much uniqueness and pop as “Smelling Great Fragrance” . But I understand it was a brand decision. Keep up the good work
People just see the price tag and think its quality because its high priced... i agree i enjoy the smell of oud for greatness but it is not worth 200 or 300 dollars... these should be 20 to 50 bucks imo. I have a decant of absolute aphrodisiac and it is nice but to me having a 5 or 10 ml decant is more than enough .. nothing from this house is full bottle worthy.. sorry🤷♂️
I enjoy your top 2 but I would reverse them. But both are excellent on me. The rest seem a bit masculine at least the ones I tried. Pricey house but if I enjoy a fragrance I will definitely pick up fragrances from them.
Initio is one of the houses I quite enjoy. Really good offerings with great performance which is a + @Sebastian you were sleeping on Absolute Aphrodisiac! 😊Glad to hear you are enjoying it. I love my vanillas dark, spicy and complex and this fits the bill. Lune feline is another good one. Great video as well!
I feel like Magnetic 7 and Musk Therapy would normally to be my favs from this house, HOWEVER, Absolute Aphrodisiac made me really appreciate vanilla, so it's my top pick. Lots of beautiful fragrances from this house though, you really can't go wrong.
My favourites are Rehab, Oud for Greatness and Side Effect in that order. I also have a sample of Musk Therapy and like it too but its more for Spring/Summer so waiting until next year to fully test it out. Going to order samples of Blessed Baraka (the notes intrigue me), Absolute Aphrodisiac (based on this review although apparently it leans more feminine) and Oud for Happiness (which seems to be getting mixed reviews so far, some great, some not so great). Rehab is definitely my favourite. The smell is very addictive, to my nose a dry tobacco and cinnamon smell (similar to Spicebomb Extreme) despite neither note being listed on Fragrantica.
Total noob here. How would you compare Blessed Baraka and Absolute Aphrodisiac? They're similarly priced, and contain vanilla, but what makes them different
Musk Therapy is the only one I have sampled and it’s very addicting to smell. It’s on my list to buy a full bottle soon for the summer time. It’s so much more than just a “clean skin smell”.
I haven’t been a fan of this house. I makes the mistake to blind buy musk therapy and had to sell it at a loss. It made me nauseous. Sampled both oud for happiness and greatness and wasn’t impressed either. Debating on buying a decant of Paragon as I love plum scents but not sure Initio will do it justice

The more I hear about this House, the more I am freaked out. I do not like to even read the notes of these combinations 😱🤢. And as they are related to the PdM, that's one more reason, because I don't like PdM 😐 So I skip this House, thank you very much.
