+Joshua The Canadian That's the game that got them into the scene. And then they kinda exploded with Super Crate Box (being free on Steam). They were already very respected and well known once they launched Nuclear Throne, which I guess is their most famous game?
Still a lot of good games Subway surfers Clash of clans Clash royale Pou PvZ Agar.io Jetpack Joyride TempleRun2 Mobile gaming is even better! How could I forgot Hill climb racer
Pocket God sure had its day, didn't it? That was my favorite mobile game throughout most of my high school years. It was fun getting it at release and watching it grow from there for the following two years or so.
(I truly find this game, “www JustBonlo” (Google it) incredible. After downloading this game, I introduced it to my buddy and played with her. Right after she got the hang of it, she would not put the game down! I recommend this game for you, thinking about I had a great time playing it too!

Aye! What happened to Expansion packs, instead of DLCs? What happened to One Purchase, One Game? What happened to time and skill instead of credit cards to get the things you want? Say Nay to Mobile Gaming. Get games with gameplay beyond tap, swipe, pinch and hold. Hell, its time for the DS's, the PSPs, the Vitas and Gameboys to rise once more.
+utubrGaming you know what has also changed, remember when you could put in cheat codes for free? Now it's Micro transactions to get big head mode. It's a joke.
+Hero Revolver however not even the mobile market was always like this. Lets look at the games in question: the first angry bird? No Microtransactions, just fun. The First temple run? No nigh infinite lives for real money. Candy crush and clash of clans? Didnt exist in the appstore in those days. You paid 79 cents for a game and you had FUN. Mobile gaming could be different...it just isnt. However there is still a lot of very good mobile games out there, you just have to know what to look for as they will never appear on "most popular". Also I wouldnt put mobile gaming at fault for gamings demise. Do you REALLY think noone would have come up with DLCs and microtransactions if mobile games werent there? Hardly. And broken games were around since the early days, look at ET. I agree however that it is worrysome to see how popular games can be and how rich they can make their developers despite being unfinished, riddled with microtransactions and/or DLCs.
I have most of the games on this video, I have: -2048 -Cut the Rope -Plants Vs. Zombies I'm gonna go with Flappy Bird because I have "Flappy's Back" -Fruit Ninja -Candy Crush -COC -Temple Run -Doodle Jump -Jetpack Joyride -Angry Birds
+Armando Lopez Unfortunately, "popular" and "best" aren't the same thing. I love VG and think its probably the best iOS game, but I would hardly say its popular, only because most mobile gamers are way too casual to pick up a game like it.
The popularity of Flappy Bird was kinda ridiculous. I'm sure there are plenty of other examples but there's a really old game on Neopets called Volcano Run where you do exactly the same thing.
+Buc Whovian well if you have no idea on how gravity works and think it's like rolling a die, then yes, it does depend on luck. but if you look at the levels and position the bird in a way based off the level, then it's skill and not luck...
Reasonably Reasonable Videos It's got nothing to do with how the gravity in the game works. I've played the same shot many times and keep getting diffrent outcomes, that's not skill that's luck.
+WatchMojo.com Since I'm a huge dinosaur nerd, can you please do a "Top 10 Dinosaur Video Games" video, a "Top 10 Fictional Dinosaurs in Video Games" video, and a "Top 10 Dinosaur Documentaries" video for me?
Why focus on IOS? Because it's the most overpriced and locked down system on what amounts to be underpowered devices and a frankly bloated operating system? Or is it the kickbacks from apple?
Mobile gaming is so shit nowdays. It's either they try hard to make you pay even though the game is so shit and rushed. or you have to wait till you fill the indicator with energy or buy energy. This shit can't get worse!
I'm sorry, but clash of clans SUCKS. Within the first five minutes it gave me a WEEK LONG WAIT TIME. And the micro transactions WOULD NOT LEAVE ME ALONE. These issues plague a lot of iOS games, I know, but to top it all off the gameplay is boring and repetitious. **grabs popcorn and waits for angry replies**
I've never even heard of number 9, yet Doodle Jump, Jetpack Joyride were only honorable mentions. Wtf? AND YOU COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT SUBWAY SURFERS!! This list is ass, a lot of things should be placed at deferent spots.
Subway Surfers, Dot Wave, The Piano Game, WWE Suoercard (just my favourite), Back Flip Madness, Minecraft, Telltale Mobile Games, Marvel Contest of Heroes, Geometry Dash, The ice Cube flick in a crack game. That's my top games not in order though ;)
What the heck??? Wheres Minecraft PE??? Five Nights at Freddy's?????? Grand Theft Auto San Andreas???? Scribble Nuts???? Happy Wheels???? Slender?????? NONE OF THE GAMES THAT IS POPULAR IS NOT IN THERE??!!?! SERIOUSLY WATCHMOJO?? BUT I STILL LOVE YOU RU-vid CHANNEL WATCHMOJO!!!! :))))
The Blade Franchise is the best example of how micro transactions ruined the mobile gaming scene. The first Infinity Blade game had stunning graphics for its time and had extraordinarily well suited gameplay. It had no micro transactions. The second game was damn near perfect with its voice acting, beautiful graphics and gameplay. It had micro transactions but buying those would actually ruin the game by making it too easy. The third one came in a time when Free to Play titles were making that $. The makers bowed down to the system and introduced a premium currency and a micro transactions system that, while it didn't ruin the game, was completely unnecessary from a gameplay standpoint. Unfortunate.
My original thought for # 1 was Minecraft PE because it's been number one in the best paid games spot in the app store for a really long, really long time........but angry birds really??? I also assumed COC would be # 1 if Minecraft wasn't.
Uh, hello? Geometry Dash? Not even an honorable mention? What the fuck even is Ridiculous Fishing? Come on WatchMojo! I would say you're better than this, but we all know that it's not very polite to lie.
Why is this list about iOS games and not Android games? You could have just called the video "Top 10 Insanely Popular Mobile Games". What you have just done is platformist.
BTW Dragonvale was the original iOS top down resource games that spawned a bunch of games like my singing monsters and dragon city and I think you should make a top ten Amazon app store games and put it near the top and if you agree like
Virgin pc and console games that ported into mobile devices that people consider it as a mobile game Chad mobile games that first ported into mobile devices and are actual mobile games
