Jinjer rules! They made themselves, no promotion, only through their perseverance. For me, "Cloud factory" is their BEST album. Groove, agressive, interesting riffs + smart, straight lyric. Solid work.
Welcome down the rabbit hole :D and I guess you "didn't know" before hearing your first song, yes, Tatiana is awesome ;) (and all of them are monsters!)
Got to see them live and take part of the meet and greet on their North America tour in 2019. Best concert I've ever been to by far and they were incredibly humble and nice people. Awesome that they also had their headliners as female front bands (Sumocyco and a local band from NC The Browning). Favorite Metal band without a doubt now that suicide silence hasn't been the same without Mitch. Prayers for Ukraine and lots of love for JINJER
Alternative title: Riffs from 10 Jinjer singles. There's too many amazing ones in their albums to count, especially Wallflowers, but this is great playing and display of the band regardless. Good video!
Literally all the way around, every member of this band is fucking badass dude. Unmatched imo. And you’re damn good for learning all this!! This is sick!! 🤘🏻
Yeeeeeeaaaah 🤘🔥 One of my favorite bands ever, so many banger songs! Hope they all stay safe and get out of war soon and that we'll soon hear them back live!
YES! I was waiting for this video. I learned about them last year and I fell in love completely. Such an amazing band Also I would love to see a top 10 Skindred riffs
well played, good tone dude ! My favourtite motif is 6:32 Roman really is a master when it comes to writing addictive dark riffs that are technical yet so groovy and fun to play... For anyone who wants to try Roman's guitar riffs, Tune your guitar to drop A (14-68 d'addario gauge strings on a baritone 27" is what he uses), pick hard, don't dial too much distortion, and pay attention to note accentuating (use downtrokes for power, upstrokes for bringing snappy notes on the octave string)/ Have fun :D
Our dude here was using a pitch shifter on "normal" strings. Before Roman got his OD(s), he was playing drop A on a 25.5" for the entire King of Everything album, I found the 0.068 a bit too floppy for my liking on my 25.5". I built a custom set from Stringjoy for drop A on my Fantomen and prefer them over Roman's 14-68 gauge (which I tried out for years): 0.0135, 0.018, 0.026, 0.042, 0.054, 0.080. Not to sound like a Stringjoy salesman, but anyone who hasn't tried them, check them out. They have a string tension calculator.
@@oksen4214 Yeah, they sound and feel great. They make a 0.074 and 0.072, but I wouldn't go lower than that for 25.5" and maybe a 0.052 or 0.050 for that 5th string. Getting them to fit is a different story. When I went with 14-68 initially, I had to file the nut slots quite a bit. I tried them on a different guitar with a Floyd that has a V shaped metal nut, so I don't have to file that down and they fit without mods. With the even bigger set, I had to file my nut even more and even drill out the tuning pegs ever so slightly.
All of Roman's riffs are fantastic. You can tell he is still improving too based off the latest album. I'm surprised to not see any of those songs on here
Probably just a matter of personal taste, but I felt a serious lack of Micro, Macro and Wallflowers in this video. Dreadful Moments, Ape, Noah, Home Back, Teacher, Teacher!, The Prophecy, Vortex, Call Me a Symbol, etc. But it's awesome!! I love when other people give love to my absolute top 1 favorite band. I love Jinjer
Vermillion 🤘 , as always you rip it off Guy !! You just Fuucking Killer 🙏😎 , you play them wickedly well and you've the sound you need , Clean, Precise and Explosive !! Like a Fuckin' Explosion in our Face !!!
Awesome playing, really highlights Roman's incredible skills and songwriting. I can tell Pisces is a song that needs 100% perfect intonation. I think that's part of why Jinjer doesn't often play it live. Even Roman's guitar is often out of intonation on that main verse chord, sometimes badly. Same thing here, though not too bad. It's almost as if you have to intonate the guitar especially for the high chord.
The only band Jinjer sometimes reminds me in the style these riffs are sounding/grooving is really Lamb of God. Imo you can feel that Roman listened to a lot of LoG, but still the riffs have a unique Jinjer sound
That is so cool. Roman is a phenomenal player as is everyone in the group. Love that band so much. Right from the first time I heard them. I had never heard anything like them before.
