I am not a toy expert, but I am an enthusiast. I have enjoyed toys for decades and buy them mostly for myself. As it is an emerging market, especially with the expansion of the AFA grading service, I am looking into it a bit more closely. This video series is my weekly look at different subjects within the Toy Market.

The Supermobile is for when Supes travels to Kryptonite irradiated areas and solar systems with red or orange suns where he would be powerless or half powered respectively. Also, the vehicle is meant for long distance travel for when the extra air in his lungs would run out in deep space. Contrary to a "know it all toy blaster," Superman traveled via mapped out wormholes, but at times the jaunts were extended into space.

I had a lot of these. My favorites were Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, and Hawkman. This was surprising as these weren't my favorites in the comics - the toys were just that good!

I am from Uruguay, and I collect 4 lines, Kenner, Estrela, Pacipa and Playful, I started collecting them in January of this year, and I fell in love!!! Luckily I already have 4 figures, one of the most expensive, 1 Cyborg Estrela - Brazil 2- Cyborg Pacipa- Argentina 3- Playful Riddle - Argentina 4- Pacipa Riddle - Argentina

Hi! I believe that the slim cards were packaging made to sell the figures in gas stations towards the end if the distribution of the line.

The details were bomb. Superman's sleeves were a tad short just like in the comics. However, the molding across figures were off at times. The sides of the torsos were at time unsculpted and so were the legs of certain figures. Other times, characters were way too ripped like Dr. Fate. As for scaling, they were scaled according to the official sizes of the characters in the comics. Robin was short, Flash was small built (but those forearms!), but Hawkman was accidentally bigger. I have a theory about Golden Pharoah. He vaguely resembles Highfather and his origin does connect him to the New Genesians to boot. So, he may have been a stand-in for Highfather.

i had heard about the Riddler, which is cool, even though i never got it, but i had not heard or seen the figure at 21 min and 17 seconds, that's Solomon Grundy, one of the members of the Legion of Doom !

i never got the Mr Freeze figure, that art on his board looks like it's Lex Luthor in a different power suit. and in the Batman animated series, Mr. Freeze's head was white? like pale white? like salt and sugar that white

Look at the Lex-soar 7 and you will understand why Superman had the supermobile. Superman was defenseless against kryptonite. The Lex-soar 7 was created to use kryptonite as energy, and drop kryptonite bombs. The Supermobile was lead shielded, which protected Superman from it's effects, and could pick kryptonite up in order to dispose of it. The Supermobile wasn't built for Superman to just fly around in. A good example of a useless vehicle for Superman is the Justice Jogger, but the Supermobile was a necessity against Luther and the Lex-soar 7.

I think that the Canadian/International/duel french&english print card back if actually generally less desirable and therefore usually always cheaper.... So if it was a Canadian card back that's surprising.

P.s. You CAN pop Hawkman's wings right back on.....if you can find them! Haha I've seen SOOOOOOO many Road Warrior Hawk..........Man figures averaging roughly $3 because.....they all have bizarre lumps on their shoulder blades....some strange avaian back cancer....poor guy!!! He's always hanging out with Armor-LESS Lex Luther in $1.99-$4.99 per figure bins. I personally lost the wings to mine and I CUT his Devil-smoltering-angel-Wing-Nubs!!! I didn't have Pharaoh BUT I did have Shazam, Mr Miracle, Orion, Dr Fate and Cyclotron....oh and Freeze.... both Kenner&Toybiz. I def didn't have Cyborg. Pharaoh, Mantis and Tatsumi Fujinami in that ugly green 70's sweater.....I had a Toybiz Riddler....but Hal Jordan he was not.

@@pelicanphuucker4life Yeah I popped Hawkman's wings and tried to glue/tape them on a custom Archangel figure when I painted an extra Daredevil Secret Wars fig I had. haha
