Don't be fooled by these numbers. It's nominal GDP not per person. In reality every person in India will be poorer than today if we don't focus on basic education, skill development and productivity instead of religion and division based politics.

Approximately 13 times our country economy size increased irrespective of religion based caste based corruption based politics. Seeing this past 37 years journey of our economy and based on current growth our economy will definitely be 12 times bigger after 37 years than on today and I again pray to live beyond 2060 to see our country in top 2 position.

Tbh, I believe India won't reach 45B by 50, but somewhere between 55 and 60. But it doesn't mean India can't surpass the US. US economy is also not going on a good track. Their ministers are saying that they would break if they won't take more loans as the US has already taken loans worth of 31.4T USD which is the limit set by Congress. Even though on the surface the US looks fine since no Western media talks about such topics, the USA has its economic problem. China also has its problem, its economic growth has also slowed down too. The prediction is quite old and from current scenarios, China won't be able to surpass the US by 2030. It would likely be somewhere in the early or middle 30s

According to 2 surveys done by the World Bank in 2023, India's poverty rate is below 10% and its extreme poverty rate is below 1.5%. Yes, it is still 140M people but it's not like we would be able to take care of that in a single year. Most Indians lie in Lower Middle-class income. There is a difference between them and for the next 10 years, India would have most shifts from the Lower middle class to Upper middle-class income. No one knew what China could do 30 years before. But its economy bloomed and it would surpass the US within the next 10 years. Yes, it would take time but our economy would surely surpass yours.
