Sophie Ellis In terms of the movies, he's one of the villains in Marvel movies that has been done well. Some of them aren't as interesting and aren't as fleshed out as well as Loki is. So it's really natural for us to like him a bit more.

I think they were trying to stick to more comedic villians or less serious ones anyway, Hans landa was one of the people who came to mind when I thought of likeable movie villains, cause he's someone you should hate and who you can tell is a guy you shouldn't mess with, but you can't help but laugh at and find hysterical. I end up in stitches every time I watch the "that's a Bingo" scene.

Not really. Its a mythic critter in this case a well defined Europeon one that is defined by specific characteristics. Dragons have four legs and wings, wyverns have two legs and wings. By the logic you are suggesting I could take something random like a rabbit and say its a dragon because its my opinion. Similarly a cyclopse has one eye its part of its defining characteristics. The fact it does not actually exist does not change the elements that make up what it is.

Leon Evelake Wyverns are also classically viewed as much smaller cousins to dragons, that are not fire-breathers. They are closer to the idea of a horse->elephant sized flying lizard than a hill sized magical being. Face it, even in the movie Smaug was a dragon. There is more evidence towards dragon than wyvern, you're just basing it off of a few missing appendages, which is dangerously close to imitating politics, quoting an insignificant small sample that is biased to make you sound smart.

Its like calling the dinosaurs in Jurassic park velociraptors when they were really Deinonychus. It drives me nuts. As to whether Wyverns can breath fire I have read stuff suggesting they can and cant. And in regards to size I dont think I have read any set size distinguishing the two beasties I have seen old timey pictures where dragons look horse sized (not sure if scale was intended) and one description from the 1500s mentioned a dragon being four feet long and John of Damascus a monk of the 700s described dragons anb being large reptiles completely non magical. being that dinosaur and other bones are thought to have fueled their myths I assume most were thought to be the size of natural creatures. My point being size here probably does not matter as accounts of dragon size varied massively. I have seen no pictures of Wyverns where size could be compared. Granted from what I understand they are mostly depicted in heraldry. But hey if you have some nice sources about it that describe how people saw them feel free to post them. I am always happy to read more about it.

I found the Raptors more menacing! Their leader knew how to plan the pack to catch their prey, but like all the Jurassic park residents, she too, were animals just doing their thing... If not, cats would be the greatest villain (besides humans, of course)
