ToG will always be #1 in my heart, I remember the day I first discovered it back when batoto was translating it, I was in the middle of a break in between classes at college, read like 10 chapters and when it was time to go to class I said "fuck it" went home and binged the like 60 chapters that it had. A lot of my love for ToG comes from the extra tidbits of information that batoto used to put at the ends of the chapters with stuff like history of the tower, trivia about character, high ranker profiles, Q&A's, gossip, etc that came from the author's blog posts, it just made the world feel sooooo much more alive. TBATE has been close to detroning it but it's unfair since my love for it is mostly from the light novel (go read the light novel, now, NOW!).

Superhuman era also deserves to be at top 10. simply Incredible

Legend of the Northern blade has a lot of things that appeal mainly to those who have already been in the genre for a while. It does most of the tropes out there but it either makes them so much better than the others or changes them up. My biggest love of the story is that Jin Mu Won actually changes in appearance even after the initial transformation. As a child he was short and scrawny, then the initial transformation of growing taller, bulkier and a little older and in that chapter 120 area he actually starts to grow a beard and look more like his father, he does not stay perpetually 16, something that you rarely see in protagonists (usually so the audience can self insert easier) and while it may seem like a small thing to love, the little details like that are what elevates the feel of the story.

You should read "Survival Story of A Sword King in A Fantasy World", I can't believe how underrated this series is. Everything is in there, bet you'll love reading it.

The Beginning After The End the only frame of reference I have are the Light Novels which I have in audiobook(voiced excellently by Travis Baldree, same audiobook narrator for the Cradle series) and I very much enjoyed those books. I haven't checked out the Manhwa to see how it is but I may do that. And as an LN fan, yes; there are some truly insane events that happen within this series that are very well executed.

Also TBATE, light novel is crazy. The manhwa hasn't gotten very far, though I love the art, the light novel is deep and still releasing chapters. It won't get boring at all

I started TBATE cause of the hype around it, but early chaps i couldn't justify the hype around the manwha. The initial story felt like a rip off of mushoko tensei and i didn't see anything unique to it. Nevertheless stuck to the manwha and i must say it was the best decision i ever took, seeing how beautifully well written the story is and how intricate the power scaling is done. The artstyle has also become so beautiful, but the best thing about the manwha is the role played by the side characters, They aren't just basic fodder but hold true value to the story. i agree with most of the list on the later parts but for me in the top you have to get hero killer its such a good manhwa slept on by a lot of people because of its female mc. if i had to describe it i would says its mha powers but you can also get stronger physically just by training i dont want to say too much but every characters powers are awesome example a man which uses smoke to make aquatic lifeforms. its so unique and well drawn you have to give it a read

Where is Murim Login? It starts out slow, but really stands out later on with its art and characters. One of the more unique manhwas I've read, its a fun blend of murim, mystery and gates type manhwas.

Vey nice video man, good work. For me it has to be Solo Leveling in the first place. Huge bonus points for it actually been finished! I have also read the light novels and am watching the anime. Besides that I really, really love the TBATE and just can't wait for the new chapters. Although the beginning was extremely similar to Mushoku Tensei, it eventually went it's own way. I like it quite a lot, plan to read the light novels asap. Right now I am reading Eleceed. I am eating through it. I love it and I just love the stupid simple humor ^^ I have also read the Northern Blade, Omniscient Reader and the Skeleton Soldier. Enjoyed them all but not on the level of the previously mentioned ones. I have only recently gotten into reading manhwa and this is pretty much all I have read so far. Looking forward to everything else I am about to read ^^

There are a few light Novels that deserves to be manhwa if the author is for it ex: Shadow Slave(Phenomenal story and characters and world building) is just want to see it visual form/Reincarnation of the strongest sword god has a manhwa but it’s not good, so many skipped parts of the story and super short on the chapters, it needs a fresh again bc the story is great. But main recommendation is Reaper of the drifting moon, season two is back for the manhwa and the story is a lot of fun. Great list, there are a few I haven’t read or stopped reading bc it got slow. But good to know it gets better. Also Overgeared will get better.

The audiobooks for The Beginning After the End are INSANELY good. I wouldn't have had time to read the light novels if not for them. I agree that the light novel gets SUPER dark and mature compared to its cliche beginning, and the art style was very childish. Really good, but childish compared to the gore and dark scenes as is described in the novel. Also, I can't believe you put Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint so low XD. It's my favorite of all time. Currently reading light novel, and so glad that the manwha is in the dark castle ark. Its so frickin good! Wait like ten more chapters for the manwha to reach the end of the dark castle ark, and it will be in top two

TBATE manhwa is honestly kinda meh, but if you ever decide to pick up the LN its literally so good that its been one of my favorite of all time since I've originally read it and ive kept up with it every week. The manhwa doesn't do it justice WHATSOEVER. TurtleMe's Writing style and lore building of the story is just nuts. I seriously recommend everyone give it a try. (I get that I'm being that evangelist that he talked about but its seriously true for real trust me LOL)

correction, infinite leveling is the guy going through his third life he is a bullshit failure that the system is using for whatever reason, probably just for amusement in his second life he would've died to the japanese guy, so technically the system has saved him from a game over twice at this point, it removed pretty much all the stakes from the story because now it feels like he canonically has plot armor, the system is doing its god damn best to keep him alive

I'm dyslexic so its hard me to read a lot of things I normally stick to audible unless its something really good like the Dresden files so what's good about manhwa is how easy it is to read so I'm glad you made this list also hopefully when they get new artist Beginning after the end the art becomes good
