Great to hear! We aren't so familiar about rent prices due to the virus at this stage. I would highly recommend staying east side of Melbourne though. More safer areas in my opinion.

We already know it's Australia's No 1 city to live in. It's been this way since the 1850s and it will never change. Perth has always been not far behind in that whole period. It's good planning and infrastructure that makes a city truly great. This is why Adelaide & Sydney fail!

Melbourne seriously misses out in the "great outdoors" / natural spaces end of the spectrum compared to all other Australian capital cities.

Hmm it depends.. there's heaps of outdoor activities if you drive out further, but I just focused on inner city for this one. I'll be doing a Top 10 Victoria soon that'll cover outdoorsy stuff for kids.
