Hi, I'm a new subbie and these are some of the things I love about your content: 1) Your sense humor 2) The awesome editing 3) The lack of pretension which is something that plagues the fragrance genre 4) Most vids are a digestible length 5) Although you are hilarious, you get to the point of the vid quickly and don't waste our time. 6) You strike me as honest, transparent and as unbiased as a human can be. Those are the first things that came to my mind. Thanks, Ash, for the great content. You also have an excellent work ethic and post often.
The new background was a welcome site. But as an old head of the previous background I became a fan. All those fragrances behind you really earned my respect that you really knew a lot about every fragrance imaginable.
I've just added sauvage elixir, invictus victory elixir and le male elixir to my collection . Love them all and will be using them through the autumn and winter. Ombre leather and LV ombre nomade are on my wishlist
@@gloe9362 It is also very sweet but on the honey & vanilla side, not as "juicy" as Victory Elixir. I think it smells great but its too sticky and one sided for me. I like Le Parfum more. But if you like sweet scents, you will porobably love it. It is definitely different to VE though.
Bleu Noir Parfum is an absolute stunner. I've had it for a couple months now and, while I always thought it was great, it grows better exponentially with each wear
I just can't imagine Le Male getting any better than Le Parfum. That thing is wonderfully balanced and pretty versatile - I'll pull it off year almost year round except in the middle of summer. It's my favorite fall fragrance for sure.
It’s like the surface of the sun here in Southern California right now and we won’t get anything near fall like weather until the end of November, but I can’t wait to wear Bentley Absolute and Laurent Mazzone Scandinavian Crime.
Another excellent video as usual and my personal ten picks for the fall are 10.) Narciso Rodriguez Bleu Noir EDP 9.) Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo Signature 8.) Dior Eau Sauvage Parfum 7.) Polo Blue Parfum 6.) Calvin Klein Obsessed EDP 5.) YSL Y La Parfum 4.) Givenchy Gentlemen Reserve Privee 3.) Guerlain L’Homme Ideal L’Intense 2.) D&G The Intense EDP 1.) Versace Eros EDP. In no particular order that is but these are the ten.
At this point Spicebomb Extreme is extremely overrated, PDM Herod is better in the Spring when the weather is a bit warmer and Oud For Glory I haven’t tried it yet but I’ve heard nothing but great things about it so I’m going to try it shortly.
I will be wearing Le Male Elixir and Lattafa - Khamrah. Maybe even some Le Male edt. Probably also Montale - Ristretto Intense Cafe and Bacarat Rouge 540 edp
I bought ombré leather a few years ago wore it to a big Christmas party, didn’t get one compliment made me think everyone hated the smell never wore it again now it sits fulll and sad behind my Blue colognes that get tons of compliments
Question. I heard Estee Lauder reformulated Tom Ford, Initio, Killian, PDM, etc. True ? And globally the main 3 to 5 notes are synthetic, scent is much weaker, and high in ambroxan ???
You have really sold me on the Valentino…probably ask for this for Christmas. I haven’t smelled it yet and they don’t have it in stock at my Macy’s so I can’t test it for myself which is the hard part.
I'm definitely going with your top three as I already have them, and Ombre Leather as well. Will be wearing Le Male le parfum in there as well. One of my favorite cold weather and won't let that bottle go to waste.
You’re not kidding about FL, we just about have to wear freshies all yr round. I have 3 bottles of Versace Pour Homme lol Iris…love-hate relationship for me. I picked up Valentino Uomo Intense recently and basically said to myself ‘what’s the difference between this and Prada or Givenchy’, but I’ve since learned to love it. I currently own Prada Lhomme L’Eau, Intense, Givenchy Boise and EDP, and when I first got Valentino, I didn’t know where it would fit in. Now it might be my favorite. It’s just so interesting how our tastes change.
Iris definitely isn’t my jam either but you should give Prada Luna Rossa Ocean edt a try. The iris is noticeable but it’s more clean/soapy like in Prada L’homme.
Stronger with you leather oud and absolutely will all be worn for fall givenchy gentlemen reserve privee and edp, ombre leather, guerlain extreme my decant of costume national soul all probably be worn heavily by me this fall im missing some but those are the first that came to mind lol
Great video and list Ash! I love Born In Roma Intense. After hating on Invictus for years and years, I guess I need to check out Victory Elixir. Maybe this will be the first Invictus I actually like??
@@jimlittle5769 Between 40-50 sold a few & probably only have about 8 now , 5 of which i really use including MB Explorer , Moustache EDP , BB Intense , Dior eau de sauvage Parfum & Ideal Extreme 👌
Ok I blind bought uomo Signature, The one EDT, Boss Bottled EDP and Banana republic Dark cherry and Amber. Boss Bottled Hasn't shown up but the rest I like. I want to get one more but I have no idea what to get. I am really going for Fragrances that fit in perfectly with fall. I thought about mustache EDP? Also, something in those price ranges. Any suggestions are welcome.
This year as it starts to get cold the ones I’m most looking forward to wearing are: 1: ATH Onyx 2: ATH Forbidden 3: Geurlain L’homme Ideal Extreme 4: Stronger With You Amber 5: Amouage Interlude Black Iris 6: Vilhelm To My Father 7: Givenchy Gentleman Reserve Privee 8: PDM Layton 9: Stronger With You Intensely 10: Tom Ford Ombre Leather Not necessarily in that order but the 2 ATH are brand new to me so they are definitely my top 2.
No my friend, in Florida we have 4 more months of Summer, followed by 3 weeks of Fall and 2 months of Spring. The seasons of Florida are twofold: Dry/Navigable and Rainy/SnowBirded. I've learned to pick out the darker scents I like that don't turn into monsters in normal heat. I get to wear Red Tobacco for about a week.
Funny, I don't have any of the fragrances that you mentioned in the video. However, I've tried many of them. My favorite out of the ones I've tried, is Valentino Uomo Born in Roma intense. I love that one, and now I think I need to go pick it up. Thanks Ash!
@@abdourassim960 Well, I like Valentino Uomo a little more because I spent more time wearing it😅In terms of performance they do very well: 6 to 8 hours of longevity and nice projection in the first 2 hours. Can't go wrong with either of those✌️
Another two weeks and I'll be wearing Xerjoff's Toni Iommi and Probally Hermes. Still have one more heat wave to deal with in Philly before I unlock the fall scent from the vault lol
Thanks Gents Scents!! Even in fall. I have tried a lot. I like: D&G One edp. Lacoste l12 Blanc, Xeroff Torino 2 2, Hilfiger I m p a c t!! and Dior homme intense. Thanks. Hilfiger!! Righteousness!! Unknown. Tadpole.
@1:08 Gee there is quite some distance between that front desk and the fragrances on the background. Not only Ash looks quite smaller back there, he walks four short steps to get back to the front.
Hey Ash, how do you feel about Guerlain L'homme ideal EDT? I have mostly worn Dior Homme 2020 as my signature scent the past year and i'm kind of looking for other things to try. Should I skip the EDT and go for Extreme?
Autumn and winter gonna be dark starting with John varvados dark rebel and building up to killian dark lord when it's murderously cold as ice, ombre leather parfum will also feature it does already regardless of the weather
Code absolu comes off higher quality in my opinion, and it's discontinued so it won't be millions of people buying and wearing it like the elixer will be this fall
I'll be wearing LeMale Le Parfum alot this fall. Have a carded sample ofvthe Born in Roma Intense and really like it. Need to get a full bottle now! On another note, I miss the old set and old style of videos. Seems like you are trying too hard to entertain. Probably will watch fewer of your videos. But that's just me and my tastes. Know most people like the new style.
I swear I feel like the only one who loathes Versace Eros. It just seems to offend every fiber of my being 😅 My over all favorite for fall (so far) is Valentino Uomo. I really need to get more Valentino to try, though.
Still crying about the fact they discontinued Armani Code Profumo. Just trying to find something that can replace that perfume for me but haven't really found anything yet. Anyone has any tips to try out?
From one Bleu Noir Parfum owner (and lover) to another, just go for the Guerlain L'Homme Ideal Extreme. I just got it last week and it is heavenly. I'm just waiting for the hurricanes to roll through and the temps to drop before I break that bad boy out!
