I find dialga pretty neat, I know a person who runs 26 ENERGIES in 1 deck to run dialga as consistent as possible, and I don't know how but he always gets good hands despite the energy count. I should ask him for his list xd
As my personal opinion, this video was great! Thanks for giving your honest feedback about paid ads. But most importantly thanks for breaking down the cards, how the decks work, and the list of cards! i dont like copy exactly i like switching stuff up on my own. so watching this video helps me get a good base line for a deck! thank you
I am pretty new to actually playing the game rather than just being a collector. I am told that it is easier and cheaper to just go ahead and buy the deck than it is to buy booster packs and build from there. I see prebuilt decks here and there at Walmart. Are these prebuilt any amount of useful while I am building the more competitive decks?
Hi, not sure if i should ask here, but i want to giving pokemon tcg a try again. Is the meta shift rarely ? or is it quick enough to make one deck became useless in less than 3 months or so ? I kinda want to buy good deck and probably play only few times/month, so I'm looking for deck that potentially survive if that make sense
If you already got the free lugia vstar deck or charizard deck then it shouldn’t be much to upgrade. If not lost zone. Then just play the game with that meta deck and you will get everything over time. It’s super F2P trust
How do some decks like pidgeot only have a pidgey and no pidgeotto? And some of the other decks don’t have all their evolutions, if so how do you use them?
Charizard ex, Dragapult ex, and Raging Bolt ex are the most rotation safe of the ones listed here. Anything that heavily uses F block cards like Lugia and Lost Zone is not safe next rotation. Gardevoir loses its draw engine so I doubt it will make a comeback unless it becomes a very different deck or that Kirlia gets reprinted.
I think Dragapult honestly does well against any deck with Ogerpon since it can set up the damage easily with Alakazam, dusk, and you can easily gust and gey 4 cards in a turn without being killed in one turn
As someone who plays OgerBolt, the dragapult matchup is pretty easy. They aren’t taking one shots, so as long as I’m taking my knockouts every turn like expected and hit a single switch cart after damage is placed, I win. I’d say OgerBolt is favored 70/30 in the matchup. Sure dusclops could make it a bit more even, but at the expense of consistency. I don’t see it going well tbh
1. Giratina is a bit easier to manage while still dealing huge damage, it's basically better for regi than raging bolt if paired with dragapult 2. It's a basic, so you can end up with raging bolt stuck in the active, leaving you in a worse spot than usual. Giratina is basically a better attacker, as you aren't forced to use more energy recovery, wipes much less of your board off (you're basically a sitting duck if you aren't able to recover), and is less risky to use. the more basics you use as your dragon type attackers, the typically less consistent deck that the regi list is.
@@assassinblade-sr5xq I feel like LZ Tina is good into zard and maybe even into pult, pretty even into gardy. It's sketchy matchups are raging bolt and regidrago which I think can still be won if you run fast through your deck.
Surprised Miraidon doesn't even get a mention, has a decent match up into all of the highlighted decks except Raging Bolt Opergon. With a lot of decks incorporating Dusknoir it's going to slow them down which is when Miraidon shines.
@@Raagentreg Charizard has a hard counter in Dragapult & Regidrago + Iron Leaves, both are solid decks that will see play, Charizard won't dominate the meta as much as people think it will.
@@cardeajackson7644 0:20 is when he starts discussing the list. The honorable mentions are important context for a discussion on the best decks in a format.
@machina5 top 10 decks starts at 455. There are some people that just Wan to get what they come for not sit around and talk about everything but what we come for which is the top ten. Talk about the honorable mentions after the top 10
