Thanks everyone who checked out this video over the last year or so!! I appreciate everyone. make sure to browse some other helpful videos on my channel above!!
Rockstar flipper I have a question I'm just starting selling on eBay it's about shipping I don't have a printer is there another way to ship without having to print out a eBay label I'm just getting started and I intend to be
Thanks for all of the information! I like that you jam-packed the info. and got right to the point, keeping everyone's attention!! Much better than some of the long-drawn out other one's I began watching, but turned off. I'm so glad I found you!!
I transcribed this video for those who might need it. 10. Not calculating shipping correctly and losing profit. (Buy a scale!) 09. Accidentally allowing international shipping not through the ebay global shipping program. 08. Sending out items to the wrong customer when the items are similar or identical. 07. Not describing the item correctly or in enough detail. 06. Mis-typing a counter offer. Eg typing $7.50 instead of $75. 05: Combining orders. Buyers can scam you saying they only received one item. 04: Printing the wrong postage label. Always check the printed label against your orders! 03: Over selling items. accidentally posting you have ten of an item instead of 6. 02: Drop shipping merchandise. 01: Selling trademarked products. Great video! Thank you for the advice.
Spraggins Lamkin...that sight is given a 58% scam rating. I noticed you are putting this ad up everywhere, that is known as spamming. Fair warning, you might want to delete this before it's reported.
Simply after almost 20 years on Ebay. They could care less about Sally the Seller from Ohio. They like the Ebay store people retail a million Feed backs 200 negatives and 300 naturals at 88% but still selling Chines shit. Ebay won't pull those guys at 10% fees per item and another 10% for shipping. Say you sell 100 items in one day at $1.00 and ship for $1.00 not to mention Paypal fees. So say Ebay made $10.00 but compound that by 2000 and so on, they are making a killing every minute of every day 24/7. You sell a shirt three a week, your not even noticed. Why is it you can't defend yourself as a seller only a buyer has three choices of feedback, sellers only have one Positive. Ebay is good but they suck at the same time for sellers. Why do they charge you 10% off your shipping price you ask? Because years ago when they didn't charge for shipping fees. Some smart asses listed an item at the shipping cost and made the shipping cost the value price of the item to avoid the higher final value fee.
I've went thinking I could NEVER make enough to pay any bills, to currently paying my full coverage high risk insurance basically lol 2 of the 3 months. Now I'm listing more, and watching these guys, and now I'm thinking I'd be ignorant not to try paying all my bills this way! I do a lot of Electronics, but I've branched out and already seeing a HUGE realm of possibility! Especially learning from RU-vid.
Wow! I feel like I just got a good swift kick in the ass! Being a newcomer on Ebay I can't thank you enough. Your time invested to help people like myself move forward by bringing "what not to do"to the table is priceless to me. Thank you for giving me your hard earned keys to open the doors of success at Ebay. I shall use them wisely. The grief you have saved me was worth the kick in the ass ! "lol" Rock On !
the closer he got to #1 the more passionate he got about what he was talking about. you can tell he has done most of this stuff and learned the hard way. very good tips great video.
Casey my man you are simply the best. I mean I watch other reseller channels as well and they are also very informative and cool but I haven't seen anyone of your label of dignity, honesty, and down to earth personality. Not to mention your inspiration and enthusiasm are super genuine and easy to follow. Keep up the good work bud!
This is hands down the best video of its type on RU-vid. I've seen many "top mistakes" videos and they all just talk about being more efficient basically. But this one talks about actual things that will get your account suspended which is much more imperative to learn. Thanks for this Casey.
Ive been watching you along with a few other sellers on youtube. I am interested in getting started as a seller. I sold my first item on Saturday evening. I shipped it off at lunch today. I am excited and appreciative for all of you sharing this valuable knowledge. Thank you for being an inspiration.
Angel Sullivan he's such an Inspiration! And Congrats on your 1st sale! It's so exciting to hear the cha-Ching🤑. He got me off my duff n I'm so grateful for Casey & Kate. Such a fine young Gentleman and so kind and humble and " So FOR REAL"! HE ROCKS"!
Thanks for the content. I appreciate so much that you have a lot to say, stay on topic, speak clearly and really cram the information in sans a long self-promotional intro or silly graphics, or patronizing pep talk; making 28 minutes listening to one of your videos the equivalent of an hour of someone else's annoying filler fluff. Thank you, thank you.
That intro makes me feel like I'm about to watch the 6 o'clock evening financial report. Its effective, because when its done, I feel better because then I see that it's not.
I have accidentally, switched products and so far every single time every person has been so understanding. Been so blessed. Sometimes they even leave great feedback. You just need to email them immediately when you realize and give sincere apologies and tell them, you will pay for them to ship back and also back again. It will cost me more of course, but you gotta do what you gotta do to make them happy.
My wife & I unfortunately learned the hard way about dropshipping. We got our Ebay account suspended because of that. We were doing $6,000 a month in sales with most of it via dropshipping. it took many calls and much begging to get another chance with our account. I completely agree with everything you said and appreciate the video.
RockstarFlipper We have since made the change and only sell items in our posession. We've taken a big hit on sales because we don't have the volume yet but we are trying to build it up to a level that will make us successful again. I had read online that back in June of this year Ebay was reevaluating accounts that were previously suspended. Have you heard anything about that?
I am an absolute beginner. I don´t buy, or sell. Money talks: I can´t buy, but hope to sell. So, I scroll through ebay-online, hoping to find out at least some of the basics. And there you are! Everything from calculating and managing shipping, to being a bit savvy about the unexpected problems. Many many thanks!! And best wishes for your future ... I hope as efficient and business-like and useful for you as you are to me.
Free shipping domestically i understand with cheap first class and flat rate priorit. But how does international shipping work, i assume work or am i thinking it wrong? My items are all free shipping, it either goes first or priority, but i dont see a way to work around international with free shipping
Old but newbie seller. I sold years ago when everything was .99 cent auctions! Feel like I'm starting from scratch but with feedback! Thank you for your videos! Only have 15 items listed and have sold a few but want to make sure I do it right! Try and watch at least one of your videos a day!
Be careful..i sold years ago..if you sell to much they restrict your whole account on paypal so money from previous 21 day hold that released they keep till restriction completed
Free Shipping is the way to go. Incorporate the cost of shipping into the price, AND then write off the shipping price on your quarterly taxes... Win win!
Another tip, if you have a buyer who opened eBay account that day and 0 feedback, cancel the order or google the address first. If it’s a nice neighborhood and house most likely they are normal people, if not don’t take your chances and cancel the order.
Great tips. As a rule, if I make any mistakes I'll take the hit regardless of circumstances. It's my mistake after all. I've been selling on ebay for 14 years, 100% positive no negatives or neutrals ever. I've made every possible rep damaging mistake you've listed in the vid and, my advice to everyone is to just take the hit if you screw up. If you value ebay as a business the negative ding is not worth the monetary loss.
WOW what a great educational video !! I am a new reseller on eBay (6 months) and I can happily say that I have not made any of your 10 mistakes (yet). But you mentioned some mistakes I had not thought of and you explained them extremely well ! I especially like your attention to detail. I watch and subscribe to many eBay resellers here on RU-vid, but none of them pay as much attention to the nuts and bolts of successful individual listings as you. I also like your attention to customer satisfaction. More than once, you mentioned contacting a buyer when you had a problem, and letting the buyer know about the problem BEFORE it became a problem for the buyer. Nobody else talks about that, and I think it is extremely important... good for you !! I know that you have a large, successful store and when I get to that point, you would be the first person I would contact about partnering together to combine our efforts to grow on eBay (we definitely think alike when it comes to business details and customer service). I have subscribed to your channel and will check out all your other videos. Thanks again !! BTW, what do you think of drop-shipping? (LOL)
I think you need to apologize for criticizing people who use the drop ship model. They have their business model, you have yours. Using one or the other doesn't mean you're lazy or cheap. I have an associate who dropships and makes over $30,000 PROFIT a month.
Wow! I literally posted two hats on ebay last night with the words Velcro in the title. I just made the changes a few minutes ago after watching your video. A Chicago Blackhawks hat and a White Sox hat. Both had adjustable Velcro straps. After doing a quick search though I noticed that there are literally thousands of items with the word Velcro in the title. Seems like a lot of people have no idea about these rules. Thank for posting the videos with the useful information Casey. I have enjoyed watching them and learning about reselling over the past several weeks.
So glad I clicked on this video. I'm a new seller & keep hearing about "drop-shipping". I have it on my list to research & now you have just saved me at least an hour of my time!! Big N-O to drop shipping!! Thank you!
Your #4 mistake, losing track of the shipping label, is easier to avoid if you always print out a packing slip before you print out the shipping label. I always do that, and it helps me keep better track of my sold items. If I end up with a packing slip that has no matching shipping label, then I know that for some reason the shipping label didn't print. Then I print another one and ship the item. I never lose track of items, because I always print out both a packing slip and a shipping label.
Imperiala Gomez A packing slip is like a checklist of all the items that are supposed to go in the order. It also shows the customer's name, address, and usually an order number. The packing slip is usually placed inside the box for the customer to review to make sure they received everything. The shipping label goes on the outside of the box and has the customer's address, tracking number/barcode, etc.
@RockstarFlipper man i just started with reselling and ive seen a ton of peoples videos i gotta say your the clearest to the point and actually seem genuine with helping ,just wanted to say thanks for the great content man!
about VERO its also all about HOW you use it. its all about counterfeiting. from the way you are explaning the onesie, then its a trademark. if you sell a counterfeit onesie then yes expect a vero ding. if its a genuine onesie, then you should be golden, BUT you have to be able to prove it (on used items this is hard. also gerber cant legally call a genuine product counterfiet. if your selling NEW otter boxes, then the issue here is again counterfeits. otterbos is a POPULAR brand. and so the issue here is if your selling a otterbox listed as new, but the item is in a baggy or dodgy packing. the issue here is otterbox simply trying to protect its brand from counterfeits. unbfortunately even from bargan bin finds. and velcro, people consider it a product. but its actually a brand and used to be the manufacterer of "hook and loop tape" (the fuzzy was the loops, and the scratchy is the hooks) so selling a velcor branded item as velcro. but selling generic made in PRC hook and loop tape as "Velcro" is a no no as it is a knockoff. your option for these is to file a counter notice , but this is for US only. Counter notices can only be submitted for US-based copyright reports, in compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Find out what information you need to provide when filing a counter notice as outlined under 17 U.S.C. section 512(g)(3). Once we receive a valid counter notice, we'll provide a copy of the notice to the VeRO participant and inform them that the listings will be reinstated after 10 business days if they don't inform us that they have filed an action seeking a court order to restrain you from relisting the items. If you wish to file a counter notice, you can contact us. for full info see this page pages.ebay.com/seller-center/listing-and-marketing/verified-rights-owner-program.html#m22_tb_a1__7
Getting ready to start as an Ebay seller again. It has been a long time. Truly appreciate the information because there is a lot of information that I had no idea about and I could have been sued, like the word Velcro. Thank you again.
I couldn't agree with you more about drop-shipping. It's always been a pet peeve of mine and you are the first person who seems as adamant as me about it! Drives me nuts and I would never do it. I don't have any respect for people who do. Great video-good job!
Just starting to thinking about reselling. I want to make sure I don't make the mistakes you mentioned as well as others and I've got to tell you that i am so glad I came across your channel. I hit subscribe knowing that your knowledge is priceless. Thank you so much. Keep them coming !!!!!!
I totally agree with not dropshipping on ebay. I tried it on ebay and on my third order, the dropshipper "accidently" shipped the wrong item to the buyer. It was a similar item but a different color and design. Luckily the buyer was an ANGEL and left me a positive feedback because she actually liked it but still mentioned the fact that it was different than pictured, which is understandable. Definitely an eye opener and a lesson well learned. Never dropshipped again. Great video by the way. Thank you.
Casey, When you were giving the example of switching mailing labels by mistake, I noticed that your examples were printed one at a time. I am pretty sure that you, being a power seller like myself, are using the bulk shipping tool. It makes shipping so much easier and makes the local USPS people happy by providing a shipping manifest. This would make a good tutorial for sellers who ship multiple items each day. At my local post office they tell me that so many ebayers don't know how to do it. It is really simple once you know what you are doing. I have also been burned with the word onesie. Also a tee shirt from a major manufacurer with a common phrase "It's all good" that was copyrighted. I got restricted for one week. I got the direct number for the Vero department. They were sympathetic but could not even give any helpful advice except to do a lot of research. We don't have the time to do endless research.
Thank you so much for the info I've been selling on Amazon for probably eight years now I'm getting ready to venture out on eBay so all the information and knowledge that I can gather is great I love your videos I just started watching you this week I found it very helpful and thank you for sharing your knowledge with everyone else I think it's great and super and I think you're a nice guy thanks a lot😏
RockstarFlipper i have a question? since you have millions of items to list do you list them directly from ebay or do you used a different website to list them. im asking you this because i saw other reseller using a different website. can anyone answer my quuuuuuestion.
I'm new and planning to sell some items on Ebay. I know I'm very late to the show LOL however its something I always thought of but never tried. I don't know if I'll be opening an ebay store right away however I have so manny different things to sell and get rid of I thought I would at least try it. My wife and I had a death in the family and since I've been cleaning out the house I've ended up with an awful lot of stuff lol. Since I'm going to try I thought I better do a little research and gather some information from others who sell now. I've watched about between 30 and 40 videos over the ladt two days and yours are by far the most informative, helpful and the best. I wanted to take a second and say THANK YOU!!!
Great tips, especially the drop shipping! A lot of people drop ship from their Amazon prime account! Which is against Amazon policy AND Ebay's I believe
CareyJ wow! Really I order a dirt devil stick n somehow came across the tracking info just last week n saw that it was sent through Amazon. Which, Honestly as an eBay seller that I found to be quite awkward and is that really allowed. I know someone who does it and she wouldn't be doing it if it wasn't allowed (is what i said to myself) it has something to do with multi channel fulfillment-I think she calls it, cross posting on both?!?! Good ?
Which is no longer allowed to have drop shipping since buyer has a confusion regarding it. That is high risk having returns that the seller's account can be high risk to have returns.
awesome, GREAT CONTENT as always. I think moving Q&A to Thursday is a good idea. man #2 really gets your pressure up, I've heard of it and I really don't think I'd care for it. I like my products to be in my hand while I'm listing it. #1 I didn't know about the word thing, heck I didn't know you could copyright the use of a word. I sold two more items today & I had a best offer on another one, I accepted the offer & about an hour later ebay sent me a message that said sorry item did not sell so I relisted it & canceled the order. kind of piturb me a little because I lost my watchers & it pulled it out of the sale I had it in. so I had to go & start another sale for that one item. anyways thanks Casey, I really appreciate you.
*Raises hand. I lost my account because of drop shipping. I was a newb, I went on vacation to yellowstone park for 10 days, I couldn't get to a computer and didn't even know things sold because I was in the mountains with no reception. Well, pokemon GO came out and suddenly I sold a couple portable USB solar chargers and they had spiked in price within a week. I refunded 5 people for "out of stock" because I didn't want to lose money buying the item and having it shipped to them. Next evaluation on Ebay came and I had 5 defects and 50 sales... a 10% defect rate. I vouch for no drop shipping. The idea of having a bunch of inventory in my house was intimidating at first. But it's really not once you have an inventory system in place. Don't drop ship, it makes everything much harder when you get your home account banned.
Thats not just drop shipping mistakes, thats being gone mistakes on top of it, ouch. Had you been home you could have drop shipped to handle it as iv oversold before and in an emergency pinch i have been able to dropship products that i ran out of. But yeah overall its just a BAD IDEA
to avoid swapping items, always print labels individually and finish packing each item before you print the next label. Then you won't have 2 labels to swap accidentally. 1 at a time saves time.
I wouldn't say that dropshipping is lazy. To be a successful dropshipper requires extremely much hard work and skill, maybe even more than hauling and keeping inventory. I have been dropshipping myself for the last 6 years with around 500 orders every month, and haven't received even one defect or negative feedback, ever. I agree though that rookies should be very careful with it though.
Also 1 mistake I make is not proof reading the listing before posting to ebay. Thus making the mistakes you mentioned. I forget when I sell similar to make changes like adding "no international shipping due to size/weight" clause to my oversized items. I forget to check off NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING. I rush to get the llisting posted ASAP and an international buyer is still able to buy it with very low shipping costs paid. It takes time to list and time is money. Lesson learned and am never rushing again. Thanks for the reply. :)
I listed an Ultimate Warrior poster and he personally contacted me and eBay about using his name in the listing. I had to remove it. This was when I first started in 2012.
Warrior is actually from a town close to me. Shame he is now gone but that's what that industry and all the drugs/roids do to a lot of guys. I grew up in the 80's and I must admit I loved it when he came out to that music and shook the ropes. I really liked seeing him get inducted to the WWE hall of fame by Hogan that was pretty cool. Especially the impact that night had on his daughters.
Thanks for the great video! Your point about drop shipping is so important! The other problem (among many) is that you don’t know how the company packs their items- for example, I am known for my neat, pretty and sage packaging with a hand written note... the company drop shipping from often just dump it in the bag with no real care taken. The buyer then blames me, not the company! They may even have the price on it, we don’t really want the customer knowing that we only paid $1 for example. But yes, it’s a good point.
Thank you so much for the information. I just listed a couple onesies today and didn't know. I paused your video to change my listing. I appreciate you sharing your wisdom.
I don;t like dropshipping. I do my own manufacture. I have been very lucky selling my designs on ebay. I sold lot of costumes last Halloween 2016 my own designs.
They just haven't been discovered yet. It's always like that because so many zillion sellers on Ebay they can't catch them all. I got busted for using "onesie" in the title of baby clothing but was actually notified by the company and politely asked to remove it with an explanation. I was CLUELESS about this VeRO stuff before that and am glad I was politely asked by the mfgr instead of getting a hit by Ebay. I am totally freaking out on "velcro" though. I know I have used that many times and had no idea it was protected. (Back to the land of hook and loop I go.) LOL....and let me just go check out that VeRO list while I'm at it...
There are thousands of new Otterbox items on eBay. Very easy for the company to find the sellers and they are still there, many of them have been there for a long time.
Thanks for explaining dropshipping. Im a first time seller on eBay. And im trying to learn all i can. I sold my first item a week ago. And the only thing i did wrong was i didnt have a scale. And i let eBay calculate it. And it was a couple oz over. But i got it fixed. Had it shipped and the customer recieved it. Without losing anything. But im subscribing bro. You explain things really good. Dropshipping sounds scary lol. I'll be taking your advice!!!
I am coming back into selling on ebay after a few years away and just watching some videos. I knew most of these but there are some new features that I wasn't familiar with, but to have you explain them and to go into them, very informative and detailed. Also very enjoyable. The number one is the main one I did not know about though. Appreciate that info. Wondered why resellers who do videos were calling the velcro hats strap back hats.
You are so right with dropping shipping... I was a power seller then Ive dropped down to below standed all because the company that was dropping shipping from could not full fill my orders and I ended up refudning my customers and fighting of neg feedback in the end I close my shop untill I got it sorted. Now I found your video and you are so right in what you say I WILL NOT USE DROPING SHIPPING AGAIN and put my ebay account at risk, ebay still have the policy that if you dont have the item at hand then you should not be selling it a MASSIVE lession i have leant even tho im based in the UK the rules are all the same across the ebay network thanks for sharing your thoughts I whised i found your channel early and I will be subcribing to your channel thanks
Here's the eBay link for the companies and/or products which have a VeRO profile: vero.ebay.com You can then click on each one listed (and the list is huge) to read that company's policy. The eBay help page before this one gives a better understanding of the program: pages.ebay.com/help/policies/programs-vero-ov.html Thanks for your great information, Casey. Following your guidelines will help us all stay out of trouble.
I'm too new to answer for you, catmusicgirl. I'd be pretty skeptical of anything on the list. Hopefully someone here with more experience can give you a better answer.
Betty A . Thanks for the link. As I newbie I need all the help I can get. Whow. The list for US is everlasting. Based in the UK and luckily the list is much shorter. 😅😅
Great video. We take a photo of the items we are combining and then email that with an email containing info (shipping ect) to customer. We also place that photo attached to the invoice we include in the package. Dont know if it helps but we havent had any issues thus far. thanks
Rockstar! I have been watching you and Raiken. I can't thank you more. Just started selling but, by using your advice I am making a lot of sales while working through my seller restrictions. TYTY
I first thought this guys was some young kid who just wanted to be on RU-vid. But WOW he saved my ass. I was about to post item that was against Ebay policy due to copyrights. THANK YOU! and I will subscribe!
Just watched this in 2021 and when I started selling I learned how to sell through RU-vid and this video was the one I saw first …long story short it worked for awhile I sold dog supplies and it caught up to me .. cost me 200+ in fees! Suspended and now trying to get my account back. Had great feed back too for 10 months and badges from eBay all that but the last three orders it screwed up my whole account. Wish I knew this before I started but I’m selling on other platforms but nothing as good. Thanks for sharing all of your info! Just thought I should confirm what you told in this video to be very true!!
drop shipping is not lazy or cheap, you might be surprised how much work goes into researching products to sell... i use USA companies and always make sure they have plenty in stock before i list on ebay, i never use overseas companies like aliexpress or Alibaba, cant stand fake items.....still love your videos Thumbs UP!
the problem with drop shipping is you actually don't get anything back in return. You use the buyer's money and buy the item. Why not just buy it with your own money and resell it?.
scalabrine, A: People don't have money to begin with to buy the merchandise themselves. B: Dropshippers don't want to take the risk themselves. With dropshipping you pay when you have a guaranteed sale. Normal sellers take the risk of buying a buncha inventory and then having it not get sold thus lots of losses.
Drop shipping is what put us out of business years ago. We had three main suppliers who all said they had the inventory then when orders came through all three said was out of stock.
@@scalabrineplayoff3pt46curr7 Storage can also be an issue. Not everyone has the space to store all of those items. You can drop-ship from anywhere in the world. If you have items listed on eBay but then go on vacation for a week, you're going to have to pause all of your sales unless you have an employee physically working back home they can ship those items for you. With dropshipping you could be on vacation for a month and still let all of your items keep selling without pausing them and without needing an employee.
Thanks, from a new seller with 8 positives so far! Lol So, personal integrity and attention to detail is the fundamental for me. Starting slowly and trying to learn and understand and setting up global shipping still has me concerned. There is actually a huge amount of studying and learning to do. The first time several days ago a buyer emailed me to say he hasn’t receive the shipment yet. I am lucky that I saved the receipt from the post office and the half of the printout with the tracking number on it and the date and the address and I photographed them both an email to the customer back and expressed my thanks for him being patient the tracking position hasn’t moved in five days. So I’m still waiting for it to be delivered. I’m hoping quality of communication means something as well as integrity and attention to detail. Thanks a lot for your video.
excellent video Casey, been selling on ebay for 5 years now. have 100 % feedback, have made over 18,000, so i have been checking out your vids to see if i need to up my game....
This is the first video I have ever seen of you. I think that much of what you said is valuable. It seems like you've been doing videos for a while from comments you've made about upcoming plans. I am not trying to be critical, but having done some community TV big elements that we got hammered on in training was set, setting, lighting, visuals to convey your content. You can tell from my avatar I too am a pasty White guy. I almost hit pause so often that I knew I had to say something. I have a problem that I struggle with to try to do all as close to perfect as possible and I am sure you will agree it's somewhat debilitating. I often don't do something as I can't do it on the level I want. So to say it could have been a combination of a White guy in a white room with a single white light the juxtaposition of the white door and white wall with your hands as your only props to mark your progression as well as some vagueries in presentation. As much as I am not a fan of Mark Worman from Velocity TV's "Graveyard Carz" he put together a little studio for his videos. Like many reseller's say, "Take good photos in good lighting." Their emphasis on the the low cost element and how it gives you preceptible quality of time spent on making a product to be proud of. I hope that I didn't hinder what you do!
Loved this video. I'm just beginning on Ebay after a few months if educating myself and boxing up all potential sales!! Eeeeeek! I heard about drop shipping and immediately thought - bad, lazy, money grabbing business! I learnt alot from you and cant wait to learn more so of course I have subscribed 😁 #1 was super useful to know! All the best 😁
Wow, Casey, You are the man Best 10 list I have seen so far Thank you for making this video I watched it over 2 years after you taped it and I am finding great content and taking your warnings to heart. Thanks again
Wow!! Such GREAT information! Especially mistake #1! - Thank you SOOOO much for sharing your "lessons learned" with us... I remember watching one of your old videos a while back on whether or not to wash sourced clothing; and it's awesome to see the evolution of your success!. Keep up the Great work and MARRY Katie TODAY!!😀 A partner in life and business is a beautiful thing!!! (IMO😎)
Thanks so much!! I appreaciate you taking the time to leave the kind comments. have a wonderful day! and il keep what you said in mind :-) its been a fun journey
holy hell-you are the rockstar-thank you so much i just signed up 2days ago-blinded by ebays runaround tutorials-not a clue-ebay should pay you for this-if it hadnt been such a mystery-i would of done this yrs ago
@@RockstarFlipperAloha- literally just made my first sell an hour ago (package received) is it too weird to get personal with your buyer-i think she may of got freaked out about my "estate sell" being mom passed and left me boxes and boxes of dollhouse stuff? started up the store too-big step for me-im normally beached bum on the big island (noworries or responsibilities) not even a phone. anyway you are great and if you like miniatures ill give you the best of deals-youve saved me ton of money on explaining shipping already-thanks again "hawaiiflowerchild" Mahalo
Holy shit a half hour top ten video in one take, no cuts, no screw ups, didn't lose track what number he's on, the execution is impressive as fck i just had to point it out.
I caught myself switching items yesterday. When I ended up with a sealed box and the wrong paperwork for the remaining item, I realized what I’d done and carefully excised the shipping label to use on the correct item. Dodged a bullet! I don’t start shipment packing until I have the packing slip, the label, and the item and packing material in front of me, so a non-printed label wouldn’t affect anything. When an item sells, I add it to my list of items to fetch from the storage unit. If I didn’t have a label for an item I’d fetched, I’d know it hadn’t printed. But VERO.? I live in terror of unknowingly violating VERO! I need that list to study daily until It’s fused into my consciousness!
Thank You so much for great advise. It has helped me in my new adventure with ebay . I liked the drop shipping rant. As a buyer, nothing aggravates me more than someone in Ohio selling me something that’s drop shipped out of China and it takes forever to get to me.
Great info! I have spent the last day watching your vids and taking notes before I jump into the biz. I've been craiglisting for a few years and want to expand my horizons. Thank you
Most fascinating thing! Wow, I am speechless, and amazed actually!! I attempted to watch some of these 'scam' videos about eBay (for the first time), and all four of the videos turned out to be about the buyers as the scammers. I have never sold on eBay, and have no intentions of doing so either. However, I 'bought' many items on eBay, from small items all the way to expansive homes. The way I saw the whole thing had been; "it is impossible for the buyer to scam the seller simply because you cannot get the item unless you pay for it!" Simple enough, right? Just like going to a store; you buy, you pay! Yet, despite paying in advance as eBay demands, there must be at least about 100 items over the years that I have never received, especially from those outside the USA. The scammers (a husband and wife team) who supposedly sold me a luxurious house was about to cheat me out of hundreds of thousands of dollars of my hard-earned money -- I learned later that they did not even owned the house... These are all true stories I myself had experienced; so, where are those stories about the buyers who are constantly being scammed by the dishonest sellers on eBay?!
