You know what'd be hilarious? If someone had the Winged Dragon of Ra in their deck just as a middle finger to someone who tries to use Sphere on them. "Alright, for my move, I activate its effect to Special Summon Ra from my deck, which I happen to have"
While yah but he's only good in a deck built for him. Its like venominon or venoninaga they they gain high attack plus they have snake rain to boost them up. True zombie world screws them where as skull servants cant get screwed.
I'm pretty sure he means monsters like gofu, grinder golem, samsara lotus or cannon soldier, they were Inexistent in the game before links came out, even scapegoat that everyone used to ignore and now it's on the edge of the banlist
gofu is still good before links, grinder golem is used in inferno tempest deck, don't really know a lot about samsara lotus but i guess it has its uses, cannon soldier exist in almost every FKT since it first came out
Ironically enough, SPKG Zero and Infinity were supposed to summon Z-ARC in the anime, but in the real game, as far as I remember, he cannot actually be summoned that way. AT least they can be used for Revolution.
@@BucioTheZenith Not exactly wrong, but you missed the point. The reason why Zarc created Pendulum Summoning was to have a way for him to come back, so even in the case he gets destroyed, he can be Pendulum Summoned back again. He even gloats that fact to his opponents.
Konami:Kaiju is an archetype based on our country long time running Kaiju shows like Godzilla and Ultraman, wish you guy understand the uniqueness of this archetype an- *players uses Kaiju as EZ monster removal and beat over it* Konami:Excuse me but wtf
@@DelawareBrooks Tribute your opponent's monster, Special Summon 1 Kaiju from your hand to your opponent's side of the field (This is where most players just beat over it). It's not out outside of japan. The only way to get it is inside the alternative Arc V magna that's currently a Japanese exclusive. yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Odd-Eyes_Revolution_Dragon
My toughts exactly. I used the first to great effect whenever I played. He was my go-to Bebecerasaus target. And now that I recently came back, he is still my favorite way to deliver the final blow, bringing him in with Miscellaneousaurus.
I think he’s focusing on non specific types. Tyranno is banished dinos and skull servant is just the servants. Things that just say removed cards or combo of all machines is a bit broader effect. But yes those cards are good in the decks they are built around.
That zodiac combo is cute. A snek and Dragon because they're both scaley, and a Ox and a Rat, because in chinese mythology, the rat rode on the head of the ox during the great race and jumped ahead of it to take first.
To correct: Future Fusion was put to 1 to stop Chimeratech Overload combo on the first list after its release. What got Future Fusion banned was actually much later, due to Lightpulsar + Dark(whatever), and Eclipse Wyvern and their graveyard effects.
Go search for Catolebpas and the witch of fate When your opp spsummon the monster(s) you can banish 1 "?" Att point monster from your GY destroy that monster(s) Such a unique effects
@@kevinilibiodalosto7838 idk, I have a copy of it with the question marks. I think the one that's basically a movie card has the X000 and the one with the actual effect written on it has the question marks.
About Evil Hero Dark Gaia, if it is summoned by Dark Fusion (I assume as long as the fusion summon is not negated), it cannot be targeted by anything the turn it was summoned. Effect Vieler should not work against it.
Love the video! By the way, You don't need to mess with scale numbers or odd-eyes revolution dragon's levels to pendulum summon it. There is a scale 13 monster as well as a scale 0. All monsters can be pendulum summoned(except nomis and semi-nomis) You are one of my favorite yugitubers😃
@@afraid2losebalance303 a nomi monster can only be special summoned by a certain specific way. Example: Any fusion Elemental Hero. They can only be special summoned by a fusion summon. If a nomi monster is destroyed, you can't special summon him back with monster reborn. A semi-nomi can be brought back with reborn, but you need to special summon him properly first. Like Black Luster Soldier: If he gets destroyed, You can summon him back with monster reborn.
@@fisicogamer1902 thanks appreciate it. Though you could say nomi is a "must be special summoned by...and cannot be special summoned by other ways" and semi nomi is "must FIRST be special summoned by..."
@@CodeVenomSnakes Lul yes it is. Its a Super Rare from Maximum Crisis, the last Arc-V set. Supreme King Gate Zero also as the same rarity in the same pack as Gate Infinity. Do your research next time.
It’s real, just not very used because if I’m remembering correctly it has this weird restriction that only lets it work with Supreme King Gate Zero and it’s overall just too much hassle to go through for most pendulum decks when they don’t even have too many monsters they’d want to summon that would need a scale that high
Yeah infinity has that annoying restriction of you cannot pendulum summon unless you control no monster. Not something you want to play in MR4, heck even in MR3 you don't want to play it.
@@Marqrk It's rather good in zarc.deck. thing is, unlike its' zero scale brother, you never really use it for the scale, because the pendulum summon condition makes it terrible. You generally just pop it on board for the zarc setup.
I love your videos. I played yi gi oh since 2012 and I stopped playing like a year ago, but there are some card on your tops that I have never heard off. I like the way you talk and explain those crazy combos.
My favorite "? ATK" card is Endless Decay. It's a great card if you can get it out early or if your opponent is beating you down since it can start out at 4000 ATK.
It should be honourable mentionend due to The biggest Beatstick in the game. And in its archtype it have protection (Lady of the wight's effect) and brought Out very easy and gain the ATK very easy (Future Fusion with nethersoul-> 6k ATK or Instant summon with 3k ATK)
@@Serverfrog same for Tyranno Infinity. You can get him with 4000 atk minimum by just summoning him with Miscellaneousaurus, and since Ultimate Conductor Tyranno and Big Evolution Pill banish dinosaurs to drop on the field, and banishing Miscellaneousaurus to summon Argosaurus is one of the most important parts of the Dinosaur combo, you can bet he will reach the 5 digits by the time you drop him on the field.
Surprised to see Gren Maju. When I still played the game years and years ago, only playing casually with my brother and a couple friends, I ran a banish deck with him as my endgame staple.
I know it’s been a very long time since this card was even remotely good, but I actually used to have a lot of fun with “Great Maju Garzette” since it got double the attack of the monster that was used as tribute material to bring it out. If it had any form of reliable protection or searching I could see people definitely trying to make a gimmick deck to turbo it out and KO the opponent in one hit, but that’s too unreliable now.
Endless decay is my favorite. Easy as hell to summon and if you run zombies you can get it out 2nd turn by either tribute summoning if it's in your hand or by pyramid turtles effect and it will have 4000 assuming your opponent doesnt have any damage which makes it a good starter
i mean there is master peace, firewall dragon, ptolemaios, zoodiac drident, rhongo, shock master (if you count "Number" as an archetype), any dragon ruler (if you can count those) supreme king starving venom(idk if you can count that one). if you stretch it, maybe gumblar dragon. i don t think you can make an argment for "there are enough" eligible monster. and if future lists may just put exactly 10 monsters on the list, it would be "just look at the banlist and pick the 10 eligible cards"
One thing you missed with Odd-Eyes Revolution Dragon. There is a scale 13 called Supreme King Gate Infinity which allows you to Pendulum Summon it. Broadbull also made the Zoodiac Barrage engine really good because he can immeadiately detach his xyz material then you could summon Chakanine to revive the material giving any deck 2 free monsters on the field. Great list man! I love your lists, but I'd love to see another gimmick deck some time :3
As someone who barely watched Yugioh GX let alone 5D's, I barely understood synchro summoning. Then I heard about XYZ summoning was was totally lost. Now the hell is Pendulum summoning?! I thought I was lost before now I'm totally out the loop
I would say wicked avatar would fit in the same spot as geh because while the avatar continually has 100 more atk then anything on the field 2 turns later and it's pretty much vulnerable and since geh negates its effects avatar atk would be at 0 so geh wouldn't gain anything so they would crash
I'm SOOOOO glad they added *Divine Serpent Geh* to the game, I'm just waiting for a full *Orichalcos* Archetype release. I'd like to see some *Pendulum* additions to the Archetype as well.
I was only listening to the audio of the vid, not watching it. When I heard "Gren Maju" I misheard it as "Grandma Ju" and I thought "damn a 4000 atk grandma, on par with gods and dragons. This game must get its shit straight"
I thought Future Fusion was ultimately banned when Chaos Dragon reigned dominate. If not Chaos Dragon then Future Fusion would’ve been e-ban when Dragon Rulers premiered.
I'd like to see another top 10 Duel Links related vid. Top 10 archetype decks used in the Kaiba Corporation Cup maybe. Or just the top 10 archetype decks in Duel Links to date.
I would like to report that #5 was slightly inaccurate. Future Fusion was banned, but Chimeratech Overdragon is not the reason why. The reason Future Fusion got banned was because it was part of a 1 card FTK that was extremely powerful at the time. It also led to the banning of Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier. The combo was extremely powerful, don't get me wrong, but it was not the reason Future Fusion got banned. Other than that, I think everything here is fine.
Well my favorites aside from eater of millions are the 0 atk monsters in the maju garzett family and thousand eyes restrict. I remember this one game where this guy got blue eyes ultimate dragon out on turn one, used his whole hand to do it, I played brain control, and sacrificed it for great maju garzett. There was this other time when my opponent gave me a lava golem and with nightmare wheel, he wondered why I said thank you, great maju garzett. The best thing about it is that if you get a big summon like cyber dragon, you can get a 4200 atk beatstick on turn one. Another time i had a board of heavy hitters, the person I played against played winged kuriboh, and one legendary maju garzett at 9000 atk later and the game was over. Good memories, I still run those cards in my chaos deck, and I will check out divine serpent geh, sounds interesting especially since I need something to add now that chronograph is banned and astrograph is limited. I was thinking of interplanetrythornypurply dragon but geh is easier to pronounce.
One that came out after this video that I love is Fortune Lady Every She has atk = 400 x her level and gains a level each of your standby phase Also during the standby phase she gets to banish one monster the opponent controls AND on the opponents end phase if shes in the graveyard you can banish one other Fortune Lady card and Special Summon her back Her level of recursion and easy banishing makes her a really fun card to use.
Let’s see, King of the Skull Servants, Cyber Eltanin, The Calculator, Aegaion , Evil Dragon Ananta (I know you know this from Duel Links), Endless Decay, Exodius, Fortune Ladies, Helios, Tyranno Infinity, Wyrm Zero, UFOroid Fighter, Exodius, Slifer, and Megarock Dragon. Hell, Utopic Zexal beats all of these cards, how did it not at least get some notable remark?
D/D/D Destiny King Zero Laplace has ? ATK, has a really good "before the Damage Step" effect that is unrestricted, and one battle destruction + damage immunity per turn to go with all that. It's a pretty solid boss monster. Cyber Eltanin is also pretty decent I think because it's a board wipe that doesn't target or destroy.... in Cyber Dragon anyways.
In the DS games, People that use Future Fusion to summon Chimeratech OverDragon but don't have Overload fusion used to make me laugh so much when everything blew up and then they rage quit .
I loved memeing with ascension sky dragon, using the 4 exodia pieces (for being lvl 1 normal spellcasters for use with wonder wand/white elephants gift) a bunch of lvl 1 tuners blue eyes tuners, having easy ways to summon a lvl 8 on board because of it. The one spell card that can summon like 3 low level normal monsters, lord have I forgotten it's name. ... and as many black luster soldiers as I was allowed to fit in. Having a huge draw engine, easy access to formula synchron and lvl 8's, that baby went places. Good times. ... shame people just blow you up nowadays. XD
I'm surprised Ascension Sky Dragon made the list since unless you have 4 cards in your hand, its attack isn't very good. Hilariously 2400 is "meh" and 3200 ATK is "good" and they are one card apart. Now many good synchro cards have less than 3000 ATK but good effects. Stuff like allowing you to special summon cards from the same archetype from the hand or deck, the ability to target and destroy a card on a summon, being immune to monster effects, or negating stuff are really good. ASD... doesn't have any effect other than floating. So this just tells me if it's the top 10 Monster with "?" for ATK, there just aren't many that are very good.
On a personal note, the cards "Level Limit Area B" and "Gravity Bind" were and still are huge pains in the ass. I play YGO pretty casually, so I don't have very many decks that run XYZ monsters or Link monsters, and these two cards basically shut down all monsters with levels 4 and up. That makes "Gren Maju Da Eiza" an even better card because, with the right deck, it is basically a Super Powerful Level 3 Beatstick.
@Charmiskit That's kinda the problem. Most of the cards I use are either really old or really bad. That and I have, like, three chests full of super specific cards.
my favorite is Endless Decay, draw into an armageddon Knight, 2 mizuki, card destruction and foolish burial, foolish burial one endless decay, summon armageddon knight, activate it's effective and send a second endless decay to the graveyard, card destruction the 2 mizuki, activate both of their effects from the graveyard, special summon both endless decay's you now have 3 monsters on the field in one turn, combined attack power being 9400
Future Fusion wasn't banned because of Overdragon. It was banned because of Chaos Dragons/Dragon Rulers. It got limited way earlier but wasn't actually banned until then. Then it got an errata.
wasn't Chimeratech Overdragon also Errata'd? if I remember right, it could attack without requiring monsters on some version of the card, or maybe that was just a anime only version of it.
Gre Maju appeared but you forget to mention one thing about it.... it can also boost it's defense, which can be good as you can set it, and watch your opponent attack into it not expecting a non-tribute normal set monster to have 4K+ defense...
@Charmiskit How often do you see flip effects nowadays? Besides, if they could Pop it when it is face down, they more then likely could also pop it when it is face-up (running a card that can't is kinda stupid now that Links are a thing), so it wouldn't matter what the position is in that case.
Chimeratech also OP because if you have cyber network on the field, it will be destroyed bringing back the banished monsters, which you can then use for nova then infinity, then you get 3 protection from anything, insuring your victory.
In a Videogame i got hit with chimeratech overdragon in that way once. The computer used about 20something monsters in the fusion and it got to 17600 attack power. Ran directly into my mirror force... sucks to be that computer
I remember adding chimeratech overdragon to my geartown deck people were like "thats not gonna work" Insert surprised pikachu meme when they get run over by unlimited beatsticks with trap and spell battle protection. Really terrible vs stalling tho cus the deck milled itself so quickly that i'd lose duels to decking out.
