***** I'm sorry, but other than the Turtles themselves. The new TMNT movie is terrible. I hated that movie because everything else besides the Turtles it gets a lot more wrong than it does right. Megan Fox may look the part, but she was so not ready for this and any other actress could have played April O'Neil, Will Arnett is horribly miscast in movie, William Fichtner is wasted as Eric Sacs, the humor for the most part sucks, horrific villains-(THEY BUTCHERED SHREDDER AND THE FOOT CLAN), Eric Sacs and Shredder's plan, the climax of this movie, and bits of the movie's origin story is a complete rip-off of The Amazing Spider-Man movies, the Turtles for the most part are treated like side characters in their own movie just like how the Transformers were treated as side characters in their own movie-(That is a problem when the titled characters are treated as secondary characters in their own movie), terrible story and writing, the direction is sloppy where it is filled with unnecessary shaky cam and lens flares, the tone is all over the place, stupid product placement, forgettable and one-dimensional characters, and it borrows the Transformers formula and applies it to this movie and it just doesn't work. These are the reason why I HATED the new TMNT movie.

***** Like I said the Turtles were the redeeming quality of the movie, but that doesn't excuse the fact that the rest of this movie was crap. What I meant by shaky cam is any action scene not involving the Turtles, Shredder, and Splinter is done so poorly. Although April was useful like you said, but she does one thing in the movie that goes too far as the lead and why having her as the lead was a mistake and why they should've focused more on the Turtles as the leads and April a fair amount of screen presents as a secondary character. Yes there was not a lot of explosions and the snow fight scene was really good, but that doesn't mean the first half of this movie was painful to watch. If the movie had focused more on the Turtles as the main character instead of secondary characters and didn't focus too much on April O'Neil and know when to focus on her, have a better Shredder, make the foot clan ninja than having them as mercenary terrorists, embrace the TMNT universe, don't copy or borrow anything from other movies, get better writers to come up with a better story than what we got in the new TMNT movie, pick a tone and go with, ditch the product placements, get a camera man who doesn't use lens flares and knows how to shot a non-digital effect action scene properly, and have strong enough characters to have a purpose in the movie. Then the new TMNT movie would've redeemed itself. I will say that of the movies I've seen this year, Transformers 4, Vampire Academy, The Legend of Hercules, and I Frankenstein are worse than the new TMNT movie. I didn't see Sex Tape because I have no intention of seeing that movie.

He has watched it but he dropped it at episode 8 but as time went on he feels bad for putting it down and is willing to give another chance.

Christian Alonzo I hope he does give it a second chance. I can understand why he doesn't like it after only watching the first 8 episodes. Some of the episodes can get boring at times as well. But I honestly believe it's a good anime when given the chance.

Godizilla was not bad. It just needed more Godzilla and more interesting characters.

Well, for one thing, for a movie to be disappointing you have to have certain expectations. Transformers was not worse than I expected, no matter how bad it was, because we expect it.

yeah that's why we care about movies, the characters.
