They do not sell for that much ever. They are lying. If you notice eBay sold listings are one bid sales. Anyone can bid but not obligated to pay. It goes down as a sale. It's complete horse shit nonsense.

It's only a jackpot if someone buys them.The ones that are considered the top ones.Princess di etc...are going for like 5 bucks on Ebay...it's a scam I had almost all the top ones...No one would buy them on ebay even 12 bucks each.

I just bought all the top 'valuable' ones brand new at a thrift store in exclellent condition for $1 a piece. I wish I had my $50 back as every single one is on ebay for .99. IDK how ebay makes it look like they sell for thousands, but they're actually just re-listed.

I can't believe I used to have both Millennium Bear, and Whisper the deer, in GOOD condition too!! Ahhh! Lol I also had Gobbles the Turkey!! Omg I wish I hadn't lost them lol!! I still adore beanies! I actually found the Beginning Bear "TY Original Beanie Buddy" from 2000, i found it at Goodwill yesterday! and it still has the tag, and the plastic protector, and its in immaculate condition!! So, I'm pretty sure that there is a small group of sellers/buyers on Ebay who manipulate Beanie Babies sales. If you ever look up half of these on Ebay, most won't sell more than $20. However, for each of these, there are a few of them that sell for several hundred or even several thousand dollars... but they are all sold/bought by people with no reviews on their accounts or haven't sold/bought anything else besides a single Beanie Baby. I may be wrong, but honestly, if you do want to sell any of these, do some research first and don't believe half what you read/hear.

Recently discovered this same phenomenon. Looks like there are some people out there that may have taken a bath on the Beanie craze and invested heavily in collecting them. When the bottom fell out and devalued them, lots of people lost tons of money. I'm guessing there are hacks on ebay trying to falsely inflate the market to rebound. The person who created this video simply saw the completed sales/auctions, but didn't do her research. Who knows, she might be one of the hacks trying to assist in falsely inflating the value.

You're absolutely right. You could easily buy every Beanie in the video without a hassle. Beanie Babies just aren't worth anything nowadays. The only ones that are, are first and second generation ones made until 1995.

I collected these when I was younger and still have many and I can tell this list is 100% wrong. The rarest Beanie Baby was and still is Peanut the Elephant in Dark Blue. It was and still is the holy grail. Other rare Beanie Babies are Digger the Crab in Orange, The Teddy Bear Collection is the various colors, Snort the Bull, Quackers the Duck without the wings, Nana the monkey, Patti the Platypus in the dark color, Peking the Panda, Chill the Polar Bear, Inky the Octopus in the not pink color, and Humphrey the Camel. These were all some of the first Beanie Babies to be made and they always were the rarest and most expensive. This List in this video is totally incorrect.

I have all of these beanies. I was an avid collector as a kid (well me and my Dad). I haven't sold any of mine. They hold too much of a sentimental value. I was even part of the collectors club and have that collector clubby bear. I will never sell my fleece the lamb or squealer the pig. Those 2 were my first beanies and I love them too much still to this day.
