You can look at the feedback of the seller as well as you can see how many sales they have made. If you are purchasing very expensive/RL cards, it would also be prudent to only buy listings that include pictures of the card. Hope this helps : )

Honestly? I'm glad the cards in this set aren't "valuable." I don't play this game to flex my wealth and sell myself on the delusion I can retire off the back of some weird pictures of wizards and dragons. I play this game to get a bunch of friends together, sling spells at each other, and actually have fun. If I wanted to speculate on tangible objects as a means of investment, I'd just buy some gold or a house. Something with more liquidity than trying to explain to my grandpa who Chandra Nalaar is and why her wedding photo is somehow worth $25

@@TherealLaserdog sedgemoor witch is like $2 now you should pick it up. It isn't played in standard anywhere and it can honestly only go up from more commander or a rogue pioneer deck demand barring a reprint.

yeah this is gonna be a dark age for magic crap cardboard that no one can sell or trade. i remember the mirrodin standard and it was THE golden age. this game has fallen so far. far far too many random and insultingly overpriced products, hasbro/wotc greed, worthless cardboard that wotc sells for a fortune, ect. wotc refuses to even slow their constant pumping of the mtg bubble. a whole bunch of nooblet players are gonna find out REAL fast that those 25$+ collector booster full art etched borderless chocolate covered rhinestoned super duper ultra mega rare cardboard will never be worth anything lmao to all you collectors wanting to retire on reselling mtg cards you missed the boat by about 15 years when alpha power 9 didnt cost more than the average american's entire lifetime earnings... im so so happy i got my full playset 8 set ravnica giga cube bought and sleeve six months ago. i JUST made it before these cards will essentially be impossible to find for any reasonable price at near mint condition. especially the original ravnica set. hot take: wotc will reprint the power 9 in the next five years in order to hoard even more money. save this post.

you should step away from the game. it sounds like you're very jaded atm of it. I do agree with them being greedy and i feel like they're pumping it out so much. as for can't sell or trade that is a lie. lol that or you just ask too much or don't know how to trade. i have been playing since the dark so i know about golden ages like Urza Saga for example. :) good times. there were a lot of blocks that made the game what it is. Standard during Mirrodin was actually fun compared to today's.
