What about when Serena was betrayed by Vanessa and Jenny at the masquerade (not knowing how conniving Juliet was) while Juliet kept Serena drugged up in that gross motel? And then she was taken to rehab and the only person who actually listened to her was Dan? I understand it’s hard to believe someone who has been there before, same sort of behavior, but those few episodes really hit me hard. I didn’t always have a ton of sympathy for her, but I truly felt bad for Serena. She didn’t deserve that at all.

Blair’s eating disorder shoulda been addressed more. The season where Dan took no responsibility for gg and made Serena feel like a slag wasn’t nice , so when Nate punched him he deserved it for being mean and judging everyone

God, I LOVED this show so much! That scene where Blair reads her letter to Serena ... that still breaks my heart. "Where are you? Why don't you call? Why did you leave without saying goodbye?" *crushed*

One of the saddest scenes was when Serena and Trip had their accident and her friends visited her in the hospital and Chuck had a panic attack, I just had to cry😭

Dan and Serena were TOXIC together. It's funny because Penn Badgley wanted Dan with Blair. I agree with the Chuck and Blair moments, though. Ed and Leighton had the BEST chemistry on GG

What I loved about GG was that even though the characters had there faults you still couldn’t help but love them, I’ll admit I’m not a fan of Jenny I found her behaviour worse than Blair and Serena’s combined! Also Chuck’s Dad Bart.

I absolutely LOVE Gossip Girl but even I can admit that for the most part this show was far from heartbreaking. With the exception of the top pick, most of these moments weren't really heartbreaking but more of irritating or much needed (ex. Jenny needed to leave and Blair had no business marrying that Prince over Chuck)

I hate Dan so much, moreover I do not understand Serena’s behaviour at some moments. I hate Jenny and all of her nonsense… so I was absolutely happy about her leaving. But Blair… little girl who was betrayed and left by her best friend… Her dad left her family… her mom was too busy at her business, her boyfriend cheated her. Then was that prince (omg) … Chuck did some shit and so on. Blair was the only one person I felt sad about.

What about Cece Rhodes' death? That was pretty sad and also what about Chuck letting Blair go to be with Louis in the end of Season 4. That was pretty sad. For the first time Chuck put Blair's happiness above his own. He knew Louis was the better man and that he could give Blair a much better life. I hate how this show and the list paints Jenny. They paint Jenny like she is some kind of saint. Jenny never does anything wrong. They all do it Dan, Eric, Rufus. Chuck and Jenny slept together and they all placed the blame entirely on Chuck as if Jenny wasn't a willing participant. They always do this. They always make Jenny out to be the victim and as always no matter what happens, no matter what Jenny does, she is forgiven for all.

And Blair gets consequences for all the scheming she did, she was so weak that she banished Jenny and blamed her instead of Chuck, she couldn't stand up to Chuck so she went after Jenny and why is Blair always the victim, blaming either Serena, Chuck, Dan or Jenny for her problems when she was a monster who hid it under girl bossing

Watching gossip girl back in the day I liked Blair and Chuck but rewatching the show now in my late 20s I realize how toxic their relationship is and how horrible Chuck is. Idk why I ever shipped them in the first place

leighton is a great actress.. she can be cute, funny and then break our hearts when she's hurt.. and ed keeps up.. i do think penn didnt have a chance to show more of his acting skills in gg.. btw, i love the scene where blair read a letter to serena..

**Second comment, but spoiler** Sad moment: when we’re hyped up for 6 seasons to find out the identity of GG all to learn it was lonely boy all along (which really doesn’t make a lot of sense). Then lonely boy is so upset that other people just brush it off so he decided to change his identity and become Joe Goldberg (but he still stays in NY). He divorces Serena and becomes obsessed and applies all of his knowledge and refocuses it on stalking other women. He’s no longer obsessed with Serena and becomes obsessed with a wounded soul named Guinevere Beck he feels like he needs to save. And his previous psychopathic-like tendencies he had before become full-fletched and real. But, he started off as GG and continues his path of stalking, serial killing while he watches YOU. Let’s hope that Blair, Serena and Chuck aren’t vacationing in Paris anytime soon or else they may meet their doom 🤭.
