I noticed the heart shaped diamond cut is coming back into style again. Love to see that. 😊 And you're right about it being usuallu given as a promise ring...my fiance gave me a beautiful claddagh ring, where there's an obvious heart in the center. Love your videos. I learn so much!
My husband proposed with a heart -shaped diamond. It's not what I would have chosen, but it was pretty. I lost it on a trip after we'd been married 10 years. So many tears.
That’s why you gotta get a cheap dupe ring for trips love. I’m sorry that happened to you. I bought my friend a dupe ring for her engagement present. I told her to wear that one to work and you know doing rough stuff and keep the real one at home safe.
I find that I'm the most picky with heart cuts. The symmetry is showcased even more than other shapes. I find them beautiful, but would absolutely want to choose the center stone myself if my partner and I went with that cut! ❤
I think a heart cut is very cute and can look very beautiful, i think it looks better on smaller stones. Idk if i would personally want one, but theyre so cute!
My engagement ring is a 2.5 carat heart shaped diamond that my husband gave me 30+ years ago. At the time, it was not a common cut but it seems to be gaining in popularity.
My mind immediately goes to Irish Claddagh rings when I see the heard cut diamond. It does definitely look very difficult! Even my own looks like the person cutting was having trouble
I'm so glad to see the heart cut is coming back into style, I wouldn't even personally want one but they are just too cute for people to not be wearing.
@@heehoopeanut420 There is actually a real reason why we chose it. One of my pet names for her is My Heart. So when we were looking and talking about rings, she mentioned that she just loves when I call her that. And it was a beautiful moment, as we were talking, it just came up and it was perfect. Just thought I would share.
@@Pooja-ot9rt haha I design jewelry for a living! I don’t really have a tutorial 😂😂 I don’t sell necklaces though, only rings and earrings but I’m sure you can find something similar online!
I personally wouldn't either love or hate the heart shape. I just think it night not be that suitable gor engagement rings because the edges of the stone wouod be probe to chips and knocks etc and also the style probably won't date very well.
The heart shape is cute but it feels immature and childish - and that isn’t to say I don’t like it or anything. I feel like you have to be a specific kind of person to pull it off
My family's jeweler said "I wanna see what every girl picks out for herself" and told us girls to "Pick whatever yoh girls want your parents are going to buy them for you" apparently i had chosen a piece that made him go "I feel sorry for whoever marries that one she's got expensive taste" as an adult i can say "I've always had expensive taste" 😂
