Ichigo's new bankai allows him to alter fate. You got something right though, Yamamoto's bankai is the strongest in the soul society. And i think you underrated Ichibe Hyosube, i mean this guy was there before the creation of bleach universe, he is similar to the soul king. But the soul king is more powerful, he looks much like the form captain Aizen took when he merged with the Hogyoku
Technically, Ichibe's can't be called a bankai. He said it himself, it can only be considered a bankai. I understand that Senjumaru Shutara's bankai wasn't included on the list, 'cause it's way too much to include it here. And Yamamoto's bankai being number 1 is just right. I remember Unohana's wish, speaking to herself, for Yamamoto to end the battle as fast as he can as she fears that Old Yama's bankai would destroy the entire soul society. Also, Shutara explained that the entire Squad Zero's power were sealed, 'cause even if just one of 'em uses their true power it will cause tremble to the three worlds, which was proven when she used her bankai. It was felt in Sereitei and the human world. This is also true since most of 'em didn't even use their shikai as they fought Yhwach's elite guards.

No bc plot armor. spoiler from the manga: yhwach has an ability that nullifies other powers from working on him. I dont recall if it was confirmed but I think that means that Aizen's hypnosis also wouldnt work on him. Ichibei did try overwriting ywach's name but it didnt work, so I think that means he's untouchable from that angle.

Lol it’s not. His sword is the strongest water-rain type in all of Soul Society, same way Yamamoto is the strongest fire type. His is much stronger, he just needs to learn to control it it properly so it won’t kill everyone around him, including his comrades.
@@lamike1982 rukia isnt an ice or a water type bankai though. it's the coldest bankai. Capable of going to absolute zero. Yes hitsugaya is stronger for now, but in time Rukia's has serious potential.

@@supastartonez I don't have it backwards, that's literally what's been showcased in the manga and anime. Rukia goes to absolute zero. It's how she killed as nodt. It's why she can only maintain it for a few seconds and why it technically kills her body when she activates it. Anything that she touches also instantly freezes because that's how cold it is. Hitsuguya's comes nowhere close to that. he makes an ice dragon and then turns into an adult form that lets him flash freeze things. But he doesn't go absolute zero. The mange will even tell you that Rukia's bankai isnt an ice type it governs cold. So when they say hitsuguya has the strongest ice type it is correct. only because Rukia's isnt technically an ice type itself.
