I'm quite sure Muzan was weakened by Yoriichi in his fight... since his wounds never healed which emplies he was effected by the injuries... also Muzan was clearly still psychologically effected by his defeat and clearly still was terrified of him despite him no longer being alive

I would ranked *Yorrichi* personally more above Demon King Tanjiro, purely out of his unmatched talent and skills, that were basically unrivaled by everyone in demon slayer. That being said though, if however Demon King Tanjiro was able to survive on for centuries like *Muzan* and ate more the same amount of people to grow even stronger. I might consider it a close tie between who would honestly be able to win.

In my opinion 13th Tanjiro vs Akaza is probably the most even slayer vs upper moon match-up in the series. Akaza is much stronger and durable. But since Tanjiro was able to decapitate him while calling out the attack I think it’s fair to say speed and sword skills goes to Tanjiro (especially with all the ridiculous amount of stuff he gets like see-through-world, mark, red nichirin). I wish we got to see more 1v1s because the way the upper three were taken care of felt really bull.

tbh, i agree with basically all of your rankings. there is definitely an argument to be had about obanai, giyu, and muichiro, but it's true that muichiro has the best solid feat with oneshotting full power gyokko with no difficulty (whereas giyu was basically just stalling akaza without making any progress and obanai was ganging up on muzan with others, mostly saving the other top tier corp members instead of actually confronting muzan). sanemi and gyomei are uncontested as far as hashira go. my main difference with your list is that i would have moved full power tanjiro below sanemi, due to both sanemi and gyomei going head to head with kokushibo to fighting muzan with almost no break. tanjiro being able to face muzan isn't that impressive to me, as he was progressively getting weaker and weaker as the fight went on due to the aging drug. plus, obanai assisted tanjiro in that scuffle, shielding him from a lethal blow. the top three moons are basically already ranked for us, and yoriichi gave muzan ptsd, so that part is pretty clear. demon king tanjiro, imo, is equal to yoriichi because he has basically unlimited stamina thanks to his top tier sun breathing. also, tanjiro was pretty much feral for the entire time that we saw him in his demon king form, so it's possible that he would be able to preform streamlined sun breathing w/ muzans abilities, but it's not really confirmed. awesome list either way despite our disagreements, keep up the good work 👌

No i don't think Giyu's power is debatable as he not only battled Akaza but push Akaza to use metalic blue attack to break dead calm which is Akaza's most powerful offensive attack and not to mention until the very last moment when Tanjiro unlocked selfless state and transparent world both he was just helping Giyu by trying to hit Akaza nothing else if you watch the manga you will watch that after Giyu came back after generating mark its actually completely Giyu vs Akaza Tanjiro was just thinking about how to break Akaza's compass shield

It is definetly close between obanai giyuu and muichiro, but personally, id have to put obanai first giyuu second and muichiro third. Obanai may have only had one battle but he went insane in the fight. It is true that the other hashira were injured badly, but obanai was fighting for a really long time without even having a demon slayer mark. Once he did get a mark, he started going crazy and landing more hits than anyone else. He was also the first one who helped tanjiro which kind of accounts for the fact that he wasnt injured before the fight started. Overall, id put him as the third strongest hashira behind sanemi and gyomei Edit: also, i forgot to mention the fact that he was helping tanjiro 2v1 muzan, while being the main one protecting them. It is true muzan was weakened, but he was insanely injured too. Id love to debate about muichiro and giyuu, tho i do think muichiro is kinda overrated

While I do find Kokushibou's reason for giving up dumb, I believe Akaza had a good reason for quitting. Tanjiro made a good move and, while not totally defeating him, one upped him and Akaza recognized that and gave him the win

Muzan literally perception blitzed Gyokko. Even if they were only "Helping", It’s still better than any feat of Muichiro.

I agree with everything you said except for your ranking of final form Tanjiro. I think he is stronger then Akaza and Douma and even rivals Kokoshibo. Tanjiro was able to go head to head against a Muzan who was able to take on and beat the entire remaining demon slayer corp. He was even able to beat all the remaining Hashira together. Kokoshibo struggled a lot against Gyomin and Sanemi. Although he was stronger then them especially when he gets his head cut off he still did struggle. Akaza is depicted to be a lot weaker then Kokoshibo and even lost to him in the past. So power scailling wise I think Tanjiro in his final form is stronger then Akaza and Douma.

I feel like Yorrichi would be stronger than demon king tanjiro in that state of moment but if tanjiro trained sun breathing and combined it with muzan black and normal blood demon art for like thousands of years dkt will be much much stronger and it’s not stated in the manga but demon could die from 3 ways - sunlight / nichirin blade, wisteria poison ( only effective on weak demons ), total cell destruction. I feel like Yorrichi could achieve this feat with his 13th form

Yoriichi is no doubt the most powerful Demon King Tanjiro is certainly tougher however Yoriichi has everything else

I feel like the rankings are too inclusive of the demons regenerative abilities because when it comes down to it the demons didnt get stronger, they just regenerated whereas the hashira and co, had to be strong enough or get stronger to cut their head off

I am not saying Akaza is not strong but Akaza's own statement is the proof that Tanjiro surpass him as he stated Tanjiro achieved Anatta( Selfless state) and not to mention Tanjiro managed to unlock red blade against battle against Muzan without help of Nezuko's blood And also he could perform 13 th form so i think while fighting Muzan i will say Tanjiro's power is comparable to Kokoshibo far above Akaza and Doma.

You no if yoriichi destroys all of muzans sells that have entered tanjiros body you get rid of muzan and the way you destroy the sells is by hitting every body part which yoriichi can do pretty easy

Imo transparent world tanjiro , not even final form , was stronger than akaza , as he did decapitate him. But then tanjiro got even stronger and was able to somewhat put some work against MUZAN. who is far above kokushibo who is above akaza. U cant just say being able to regen your head means u win by default. Especially after u put yorichi above the demons who can regenerate their heads. Also pretty sure doma just didnt have the will to regen his head. So I do believe he would lose to final form tanjiro as well.

I would disagree with the akaza over tanjiro final form ranking, I do understand you perspective but tanjiro WAS able to cut off akaza's head even though akaza killed himself tanjiro was in that moment somewhat above akaza, and then, tanjiro is given a huge buff, so I think it is ok to say tanjiro is a bit stronger then akaza. I wouldn’t even put DKT in the top 10 probably not even top 25 A fatigued half blind Kanao could dodge his attacks Zenitsu’s hand stopped his strongest technique without permanent damage He lacks speed,AP and all sorts of intelligence he simply isn’t that strong we don’t even know if he had TW or breathing techniques sure a ‘stabilised’ DKT would be a monster but that is not something we saw If Yoriichi fought DKT he could simply grab Tanjiro and run him over the ocean and drop him keep in mind to run on water you only need to be 150 km/h

Almost perfect ranking. Tanjiro Demon King is top 3 because : - Yoriichi can kill him because his red blades can kill the Demon King's descendants. - Muzan can destroy him because Tanjiro has his blood so Muzan can destroy / manipulate him.

Obanai and giyuu should be above mui he has no feats outside of beating upper moon 5 while yes giyu was getting no diffed by Akaza he’s still able to show relativity also obanai kept up with Muzan while blind a weakened Muzan should still be way above upper 5 and tanjiro should be above Akaza
