Honestly there is nothing for me this week. But Im curious about this FAME:Mike Tyson comic book releasing. Now July 10th comic book week is the one I’m super duper hyped for TMNT 40th Anniversary Comic Celebration book
Agree that "Gunslinger" has seemed to hit a point of stagnation in the last few issues. Hope to see things pick up there soon again. "JSA" should be better than it is with Johns writing it. Jay Garrick is a cool Flash, but I agree - the book just doesn't feel inspired. I think Johns is probably saving his best stuff for his own universe these days. Surprised "ASM" annual is so high on the list. "Batman" is always going to be high on the list, because as Bale said, "He's Batman." I could be writing it and you could be the artist and it'd still be high on the list. Haha!
@@ComicBookCorner2.0 I totally get it, I feel the event tie ins are just ok but what I'm enjoying is McKay's ability to provide decent event tie ins without hindering or diminishing his ongoing storylines. I think readers of the ongoing series will get more out of the blood hunt tie ins than the readers that are just picking up issues for the event.
Somehow I missed that ASM Annual when I was doing my preorder. I don't really have any desire to read it, but it's gonna bug me that I'm missing it. I'm gonna have to grab a copy
I'm buying Birds of Prey and Shazam out of habit. Probably should drop them. I'm behind on reading both series. Too many other higher quality books get my attention.
It’s a very well illustrated comic with an average story. The Ground Zero issue was about a 3.5/10 and Absolute Power #1 was a 5.5/10 mostly because of the art. I will say it was better than Bloodhunt #1. But AP #1 is not worth the $6 cover price and BH #1 is not worth the $7 cover price.
@@ComicBookCorner2.0 it seems like they definitely need some forward momentum. The big two have been stagnant for a while and they could use some hits. I am glad you are enjoying them though. Just because I don’t really enjoy a book doesn’t mean it isn’t any good. It’s just not really hitting with me.
Gunslinger has definitely not felt the same these past issues and it's a shame, as it was my favorite Spawn book. Batman is hitting on all levels for me is well. Have a great day man #staylegendary & much ❤
