Success is worked out by: total number of World and Olympic individual medals won, if there were ties it was split by number of golds, then number of silvers, then number of bronzes. If there was still a tie, Olympic medals were given precedence.
Factoids: There have been 89 different medallists on the uneven bars since worlds began for women in 1950. All of these medallists have come from 16 different countries. Elizabeth Tweddle (GBR), Kim Gwang-Suk (PRK) and Gretchen Kolar (AUT) are the only champions who are also their country's only medallist. 5 of the 15 Olympic Champions on the bars (Caslavska, Korondi, Comaneci, Lu and LePennec) never won another world or Olympic medal on the bars.
