What is your favorite TV show that you think more people should be watching? Taboo with Tom Hardy which came out back in 2017 is finally in production on its 2nd season… Thanks for watching!
Severance, Severance, Severance...I love a lot of TV shows, but nothing blew me away this year like Severance did. Agree with your choices of Mr. Robot and Hannibal - great recommendations. And based on your recommendations, Im definitely going to check out Evil and Servant. So thank you for that!
I do recommend servant. I saw all 4 seasons and must say sth out of originality. Never have Ia though I'd be watching sth that is clasified as horror but in fact it in not a horror but dark drama-mystery I'd say. Time in from of the belly not wasted finally.
took the word right out of my mouth. Severance should be the cherry on top of every list of top tv shows in 2023. Haven’t enjoyed a show like that since the early 2010s
@@homelypearTokyo Vice season two (whilst currently streaming on Max here I am eagerly awaiting a U.K release), and season one was slept on, especially here in the U.K 🔥
Brett again has done his homework. I looked up every show on IMDB and all were rated highly. None were under 7.2 and none higher than an 8.6, nicely done!
You know, I really really hate to say this… but being guilty of this… I think the Covers(thumbnail) for Joe Pickett just doesn’t do it any justice… I have skipped over it everytime…
Taboo knocks spots off these others but I am biased living on the South Bank of the Thames. Set in the War of 1812 which gives me my favourite quote of the series ''war between cousins is far more terrible than any others''.
@@La_RooSaw the first episode on IPlayer today, I loved The North Water water and The Terror (all BBC/FX co productions). Tokyo Vice season 2 is going to be brilliant (waiting for a UK release date and currently streaming on Max in the U.S, season one was so slept on, just like Warrior and Banshee (Max being HBO's 'sister channel'/streaming service tends to get less attention than 'true' HBO originals like The Last of Us or Mare of Easttown). My favourite shows of all time: The Wire, Boardwalk Empire, Banshee, Rome, Band of Brothers, The Pacific, The Night of, Breaking Bad, Succession, Sharp Objects and Tokyo Vice ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Good Omens is not underrated. Quite the opposite, its success earned the series a second season even though it was intended and made as a “one-shot” mini-series….and the same goes even more for Mr. Robot and Hannibal, both series are super famous and have won many awards - and brought Rami Malek and Mads Mikkelsen to the attention of Hollywood, earning them their roles in several major hit blockbusters. On the other hand Taboo is absolutely **criminally** underrated. I watched it (because Tom Hardy…💕😛) with not so high expectations….and after finishing it I bought the DVD boxset and rewatched it a couple more times. 🤩🤩
Mostly everything is death, gore, evil, shocking etc. Truly that is result of a falling world and society. Hard to watch anything these days. But as always, Brett, you are great at what you do.
