Someone probably already said this, but Mother's Skinning Knife is very useful for skinners as it allows you to skin kills at a distance from you and it's not limited to use on the Broken Isles. There are downsides to it, one being that when you use it, you're prevented for a brief period of time from using a mount and the other is that it won't give you a skill point, so it's best used if you're already at max. It's a reward from the Drakol'nir Must Die quest line in Stormheim.
Excellent video that promises to transform my day to day play experience in WoW. Fighter Chow + Stirrups + Hoofplates + Barding = I wish I'd known a long time ago!
most useful item for me was the 'flight masters whistle', having that and goblin gliders is great for getting around when you don't have broken isles flying. ] another super useful item is the paladin mount that lets you stay on your mount in combat, and do everything essentially on your mount.
"Twenty-five hundred thousand." That's 2,500,000 (25-00-000). Not only is that a very strange way of saying 2.5m, but the achievement requires "two-hundred and fifty thousand" (2,50-000) points.
God I totally forgot about Bear Tartare. I kinda assumed it only worked on the usual "an enemy that gives experience or honor" restriction. My gosh that's really insanely useful in old raids @_@ excuse me, I need to go cooking...
Man, seeing that Peggle add-on again after all these years gave one big nostalgia burn to the times in WotLK. Played that game so much while using the taxi/flying/downtime between raid bosses.
I know i post this every video and i'm not gonna stop till the video is made! Top 10 Titles Unobtainable to Players Anymore in Legion! gogogogogogogogogogogogogo
The quartermaster items are cool too. The one that teleports you around Asuna and especially the mobile telemancy beacon that is a toy from honored/revered nightfallen. Free meredil portal is awesome for both the city, felsoul hold and especially the spider dungeon.
In my server drums are 2 gold on ah. Definitely better off buying than paying for garrison. Also if we are to mention Oralius, The bottomless rune for 50 stats is stronger even for raids and m+ where you can't afford using rune every time you die.
Id like to say the Fishing Artifact. While it might seem weird at first, the fact that it lets you 169% swim speed and breath under water at any point, and can be put on in combat without any cooldown - Its by far one of my favourite items of Legion. I dont even fish much, but I still have the fishing rod macroed in case I need to get somewhere fast under water.
that fishing rod is the most useful thing in the game! i'd totally take that over anything else.. when u can't fly yet it'll save your life more times then anything else! just jump into water and swim away super fast! fast swim buff still works while mounted! it doesn't dismount you.. which I found super useful even after getting flying in legion. this item is TOTALLY worth the grind. even if you hate fishing, do it! it's so worth it!
Thornstalks for druids! You can easily solo any group elite with them, they do MASSIVE damage and root target for a pretty damn long time, they still do like 400k dps, last time I've used them.
Tank specialisations are, by their nature, immune to daze, as being dazed kiting mobs would be extremely painful. Because of this they are never dismounted when running around so you can use any mount, not just the 60% chopper to run around if you are a tank :D
I remember playing the Bejeweled mod in Wrath, one amusing thing was it actually had a skill counter for it and when you hit a milestone it would announce to your guild/party/raid that you had leveled up, some friends and I got in trouble from our raid leader when we all got caught playing it mid boss fight due to the announcements. On the plus side we still downed the boss even though our main tank and two healers (one raid, one tank) were all busy matching gems at the time :D
18:22 actually the kite only lasts for 1min while the glider lasts for 2min, so not strictly better than the glider in every situation. especially when jumping from dalaran to the broken shore or the eye of azshara, the extra minute duration makes all the difference.
18:41 - no it's not a free goblin glider. It only lasts a minute when you use it. The real goblin glider lasts 2 minutes, so for those long transatlantic flights, you'll actually MAKE it because you have enough fuel unlike the inferior, crappy sky kite bullcrap.
While the kite is quite useful most of the time, it's not as interesting if A: You have a Goblin Glider Kit, which lasts 2 minutes as opposed to the Roc Kite's 1 minute, or B: You're a class that has an innate slow descent spell, like feather fall or levitate. Nice list tho, didn't know some of those informations :D
Candy Crush inside Wow? ...Oh geez, as if people were't addicted enough already, lol. Whats next... a Facebook stall in Stormwind, right inside the Bank, a booth to check your ingame facebook profile? Can call it... "The Book of Faces" ...Keeps track of your friends, and what lvl they are at, how happy they are, and how many cats they own? =D ...also useful for tracking and keeping tabs on your exes, to see if their life has improved or fallen to shambles, after that unfortunate nasty breakup. lol [Admit it... you all know what I'm talking about] ;-)
I still use the Highmountain Speed Buff to this day, because i always do all of the PvP world quests on the Broken Isles, as I’m not a fan of actual PvP, but still want to passively earn honor for the mounts/toys/pets, etc. You can get about 120-150 honor per day, per toon this way. And Highmountain usually has two PvP WQs, one in a warden tower, and the other in the underground arena (which you can fly in). So having that 30% mount speed buff is great for running away from the arena if you’ve already finished the quest, or just even getting down there because it’s a pretty long trip. Def worth it though.
Lmao, I know you're a very bright guy, I do, but It's pronounced "Tar Tar". It made me cringe every time you said tarter. Just started playing WoW again after playing MoP through it all and clearing Heroic SoO just to play WoD for a month and flame out. Besides the tar tar your vids have been very helpful. I still pop visions of insanity right now
Surprise you mentioned the 100 stat flask from WoD, since there's a vastly more powerful Legion version from being revered with the Legionfall. Either way, the 100 stat flask is still useful in two scenarios: 1. You're not revered with the Legion fall. 2. You die shortly after applying the legion version, as it has a 15 min cd and is removed upon dying.
RIP Bear Tartare... I fucking LOVED that item and they nerfed it from 70% movement speed increase to fucking 5-10%. It's barely noticeable now, GG Blizz. Pissed me off with that one.
"Ghetto bloodlust" :)))))) Btw, check out the "Repurposed fel focuser" from 7.2 broken shore quartermasters (15 min cd, flask-like item, 500 all primary stats+ 750 stamina)
There is something else, an item/pet, that I would mention: the Argent Squire (with it's mount and all that shitty stuff). With it you have access to your bank / mailbox wherever you are. It could also be in the top 10 worst grind shit
I remember playing peggle on long flight paths and before that, reading in-game books that (back then) I could carry in my bag. My favourite was "feast of the winter veil", very good read and since I was maining a mage; it kind of made sense :D
the stonehide barding is pretty useful in my opinion, although being a LW i can keep the effect for 8 hours. I like it because it allows me to run through areas i would likely otherwise avoid for fear of being dazed into a pack of 10 enemies. Now, yes im a rogue, i could bail out of that quickly.... but then i get to worry about the next time. this removes that fear. i just need to survive the run now.
I'm wondering.... with the pump action bandage gun, normal bandages, and gift of the naru would it be enough to heal valithria? Yes I know you said you can just run past, but if you are farming the shards from Shadowmourn you don't want to skip a boss if you can help it.
you know there is a far better version of Oralius' Whispering Crystal right. Its called Repurposed Fel Focuser and the vendor is on the broken shore in the hub. Its the human vendor that sells items and gear for nethershards. It does require you to be revered with armies of legionfall and 5k nethershards but both of those are pretty easy to farm and most ppl went through that content just through the campaign. edit: also im surprised you didnt mention the lightforged augment rune either, its in the vindicaar on argus with the lightforged army vendor
Those pump action guns sell for 500-1000g on your sever? I've filled the main bank slot with those... they are dirty cheap to make and sell for so well.. man I am missing out..
kite = 1 minute of flight. goblin glider = 2 minutes of flight. Emerald winds = also 2 minutes. Combining the goblin glider + emerald winds together is full 2 minutes of flight which is better then the kite. Besides goblin gliders are cheap 200-1200 gold for 20?
You have no idea how useful that pump-bandage gun is, I managed to cut about an extra week of grinding ICC with my dk for the Shadowmourne quest by getting fragments from the healing encounter, Simply using a regular legion bandage and when it got interrupted i just popped the bandage gun to finish it.
The Barnacle-Encrusted Gem does not break from abilities like Heroic Leap btw. So it's pretty much only combat that breaks it. Mounting breaks it as well though.
In my opinion the most useful item i've ran across in Legion is the www.wowhead.com/item=133755/underlight-angler fishing artifact , when you get the traits for example waterwalking and the fish form under water , It's lovely to use in suramar for example when you get caught , since the fish form does not remove upon taking damage or in combat you can just swim to a safe place and morph again. I'd love to see this on the list!
Um no. The item that gives you the 100 stat boost does not show up as having a flask on raid addons, it'll still call you out for not having a flask. But at this point in the game most raid groups will have an alch who has a cauldron so raid members don't really need to worry about remembering to bring flasks any more.
Underlight Angler, getting overwhelmed by mobs in suramar? jump off a ledge into the water click on the rod and presto you swim away fro mobs at top speed, i was running around the town owning mobs way before others on the server only because I had this in my bag ready to help if i got overwhelmed.
I wouldve put DH above Dk simply due to the fact you can grab crystals that spawn everywhere in the zone and basically fel rush fly everywhere. But since it's your video the opinion goes to the creator hahaha
"Jewelcraft is great for pulls between raids" You're not dedicated enough. I once played Jewelcraft while downing normal KJ, and still did better than the pugged members.
The problem with the Emerald Winds is that if you enter a zone that gives you an extra button (suramar for the disguise, stormheim during a WQ or other), the extra button of the toy will disapear and you are going to fall like a piece of crap to the ground =/
I know it is a "bit" late but i saw the video now that it was recommended to me and after a 3 year break i didnt know about the healing potion cd change!but did you know you dont have to walk arround the green dragon in icc? You can just run right through her since she is not an enemy. That is since mop or wod ;)
Warriors have no healing options? You forgot about victory rush and some might argue commanding shout? Drums not useful in raids. Sorry but you never been to my guilds almost pure melee no shaman, no mage raids.
It's funny how "top list" makers stretch definitions to get the list done, but it's your list, so whatever. Also a game to pass the time within a game, much useful, wow!
fun fact: Bejeweled game has been playable in wow as an addon since at least wotlk :D .. also there used to be an addon that made its resizable ingame window transparent so you could watch stuff in VLC player
a good replacement for the brulfist idol, but only for gnomish engineers, is the gnomish gravity well, it can be unreliable at times but has the potential to get you more than high enough to die. it usually doesn't work in areas with no flying, but for some reason does work in the Broken Isles
I got all of those toys at the end there even though I'm 3 years late, but I'm too lazy to get legion flying so I'd rather grab some random toys and call it flying instead. Here's a video of where to find the items to make that slow falling toy at the end, it does a good job at showing you where they are: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tGOqkkvaGBg.html
You forgot a few things. The Emerald Wings can kill you if you get into Suramar or a world quest that replaces the wing icon to a quest item. Effectively making you fall to your death. You also forgot to mention how Fighters Chow is extremely useful with the Warlocks "Burning Rush". As long as you are out of combat it enables you to run at increased speed for an hour since life is replenished faster than it drains. Great for transmog farming.
Your videos are interesting, but why not end with number 1? What's the point of a top 10 if you're starting at 1 and then going down the list getting worse and worse? ^^' Just a thought.
the barnacle encrusted gem give them ability to walk underwater, ability boots that give extra move speed also translates. i use this with my rogue's sprint.
At least for now, a single shot from the pump-action shotgun allows any class without heals to easily complete the Valthira Dreamwalker encounter, even on heroic.
i am a anime fan and one piece is my second favorite anime a favorite is konosuba what is your favorite anime . on the end of your video i saw konosuba foto in the backround . And omg the avianas quest that was hard i think 20 times fallen and then i see i have a mesege in my postbox i wasted 1 hour.
